“Sounds fun.”

Cross grinned, reverting back to her normal self as the sai disappeared back into where it had appeared from. She turned her eyes back to Tsuna, “I’ll definitely get him into shape.” A gleam appeared in her eyes, “Oh and art too. I might not know much about the history, but it’ll be fun teaching you about the different styles.” Then she tilted her head slightly, smiling at her sister, “At least you get to teach him assassination skills, that’s always been fun for you hasn’t it?”

Of course she completely ignored Tsuna’s opinion on the matter and pouted when she heard Reborn, “Ew. School.” Then she glanced at the clueless Yamamoto, the out-cold Tsuna, and the now muttering and still glaring Gokudera. She sighed and ran a hand through her hair, pushing the bangs back, “I suppose it can’t be helped.”

“What’s that supposed to mean?!” Gokudera finally snapped. Cross frowned and turned her attention lazily to the bomb specialist, “What’s what supposed to mean?”

“I don’t want some girl teaching me! Especially one younger than me!”

“I dare you to say that again.” Cross growled, surprisingly quick on her feet and already pressing the side of one of her zai to his throat. He scowled at her but was smart enough to keep his mouth shut. “Didn’t think so.”

She promptly turned around and walked back over to Yamamoto’s side, engaging him in conversation about his hobbies, after all, if you’re going to teach somebody, it would be best to know something about them.

"Oh yea, Sonya-nee, when are we leaving? I wanna sleep."

Sonya wasn't too pleased when she heard Gokudera's comment about not wanting to be taught by women. She would have used a much more sinisiter way to let the silver-haired teen know not to underestimate them, but Cross got to him first. "If that's everything we need to know, then we should go." She stated when she heard her younger sister say she was tired. As she got up from her seat, Tsuna finally came to.

"Ow..." He mumbled. Looking up, he locked eyes with the standing blond. Brown went into red for a split second. But that split second, he saw something even as she turned to look away. A hint of sadness in those striking red eyes...

"We will be seeing you tomorrow then 10th." Sonya announced, apparently not aware of the curiousity Tsuna had when he saw her. She also made no move to say farewell to Gokudera and Yamamoto as she walked out. Tsuna quickly glanced into Cross' matching eyes to see if he'd see the same thing that he saw in her older sister.

A small smile appeared on Cross' lips as she stood up fluidly. She moved her hand as if to fix her hat and in the process swiped her bangs back over her eyes so that they couldn't be seen. No point in bothering the tenth with personal problems after all. A small sigh escaped her lips and she leaned forward to press a light kiss to Yamamoto's cheek, "You're a sweet boy you know that?" She asked in her normal happy tone. Yamamoto laughed and scratched at the back of his head, "Thanks, I get that a lot." She nodded and turned to Tsuna, inclining er head somewhat, "Later tenth." She grinned and then crouched down to hug Reborn, sometimes she just couldn't resist. A second later she hopped back up and turned to leave.

Cross paused in the doorway and turned her head to the final occupant of the room, "Mou...I suppose I'll see you later too Stupidera-kun."

She dodged the flying dynamite nimbly and practically danced to her sister's side. She was tempted to take her sister's hand, as she used to do when they were younger and her eyes even darted to Sonya's hand but she refrained, stuffing her hands into her pocket instead. She walked down the stairs like a normal person and said goodbye to Tsuna's mother. "Thank you for having us over Sawada-san." She politely declined the invitation to stay for dinner and pulled her shoes on swiftly with one hand before turning back so that her sister could lead the way.

Sonya nodded at Tsuna's mother as well while the two sisters walked out of the house. "Our home is only a few houses down." She announced once they stepped past the gates of the Sawada home, "And if that taxi driver read the directions I slipped into the wad of money I gave him, our stuff would already be inside as well." If he didn't, well she'd make sure she'd find the man who couldn't follow simple directions.

After a couple of steps down the empty road Sonya asked aloud after taking a quick glance around her, "What do you make of the growing Vongola family Cross?"

"It's fun~" She replied, walking in front of her sister and twirling around aimlessly as she walked. She played the part of detached teenager quite well. She didn't really care if someone saw her now anyway. "I mean, there's new people, and...mm...I don't know how to explain it." She stopped walking momentarily and then started forward again, walking backwards so that she could see her sister, "What about you? What do you think about them?"

"Nothing remotely unique stands out in all of them, well except Stupidera's hair." Sonya had stifled her laughter when she heard Cross' insult to the boy and still found it funny, "I don't expect much from their first day." After a few more minutes, Sonya saw the house that was to be their home for their stay in Namimori. She pointed it out to Cross while pulling out her keys. She went over to the small gate and unlocked it. She walked to the door and repeated the process, this time holding the door for her sister.

While waiting for her sister to go through, Sonya looked around the house. It was a small two-story home which she knew to contain of a living room, kitchen, two bedrooms and two bathrooms. As expected, it was already completely furnished. The blond caught a glimpse of a note sitting on the side table near the door. After a quick read through, she saw that someone from the family had put their things away when the taxi driver dropped off their things. She smiled to herself, happy to have found someone reliable and making a mental note to try and find that man again. The two might need a chauffeur during their stay.

Cross stepped past her sister, still giggling slightly at the fact that she'd used the nickname Cross had dubbed Gokudera with. She stretched as she stepped into the house, stooping to take her shoes off and place them to the side. She glanced around a bit and then sat down promptly on the floor, covering her mouth with a hand as she yawned. "I suppose I should take a shower before I take a nap..." She mused, leaning against the wall. Her eyes darted to a clock sitting on a shelf ans she carefully got back up, "Mm...we start school tomorrow neh?" She waited for her sister's answer before shrugging and going up to the second floor. She grabbed a change of clothes from her closet and stepped into her bathroom. She'd take a look around later, for now, her muscles could really use a bubble bath...

Sonya followed her inside and locked the door behind her. "Yes, 7:30 AM sharp." She answered Cross' question. The blond watched her go up to find her room and take a bath. Knowing that she would find her room immediately, Sonya didn't need to direct her around their new home. She crossed the living room and over to the stocked kitchen. She went straight for the cabniet and pulled out some coffee beans. At 14, she was already an avid coffee drinker. Late nights of working and assassinations made her addicted to the stuff. And addiction led to obsession, which led her to become quite the barista in the kitchen.

After a few minutes of preparing a simple cup of cappuchino, Sonya finally sat down and let out a sigh of relaxation. She looked around the comfortable living room as she sipped her drink. It seemed so peaceful, this entire place. It was a completely different life than the one she had lived just yesterday. She smiled to herself and took another sip of her drink. This was something she could get used to.

After finishing her bath Cross exited her room with a towel draped over her shoulders to prevent her hair from getting her clothes wet. The scent of cappuccino's greeted her as she descended the staircase and she poked her head into the living room to see her sister curled up with a cup clasped in her hands. She shook her head, she could never understand how anyone could drink that stuff. She herself was a fan of tea. Which for some reason people found weird.

She pulled her head back after a while and headed for the kitchen, she was a bit hungry...and tea sounded good right about now anyway.

((I thought you didn't like me anymore!!! Oh, and time skips are fun.))

Sonya saw Cross descending the stairs and almost immediately went into big sister mode. "Let me get you some dinner." She said, mentally deciding that she would also start on their lunches for tomorrow. Now that she thought about it, tomorrow was a big day....

-Next Morning-

The blond teen was already up at the crack of dawn, taking her time getting ready for school. Through unknown, but not suspicious circumstances, a pair of uniforms were already set for the sisters. As Sonya got hers on after her quick shower, she felt a tinge of disgust knowing that her individuality in clothing tastes had to be constricted. Easing a bit of her pain, she substituted her ridiculous bow for a skinny tie of the same color. She also decided to wear designer Italian-made pumps instead of those god awful Mary-Janes. Once she got her hair up in a stylish bun and had on some clearly expensive studded earrings, Sonya made her way downstairs to start on breakfast.

((aww...why wouldn't I like you? I just lose track of time and life does get in the way every so often, I won't dislike people without a reason ^^
oh and I forgot if I mentioned how long Cross' hair was so whatever I put here will be the length ^^))

Cross smiled happily, Sonya's dinners were always the best. The only thing that dampened her mood was the upcoming day. Cross pulled a face as she ate, school...ugh.

~Morning time

Cross was already up and working away on her laptop by the time her alarm clock rang. She didn't even spare it a glance as she threw the loud thing out her open window. A thud emanating from the window told her she had hit something. Oh well, not her problem. She clicked a few more keys before sighing and turning her laptop off and placing it to the side. She stood up after that and stretched her limbs. A hand shot up to cover her yawn as she ambled into the adjoining bathroom to brush her teeth and take a quick shower.

When she was done she came back out with her hair wrapped in a towel, dressed in the black slacks and white collared shirt of the Namimori Boy's uniform. She untied the towel and threw it across her futon before returning to the bathroom to blow-dry and style her hair. She emerged a few minutes later, hair dry. She had swept her bangs over her left eye and spiked up some of her hair in the back, going for a boyish look. She slipped her glasses back onto her face and grinned at her reflection, she'd pass as a guy...a really feminine guy at least. Another yawn slipped past her lips as she retrieved a black tie from her closet and tied it loosely around her neck. She gave the blazer that went over the entire ensemble a frown and then tossed it onto the chair in front of her desk. She didn't need that. She picked up her messenger bag and draped the strap over one shoulder, holding her shoes in her other hand. Giving her room a final once over she finally left and headed down the stairs.

"Ohayou Sonya-nee~" She greeted, somewhat sleepily as she walked into the kitchen to see her sister preparing breakfast. She placed her things to the side before moving over to the jewelry box she had taken to leaving in the kitchen for some reason. From it she extracted a pair of cross earrings, which she slipped on, carefully slipping the cartilage piercing in, she'd rushed it once...definitely a bad idea. Then she pulled out an assortment of black and red jeweled studs to fill in the rest of the piercings on her left ear.

After that was done she slipped a cubic cross necklace on around her neck and hid it under her shirt. Done. She brushed her slightly longer than shoulder length hair back over her shoulder, marveling at how the highlights caught the light before moving back to her sister's side to look over her shoulder again.

"What do you think the school's like? Are we going to be in the same class? Do I really have to go? What if they don't like me? I wonder if I'll be able to make friends now?"

Her nervous habit was coming through finally. She could hide it well enough when other people were around, but with her sister it was a completely different matter. She glanced back at the food, "Can I help with anything? Are we walking to school? Oh that smells nice...." She trailed off then almost immediately started banging her head against the wall, "Stupid...nerves..."

"Stop banging your head against the wall and breathe Cross." Sonya said, not looking up from the eggs she was frying in a pan, "Your tea is waiting for you in your seat." After saying this, she grabbed a spatula and moved the steaming eggs into a plate next to her. She went ahead and placed the plate on the table already consisting two plates, silverware, and a plate of bacon. Finished with that task, Sonya went on to getting the toast out of the toaster, all the while answering all of Cross' frantic questions.

"School might end up being fun. I've made sure we stay in the same class as the 10th and the others. Yes, you have to go. It might do you some good. Who cares if people don't like you? Besides, you'll always find someone whose willing to be friends with you." She took a breath as she pulled out two pieces of toast out, "I'm finished, so don't worry. No, we aren't walking to school. I'm hiring that taxi driver as our temporary chaffeur for our stay here." She smiled, glad that the man took the job when he learned that he wouldn't be driving his old cab any longer and for a better pay than his taxi company. She brought the toast to the table and went over to get her coffee before finally sitting down.

"Now hurry, he'll be here in 15 minutes."

“Hai hai…” Cross rubbed at her head softly as she sat down, grinning like an idiot when she saw her tea. She pulled the cup closer to herself and breathed in deeply, “mm…smells great…” Then she watched as Sonya set the table and listened carefully as she answered all of the hurried questions that had previously spouted out of Cross’ mouth.

When Sonya was done, Cross clasped her hands together and said her thanks before placing some eggs and bacon onto her plate and picking up a piece of toast, which she immediately bit into, chewing noiselessly. After swallowing she grinned again, “What’s he gonna be picking us up in?” After the reply Cross nodded and picked up her fork to start working on her eggs and bacon.

“I’ll make breakfast tomorrow~” She said, taking a sip of her tea before sighing with satisfaction. Then she picked up her plates and utensils before depositing them in the sink. “Oh!” She pulled open one of the nearby drawers and withdrew her sai from its depths, “Can’t forget these.” She slipped them away somewhere on her person before turning to her sister again.

Sonya ate her toast, bacon, and eggs seperately, but just as quickly as Cross. Once she was done, she sipped the rest of her coffee before placing the dishes into the sink. She made a mental note to wash them when they got back home. "I'm not sure what car he'll be using." The blond replied as she watched her sister grab her beloved sai from one of the drawers, "He was given a lot of money, so it must be something nice. And I'm holding you on that promise for breakfast tomorrow." The honk of a horn indicated their new chaffeur was outside. Sonya made her way to the door, but stopped short right as she was about to put on her black pumps.

"Wait." Remembering she too did not have her weapon on her, she turned back to the drawers where Cross had gotten her blade. She pulled open a drawer and took out a six inch long steel stick. It shone under the lights, intensifying the golden phoenix carved into the metal. A small smiled appeared on her lips as she placed her weapon somewhere safe. "Alright, let's go." Sonya announced, striding towards the door to get her heels on.

Cross nodded, "Of course, otherwise I wouldn't have offered." She then slipped her shoes on and opened the front door, waiting for her sister to pass her before closing the door and locking it. She tucked her keys away in some hidden pocket of her bag and then yawned as she blinked quickly at the sudden brightness of the morning sun.

She remembered that she was wearing the boy's uniform and so quickly adopted to a more masculine persona, walking instead of her normal half-skipping half-gliding thing. Though of course, she and her sister looked quite graceful no matter what they were doing. Many years of training did that to a person... She slid one hand into a pocket, the other one fiddling with a trinket she had taken with her before they'd left the house. She only took her eyes off of it to nod in acknowledgment to their new chauffeur before going back to fiddling, ducking her head to slide easily into the blackish-silver Porsche.

Sonya gave the ex-taxi driver a quick look over before nodding. No more was that drabby old coat and stained T-shirt of his. He was dressed in a fine tuxedo that the teen guessed was Italian. Good choice. When she turned to see that the car he had chosen was a Porsche, her thought of him grew even higher. Looks like she was right in picking this man for the job after all. She dipped her blond head down as she stepped into the vehicle, fixing her skirt a bit before turning to watch her sister jump in.

The blond watched Cross' steps and just chuckled softly while shaking her head. What was Cross doing? Sure, it was normal to see the black-and-red haired girl drape her skinny, athletic body in more masculine clothes. But it was always a hoot to see her try and act what her clothes portrayed. Face it; she couldn't hide her fluid, feminine steps as much as a peacock trying to hide its colorful feathers. Once her sister was on board, the chauffeur quickly closed the door behind her and made his way to the front. Moments later, he was inside and the car was speeding away towards Namimori Middle School.

"Ara...." Cross blinked lazily up at the school building, smiling slightly at the breeze that blew past, "What a pretty school building..." She turned and grinned at her sister, "It's all nice and clean." Another yawn slipped past her lips and her hand shot up to cover her mouth. Really...waking up early again and having to go to school...she wouldn't be surprised if she fell asleep in class. Cross and Sonya had had home tutors for a while...a long while. Being involved with the mafia and such didn't offer much time to go to public schools, especially when you were considered some of the best of the best.

"So where to first Sonya-nee?"

"To the office before making our way to our classroom." Sonya replied as she opened the door. She stepped out, ignoring the stares they were getting from both male and female students. She waited patiently for her sister to step out then turned for the school. All the while, her face was a perfect, emotionless mask; a small trick she had learned over the years of being watched. Though this time, she didn't need to worry about the eyes of mafia bosses but rather peers of her own age. This change did not cool down her icy exterior.

Hibari Kyoya watched the students of Namimori Middle arrive to campus from the window of the Reception Room, just like he did every day. His slanted eyes were unwavering, even when he saw a black Porsche drive up in front of the school. Two students walked out of the expensive vehicle and were heading inside. Any other person looking down from a third floor window would assume the new students were a boy and a girl. But Hibari's sharp eyes did not miss the feminine features on both transfer students. He would have to figure who the girl wearing the boys' uniform was. Whether new or not, she was violating an obvious school rule.

Tsuna's jaw would not close. He was a few feet away from the school gates with Gokudera and Yamamoto when a black sports car whizzed past them, stopping in front of the school. The unwilling Mafia boss had an idea who was riding it, but he still hoped it wasn't them. Sadly, the two sisters he did not want to see stepped out of the shiny car. And if he thought they couldn't bring any more attention to themselves... they did with their eccentric clothing options, especially Cross. 'Please don't let them see me...' He prayed, not wanting to face the scary siblings again.

"I feel....like someone's glaring at me..." Cross mumbled, turning her head slightly to survey the student body that had stopped to stare at the shiny sports car had stopped. Then she spotted Tsuna, Yamamoto, and Stupidera. A smirk appeared on her lips, "Oooh fun." she mumbled before quickly walking over to the boys, "Look at whose here Sonya-nee." She called over her shoulder.

Gokudera irked when he saw one of the sisters from yesterday, she seemed to be with a guy that looked vaguely familiar... "Hey there Yamamoto-kun!" Cross called out, lifting a hand in a sort of half wave. Yamamoto said a greeting in return, "Hey....say...do I know you from somewhere?" Cross lifted an eyebrow and tapped her chin, "But I was just talking to you yesterday..." She looked down at her clothes and blanked before looking back up at Yamamoto, "Maa, Yamamoto-kun, I'm just wearing guy clothes is all. It's me, Cross~" Yamamoto's unfailing grin spread across his face again, "Oh yea! Why're you wearing the guy's uniform anyway Cross?"

"Cause I can~"

Sonya looked back when her sister called her and saw Cross walking over to Tsuna, Gokudera, and Yamamoto. She spun on her heel and also made her way towards them, catching the short conversation about Cross' gender mix-up. Tsuna, seeing as he couldn't avoid the sisters any longer, asked the younger sister a question. "Isn't that against school rules?" "We'll find a way around it as always." Sonya replied once she got closer to them. She caught sight of the silver-haired boy's annoyed glare and tried to stifle her smirk. Sadly, she wasn't trying very hard.

"Would you be so kind to show us to the main office 10th?" She decided to ask, just to push more of Gokudera's buttons. Sonya had a feeling that annoying the Hurricane Bomber would end up become a favored pastime of hers.

"Well...it might be. We haven't actually heard or read any of the rules yet. It's not like they gave us a rulebook...I think we're supposed to go see the principal actually..." The last part came out mumbled as Cross contemplated Tsuna's question. She watched with an amused twinkle in her eyes as Gokudera struggled to keep him temper down. She doubted that he would be able to.

"Don't ask Juudaime to do such menial tasks!"

"Oooh, Sonya-nee did you hear that? Stupidera used a 'smart' word!" Cross exclaimed in an obviously fake surprised tone. "Hey why not? We have time don't we Tsuna?" Yamamoto asked, not understanding what was going on but it seemed like fun at any rate to him.

"My, what a surprise to know that the 10th Vongola boss's right hand man is somewhat adequate!" Sonya replied in an equally faux surprised tone, relishing the pissed off look on Gokudera's face. "Yeah we do. We can show you to the principal's office." Tsuna suddenly announced, deciding it was better to help the girls instead of letting them anger Gokudera to a point where he'd start pulling out dynamite, "Um, follow me." He started for the school again, hoping that after this he wouldn't have to deal with the Target Sisters until after school.

Sonya gave another smirk to the silver-haired boy before turning to follow the short Mafia-boss-to-be. The day was starting out wonderfully for her and Cross and the first bell hadn't even rung yet.

A wicked grin split Cross' face before she fell into step beside the much taller Yamamoto talking aimlessly about whatever popped into mind with him. Gokudera was left standing alone grumbling under his breath until he realised they had left without him and gave chase, yelling at the sisters to stay away from his "beloved Juudaime".

"It's wonderful to have two such...wonderful students transferring into our school." Cross twitched slightly as the principal continued speaking. That guy seriously needed to get a thesaurus, that had to be the thousandth time he'd used the word 'wonderful' in the past five minutes. He had already given the two sisters their lockers and copies of the rules, now all that was left was to introduce them to the head of the disciplinary committee apparently and then they would be free to go to class. Cross' eyes wandered back out the window as the old man continued to drone on and on, how annoying it was to be cooped up in a school building...no matter how nice the school looked a school was still a school.

Sonya was equally annoyed with the old man's speech but hid it better than her younger sister. She quickly glanced at the clock and saw they were already fifteen minutes late for class. Oh how the blond hated not being punctual. And it was the fault of this disciplinary committee head. Sonya had to end this, now. "We are delighted that you accepted us with open arms." Sonya hurriedly said after the old principal took a breath, "But seeing as its already this late, I think it would be best that the two of us get to class and meet the head of the disciplinary committee later on." Right when she said this, the door to the principal's slid open. Sonya looked back and saw a black-haired boy in a Namimori uniform walk in. She noticed a red band hanging from his left arm that read 'Disciplinary Committee'.

"I'm here." He announced as he stepped into the room. Almost immediately did Sonya feel a strong, deadly aura emanating from the boy. The same kind of aura she and Cross had whenever they were on a mission. It was the aura of a hitman. But how?

"Ah, good of you to show up Hibari-san!" The old principal exclaimed cheerfully even though beads of sweat were dripping down his forehead, "These are the Nakamura sisters. They are exchange students from Italy." Hibari turned his sharp eyes towards the two, focusing more on the black-haired girl wearing the boys' uniform.

"You, change." He ordered, "Wearing the boys' uniform instead of the girls' is a violation of school rules. And take off your jewelry. That's another violation." Sonya covered her mouth, looking like she was in shock. Truthfully, she was hiding her smile. If there was one thing she knew about Cross it was to never tell her to take off her jewelry. She wondered how she would respond and expected something good out of that sassy little mouth of hers.

"Hmmm...?" The aura that had filled the room as soon as the male had stepped in was quite impressive Cross had to admit. But that tone he used with her...cheh, really, now that was just degrading. Now how to reply? She stood up from her seat, leveling her gaze with this 'Hibari-san''s. "What? You want me to change?" A dangerous glint appeared in her eyes and she took a few steps forward so that she was standing directly in front of the male. Then her hand reached up for her own tie, which she pulled off slowly, keeping her gaze on the dark haired male's. She draped the piece of cloth carefully onto her previously occupied chair, smirking slightly at her sister before she started to unbutton her top. She wasn't stupid of course, she was wearing a black tank-top underneath but nobody besides her sister knew that anyway.

The poor principal. He started sweating even more, a dark blush covering his face, "N-Nakamura-san! P-please!" Cross stopped the process of unbuttoning her shirt and tilted her head, "Mou, I was just following orders..."

((ah, I couldn't resist ^^))
