"It's entirely possible... I mean, look at how many people were talking about us this morning and when I introduced myself in homeroom." Riku said before taking a bite of his lunch, a little surprised that his mom got the flavors right.

"They would have regardless. I don't have many friends and because I was in the same boat as you I had no one. Cliques already formed and it's hard to join. I have one friend but she wasn't in our class. So I"m not sure if I'll see her for a while. So anyone new who might befriend me would be an event. The loner makes a friend." She sighed, "Annoying if you want me to be honest. This is only going to make things worse until more information comes out on what actually happened.

"I see," Riku said before laughing just a little. "At least I'm not some boyfriend that you've been communicating overseas with or anything like that. Now that would have been gossip worthy," he replied with a grin. He then went back to eating his lunch in silence, having a feeling that she was now blushing up a storm.

"Yeah well. I wouldn't be surprised if people think that regardless. We had a friendly introduction, Could think we are hiding it." Kisara was blushing as he expected. She was looking down at her lunch as she ate more quickly.

Riku shrugged lightly at that as he took a sip of his drink, honestly not caring one way or the other on that regard. If she wanted to...evolve the relationship they had from friendship to boyfriend/girlfriend, then he would be open with it, but he wasn't going to bring it up again. "You mentioned that you had a friend?" he asked, not remembering her saying anything about that in the letters they wrote to each other.

"She's another second year like us. Miku Kimisha. She's a computer nerd is the easiest way to describe her. You can point her out in a crowded room with how she dresses." Kisara laughed softly.

"So when do I meet her?"

"Whenever she finds me." Kisara sighed, "She might have been running late and in another class for me not to have seen her yet."

"Fair enough" he replied before finishing his lunch and pulling out a book he had been reading between morning classes.

"How are you likiing it here? Kyoto is a beautiful place." Kisara just wanted ot make smalltalk while they finished up lunch. She wanted to read but at the same time she wanted to chat.

Riku closed the book, giving his friend his undivided attention. "Honestly I find it refreshing. It's nice to actually see people walking instead of just taking cars and whatnot. It's also nice to actually finally being able to meet you face-to-face instead of just writing you letters and/or e-mails over the years" he replied.

"It is nice. I did enjoy writing you. It gave me something to look forward too at home..." She said before her phone vibrated. Kisara pulled it out to see a text from Miku. "And you'll get to meet Miku here shortly."

"Oh?" he asked, curious.

"She just messaged me that she's on her way to the roof. She knows this is my spot and must be wanting to see me since we didn't get to talk for the last month." She smiled, "You'll like her. She's rather bubbly. A nice counter to my quiet."

"Well then, here's hoping I make another friend," he replied.

"I think you'll get along with her." Kisara smiled as the door opened to the roof.

"Kisara~" The girl called out as she made her way over to the two. "Sorry I missed you this morning, I overslept again." She laughed.

"As always Miku-chan... as always. Late night playing Starcraft 2 again?" She eyed her friend with a shake of the head.

"Nah... Not this time." She smiled before turning to Riku. "So you must be the infamous Riku I've heard so much about. Names Miku Kimisha. I'm the resident Otaku of the school."

Riku smirked before getting up and bowing dramatically. "The Riku Kenichi, at your service," he said with a grin. "The reason why our friend is currently the talk of the school," he said, albeit currently annoyed about that.

"Actually I've got news on that." She pulled out her smartphone and showed Kisara. "Gossip. Mostly about you and the room. I told you it was a dumb idea to do it." Miku sighed.

"I wanted to show I wasn't afraid of silly rumors." Kisara stated simply. "But... I already knew this was going to happen. And my interactions with Riku-kun haven't helped more rumors."

Miku nodded before putting her phone away, "Just a warning, The means clique of our school might try to pin the blame on you. I doubt they'd be that bad but I can play some damage control." Miku smirked.

"Why do I have a feeling that this is where the main character of an RPG asks 'what is it going to cost me?' right?" Riku asked calmly, clearly just teasing Miku.

"Well of course, I don't do work for free." She stated simply and very seriously before cracking a smirk.

Riku mirrored her smirk for a few minutes before laughing lightly at that. "Glad to hear that you have a sense of humor Miku-san"

"Have to around this stick in the mud." Miku motioned to Kisara. "But in all seriousness..." She looked at Kisara. "I've got your back, Leave the damage control to me."

Kisara smiled, "I appreciate it." She said before hearing the bell that signaled the need to return to class.

"True true," he said with a grin, knowing that Kisara knew they were both just teasing her. Hearing the bell for class to start up again, he sighed lightly. "Back to the cliques and the other idiots in the school..." he muttered.

The remainder of the school day flew by and before they knew it it was time to head home. Kisara stretched at her desk as the students filed from the room to head home. She looked behind her to Riku, "Hey, Have you seen around the city yet?" She asked, "I could show you around if you haven't."

"I'll gladly go on this date milady," Riku said with a grin. He just couldn't resist the tease there. Not only that but it was starting to get fun to see how easily he could make Kis-chan blush...
