Well, you have to sign up to join a goddess! Go to the forums page for the event and one of the stickys at the top will let you choose your goddess.

Once you choose your patron goddess you can practice with her in order to gain levels and then you will get more stars each time you petition to her!

Hehe, thanks. :3 I just joined last week, I'm kinda surprised that I was able to put together such a nice avatar so soon. It helps that the stuff here isn't too expensive, and earning gold isn't all that difficult.
