Sophia didn’t feel neglected in the least! If anything she felt extremely happy that her supposed boyfriend didn’t spend that much time with her. She was a good actress but sometimes acting could only get a girl so far. If she’d had to spend every hour of everyday in this fools presence she’d…Well for a lack of a better word she’d snap. And when this little red head snapped, she snapped big time. Add being a insanely hungry, near starving vampire, even with the human blood she just wasn’t sated, and then add a few hundred years of bottled up rage and frustration and you had quite a dynamic explosion in your hands. Only in Sophia’s case she was saving it for when she found the person who’d turned her. She wasn’t looking for him today or even tomorrow but someday she was going to find that smug, over confident, appalling jerk and she was going to gut him like a pig, no she’d do worse! Oh oopsie she’d gone off on a bit of a tangent hadn’t she? Forcing herself to pull out of her satisfyingly violent thoughts she pushed herself back into her row of cuter than a kitten and sweeter than sugar Sophia Holland. Hearing Aito’s offer for help, Sophia gave him a sweet yet timid smile and shook her head a soft laugh escaping before she replied.”Non merci.” she murmured a soft confident smile on her lips a faint twinkle in her pretty hazel hued eyes as she watched Aito for his reaction. There was a pretty good chance of him knowing what she’d said but then again he was a boy. Boys tended to use their head for all the wrong reasons where as girls…well clearly females were the smarter gender. Always had been and always would be.

As Aito went on to talk about the movie, Sophia had to put all of her skills to use to hold in a bored yawn. Bleh movies, who needed them? In her opinion books were so much better. You didn’t have some overpaid pretty face staring out at you from the screen while heartlessly repeating lines. If she wanted to see someone act she’d much rather go to a theater-a real one- and see a play. But that was considered old fashioned in today’s day and age. Why would anyone want to see a bunch of nobodies up on a stage droning on about times and events gone by when they could just as easily watch some dumb action flick with terribly cheesy explosions? Or better yet, some horrible romance movie where nothing happened but a few heated kissing scenes? What ever had happened to the respect for great playwrights like William Shakespeare? Now that man new romance, heck he knew drama and tragedy and..well shortly put he knew more than some over paid, over glammed up scriptwriter did!

Sophia was drawn out of her thoughts by the horrid feeling of Aito’s lips pressing against her forehead. Forcing herself not to cringe and promptly jerk away she slapped a silly sweet grin on her face and made herself lean closer to Aito instead. Ewwww!!! Now she was going to have to go home and scrub that one spot until she felt somewhat clean. Actually the chances of that happening were zero to zero. Why couldn’t he have just kept his lips to himself?! Filthy demon, just for that when she finally killed him she was going to make it even more violent. She’d drain him dry of his precious blood and she’d cop him into pieces and set him on fire. Then when he was charred….no that wasn’t dirty enough, it certainly wasn’t painful enough. He didn’t deserve a peaceful death. He’d just kissed her forehead, that unwanted act of affection surely warranted some type of slap or smack right? Under normal circumstances it would but these weren’t normal circumstances so no she couldn’t lash out and give him a painful whack as much as she wanted to, so she didn’t. Instead she did her best to keep that sickening silly sweet grin on her face as she watched him scurry off to do his job. It wasn’t until his back was turned and his attention was fully focused that she let the smile slide off her face. Wincing slightly, she lifted a dainty hand gently rubbing her cheek muscles. She’d heard of people smiling so much their faces hurt but she’d never experienced it until now..eesh she was going to have to quit smiling so much, especially around Aito. If she spent all her smiles on him then she wouldn’t be able to make her act believable in front of his friends. Stretching slightly she relaxed back in her seat and turned her attention back to her book, not that she was actually reading it or studying for her French test. It was a prop, a very basic generic prop that fit her needs at the moment but sadly didn’t interest her one bit. Oh well it was all she had and unless she wanted to break her role of eager and excited ready to go on her big date sweet lovable little Sofia (talk about a mouthful!) she wouldn’t be running to the nearest bookstore or library to find something that interested her. So she didn’t.

For a while Sofia pretended to be reading and studying for her big French test. This just went to show what a good actress she was because she’d apparently made her focus and concentration believable. She wasn’t sure how long she’d sat there trying to let herself get immersed into the book that she’d brought but instead she couldn’t only feel her boredom and hunger increasing. Oh and lets not forget her anger. Seriously, why hadn’t she just jerked him into an alley when she’d first met him and drained him?! If she had then she wouldn’t be sitting her bored out of her mind and hungrier than any aging vampire should ever be. And she’d have all of her senses working at full power like they were supposed to. But no, she’d had to take the dramatic secretive approach…she’d had to play with her food before slaking her first. Well there went the theory that only fledgling vampires did this. She was far from being a fledgling and no where near being an elder and yet here she was screwing around with her food. Not a smart move. She’d just started fantasizing about how much easier thing swould have been if she’d just gone for the kill first then when she head Aito sit down. Without thought every muscle in her body tensed a wary expression ghosting across her face before she seemed to snap back into character. Predictably she hadn’t heard him coming and by the time she’d noticed it had been too late. Why did he have to be so quiet?! Couldn’t he stomp or drag his feet? Honestly. It wouldn’t kill him to do something to alert her to his presence! Honestly if he cared so much for his girlfriend one would think Aito would have done a bit more to make sure he didn’t scare her silly-not that’d he scared her…he’d just shocked her. Yea that was it. He’d just shocked her out of her blood thirsty thoughts…She was brought out of her excuse making thoughts (ok she’d admit it..he had scared her, but just a bit) by his low sigh. Oh no…it hadn’t been a loud sigh but it had definitely been noticeable-go figure she couldn’t notice him walking up to her but she had no problem what so ever picking up a sigh. Sofia wanted to groan, she didn’t want to ask what was wrong, she didn’t want to ask about the text, really she just wanted her blood! She’d gone above and beyond to get it couldn’t the big man upstairs throw her a bone or better yet a blood bag?! Despite her frustrations and mild desperation though…Sofia still went ahead and did it. She gave him a soft concerned smile as she lifted a hand to brush her hair out of her face before speaking up. ” Is everything ok?” she murmured softly a look of obvious concern on her face. Ugh maybe she shouldn’t have said everything. She should have just asked him about his mom and got it over with. Damn her wording! Biting back a sigh of her own she kept the look of sweet concern on her face as she waited for his-no doubt- long winded reply.
