Mirror Sight: Diamond is able to look into any reflective surface, whether it be her mirror, or another and call upon another reflective surface. This allows her to see things from across the world, or communicate with people, as long as they are within range of a reflective surface.

Mirror Walking: She is able to use any reflective surface, sort of like a portal, able to move through them into the mirror world, and out through another. Actual mirrors are the easiest to move through for her, while the less easily reflective a surface gets, the harder it becomes.

Shards: She is able to summon little glass shards, either through her mirror, or by shattering reflective surfaces around her. She can manipulate these glass shards however she likes. Whether to make constructs, such as wings or a person, or as weapons themselves. When one of her constructs is destroyed, it shatters like glass, into these little fragments.

Mirror World: Her main power, comes from the world of reflection, otherwise known as the world through the mirror. She is able to walk around within it, such as with her mirror walking, but inside of this world, she can manipulate reality itself. She is able to take people with her, even trap people within the mirror world itself. This is done because she is able to take anyone she is physically touching in and out of the mirror world with her.

Truth: Diamond is able to create a copy of anything she sees out of her shards, including people. She is able to use this power when someone is facing this copy or "reflection" of themselves, or when they are looking into a mirror, and she is close enough (in the normal or mirror world) to see them looking at their reflection. Using this power, the reflection will begin talking to the original. Most of the time they think it is in their head, since only Diamond and them can see it. These reflections are unable to lie, so they will begin speaking truths about the person, whether it be things they do not want to hear or things they are hiding. In many cases, since the lies are something the original is trying to keep hidden, the reflection will come off as rude, dark or angry, seeming to attack them with the truth. Others however, seem sad and depressed. It varies, depending on the person.

✛ Weapon: Mirror

✛ Personality:Diamond is a beautiful woman, both inside and out. She has a good heart, kind and warm to the world around her. However, Diamond is not without her edge, keeping up with her title of being the hardest gem, able to cut like a blade. She has a quick wit, and a quick mouth, though she does keep an eye on what she says and how she says it. She is often calm and level headed, focused on whatever task she has. She hates the image of women being only looked at for their beauty, or seen as damsels in distress. A smart and independent woman, she fights to show that any woman is just as good as a man. She has a strong will, though at the same time, can be fragile. A loyal and faithful friend, she is often sought out to be spoken to or confided in by others.

She has her own way of looking at things, and prides herself in being able to see the world and people from multiple angles. She loves to sing, as well as read and is typically more calm, enjoying simple and more natural things, to the big and fancy. She does have a sense of humor, which is shown often through her wit. She refrains from tainting herself with anything vulgar, such as speech. She can be a bit stern and old fashioned, slightly mother like to the other guardians. She does it out of love and caring for them, but also understands they must find their own path, just like her. She if often flexible in the sense that she is willing to try new things, to branch out and explore new possibilities. Often, she can be a contradiction of herself, having many sides, just like that of the Diamond she is named for.

✛ Biography: Diamond was known throughout the land, as the beauty of the guardians. She was the Aphrodite of them, rivaled in her looks by none. She was attempted to be courted by both male guardians, as well as humans, but always seemed to slip from their grasp. A smart and independent woman, she had little trouble holding the burden tasked to her. She helped to guide people with her kindness as well as her strength, but always secretly wished for more. She sought to make a name for herself, besides just one of beauty. She sought to put the images of a damsel in distress to rest, and show that a female was able to take on the world just as well as any man. In this sense, she seemed to clash in personality to certain others who crossed her path, but she always tried to greet the world with humility and kindness.

When the original darkness rose, Diamond was one of the first to stand up to it, placing herself in between humanity and those who wished to harm it. She took on a natural role of a leader, keeping up with her motherly side to her personality. She fought alongside her fellow guardians, seeing the task as one that needed to be carried out for the better of the world. However, she did not enjoy erraticating any life, whether it be dark or not. Life having always been precious to her. She knew that she had to stand by the people and her friends. When the world began to evolve more and more around them, Diamond found herself often keeping more to the traditional ways. She preferred things simple, like they had always been, while others began wanting bigger and more.

When the idea came around to slip into a slumber, Diamond was one of those who refused the idea at first. They had been given an important job, she refused to give up and simply step aside. However, she understood what the others were getting at, as they all slowly began to reach an agreement. She trusted the people to lead themselves, praying that they would be safe, and be able to find a path that would lead them to happiness. Falling into her slumber, she took the form of a Diamond, originally resting in the same place as the others. Over time though, as with many of the others, her stone found its way around the world and into different situations, with Diamond sleeping peacefully. Now modern day however, she has awoken from her slumber.

Supernatural Strength: Ability to lift mountainous amounts of weight, and can crush the things around her like mere chalk.

Heightened Speed: While she isn't lightning-quick, Garnet has more speed and endurance than others. She is able to run without tiring, for example.

Damage Absorption: She can take the hits and keep coming, and is rarely wounded enough to give up the fight.

Sickness and Poison Resistance: No disease or weakening sickness are able to harm her.

Force: This ability is the only one that she can project. "Force" is more of a shout that will carry someone backward with a semi-shock wave.

✛ Weapon: Iron Fists / Gauntlets

✛ Personality: Garnet favors action over words. She isn't very diplomatic, and is always restless. The plus side of this: she's protective. She is fiercely devoted to protecting the other guardians and the very cause they fight for.

While Garnet readily reacts with violence, she cannot be tempted away from her cause. Fighting the dark is all she can think of doing, and is not interested in learning how the humans work or think. She works hard to curve her reaction to the lesser beings (she thinks they're worth protecting, but useless on their own).

✛ Biography: Being a guardian was everything to Garnet. She trained - with everything. Her life became devoted to becoming stronger, faster, better. It was nearly a relief to wake up and find darkness in the world.

Before the guardians had been put to sleep, Garnet had fought against the choice. Sleeping meant she would lose skill, that she wouldn't have time to fight. What kind of guardians were they if they left the world to their own devices? Weren't the others aware that all things spiraled into chaos when left to their own devices?

Being one of the louder protesters didn't gain her any plus points, nor did Garnet's brash personality. She lashed out at a few of the other guardians in anger, but before she caused any serious harm she consented to the choice to sleep.

In the future, it will be easy to blame her for many incidents. Her fiery behavior and instant reactions result in catastrophic scenes.

Now that she's awoken, Garnet is excited about the chance to test her skill again.

Presence: He has the natural that his presence can corrupt those around him. To bring out the darkness within people. He can surpress this at will.

Senses: His natural senses are heightened like an animals.

Strength: His strength is inhuman in levels as well, giving him an upper hand in purely physical situations, rivaled only for the most part by Garnet of the twelve.

Change: Bazel has a unique power, in order to escape from situations. He is able to break his body apart, either into a series of black feathers, which will then scatter across the wind. Or he is able to transform himself into a Raven and fly away. It is guessed, that the raven is the only current form he is prone to taking. At the same time, by releasing the chaotic energy within him, his body will take on a slightly more feral appearance. He gains the white ears and several white tails like that of a fox. His nails lengthen and sharpen, turning black in color. His canines lengthen and sharpen as well. His eyes go from their natural red to a animal like piercing yellow that seems to glow in the darkness.

Chaos Energy: Bazel has the ability of chaos energy manipulation. He feeds off the darker feelings of people and the chaos around him. In this way, he is able to transform this into actual energy and force. He can store it within his body to enhance himself, or release it in blasts or summon orbs of it that can be used in various ways. They give off a purple glow, and often the energy appears as a black and purple in color that is constantly shifting. They can be used as bombs, as lights, as shields and more.

Corruption: His other ability is Infection or Corruption. His body naturally makes a poison, that is within his blood, and is also able to be coupled with his energy if desired. He is able to use this poison within his body to infect other things. This infection in turn corrupts the host, twisting and mutating them into a darker form. He is able to then command these twisted creatures as his own puppets. The poison affects living things differently than non living things. Living things will become these creatures, while non living things will begin to decay or break down, as the poison eats away at it. Typically, things with simple minds, such as plants or some animals, are far easier to bend to his will. Things that are more advanced mental wised, become harder to control. The longer one is exposed to this corruption and his poision, the more lasting effects it could have. Some could simply experience dizziness or memory loss after. Prolongued exposure could affect mental state or worse. Only he can remove the poision, or stop the effects.


✛ Weapon: Yin and Yang blades.

✛ Personality:Bazel is smart and powerful, in both actual power and personality. His natural presence commands respect, and he holds himself with confidence and strength. He can be the colder and more silent type, not one to open up much or let others in. But at times can contradict that, by being wild and unpredictable. He is strong willed, not one to give up easily, especially in a fight. However, he is smart enough to know when to back down, and when to pull his hand. He is not a total monster, though he does have the darker and more aggressive side that many of the darkness have. He at times can oddly be known to show a more compassionate or kinder side. Though it is like walking a knife's edge with this. Crossing him or betraying him is not taken kindly, he has no respect or kindness for people who do so. He has the potential to be completely merciless and cold when he wants to be, voiding himself of all feeling, except for the pure darkness that is believed to be the basis of the very darkness he fights for.

Bazel is a mystery to most, even his own kind. He seems to have a curiosity for humans and for the guardians, and has an interest in pushing them to their limits, to see what they are capable of. Although he can speak in riddles at times, Bazel is often more direct and blunt with his words. He is not used to more human or petty emotions really, so he can find them either annoying or curious. Even for a member of darkness, Bazel has an intimidating natural presence and appearance. Many believe him to be standoffish or hard to approach. It is not unusual to find people who would call him arrogant or assume he thinks he is better than everyone else. This is not true, not overly so however, that he does not know what he is capable of. Often times, he is mostly an honest guy, seeing little reason to lie. He enjoys a good mystery, a good game and challenge. Hard to pin down, he finds it hard to sit still at times, especially when action is going on around him. He desires to see the world and corruption for himself.

✛ Biography: Bazel is believed to have originated from the shadow of the original being. The darkness suppressed within him, when he created the world. It is believed that he stood as the darkness within the great being, that was kept at bay from the light of the twelve being one. When the original being split however, he was released from their hold. No one of the twelce could hold him on their own. He escaped into the world they became bound to protect, and began to change the world for the worse, corrupting the natural world and people around him. As he did so, he grew more powerful, and gained more followers. His power growing so much, that over time, the twelve became aware of his presence within the world. They underestimated him, in believing that he was merely a darkness born of the world.

They managed to take down many of his followers, which he expected, since the world was still young, people had a long way to go. When the twelve stood together, strengthening each other, he became aware that united, they still possessed enough power to keep him at bay, as the original had done. As individuals now however, they were not above corruption and being turned, so his plans began to change. It may have looked like he accomplished little on the surface, the twelve refusing to give in, but he was aware his plans might take a long time turn. In order to gain such time, and to avoid being destroyed altogether, he allowed the twelve to believe they had defeated him. Faking his own demise. From there, all he had to do was wait, building his own power, and allowing the world to evolve. He dabbled in spreading darkness as he waited, but not enough to call attention to himself once more. When the twelve decided to go into slumber, he seized the opportunity to begin his own conquest. He began sinking his teeth into the world stronger than before.

He found humans easier to corrupt than many other beings. At the same time, he worked on creating more beings of darkness. Whether by corrupted humans, animals, or other means. As the world evolved, so did he, he was able to learn and grow, placing people under his rule, in positions of power within the world. That they would be able to be of use within the later world. He himself began a company, which kept in touch with all of these other businesses and beings, managing them like a brain. As the darkness took more of a hold, he became aware that the twelve were beginning to wake. Fortunately, not all of them at once, one by one. He had kept an eye out for them, and on their relative locations. As long as they did not threaten him, watching for the moment was all he did. Though at times, they stepped in his way, and a few clashes ensued. His plans and goals have been what they were before, to liberate the world into darkness. If he was able to drag the twelve down with him, he would be happy with that as well.

Healing: Pearl has the ability to heal wounds, sickness, and poison. This takes form in the soft, pearly white his touch radiates.

Calming Touch: Emotions calm at his touch - and on occasion, when he's in the room he will try to influence multiple people.

Empathy: When he heals others, Pearl feels their emotions. It is a link between them that can't be described.

Pain Transfer: Pearl is able to transfer the pain from one person to another. Often, he takes on part of someone's pain to make it more bearable. If necessary, he can do the opposite ... though his nature is to heal, not harm.

✛ Weapon: Bow and Arrow

✛ Personality: Pearl is known to be led by his emotions. While that can lead to insight in various situations, it also means his loyalties are easily swayed. Pearl was commonly known as a kind person, someone to turn to for comfort.

As he heals others, he feels their emotions. This has led him to various reactions that don't fit with his own personality, but often the other guardians are there to steady him once again. Above all else, Pearl favors life.

Pearl was once soothing, gentle-hearted, and caring. Now, he has a bitter touch. Even his healing isn't as calming as it once was. There is spite, bitterness, and pain in everything he does.

✛ Biography: Pearl was once a very uncertain piece to the guardians. He wanted others to be healed and feel no pain, but his very nature was known to waver. After healing others, Pearl would seclude himself in order to regain a proper sense of mind.

His abilities became more potent as darkness attacked. It was during those times when his emotions seemed to fill with the darkness itself - after healing others his mind was tainted with fear, with hatred, with pain. It was growing difficult to manage when he began to look up to Diamond. He sought her help, using her steady nature to steady himself. Diamond helped him see the good in others, even as he healed them. With her, Pearl learned his desire to protect others instead of dread healing them.

There were always those he couldn't save. It was Diamond that heard his usually hidden reactions, and for a while he learned how to curve his volatile spirit. While he never addressed it, Pearl truly admired Diamond. Unwilling to be one of the unending stream of people who pursued the beauty, Pearl pushed hsi feelings aside and never addressed it.

He was neutral on the thought of the “slumber” the other guardians chose to enter. Perhaps it was time to leave them. He didn’t fight for either side of the debate. Instead, he watched the reasoning of the others. He agreed to sleep when the end came. If only it hadn’t been such a terrible idea.

When he chose his form, Pearl, it seemed … oddly fitting. Pearl himself started out as an irritant, and most people didn’t favor him. By the end of his time, however, he had formed something treasured. He took his form for its smooth, soft nature … like the feeling of his healing abilities.

Now that he's returned to earth, Pearl has strayed once again. His connection to the humans seems ... off. Pearl was woken, found a place amongst the humans, and has let his empathy toward them sway his loyalty to the guardians. With this change of loyalties, his appearance has been altered from gentle to harsh. His hair has been cut short to avoid undue attention, though his markings and hair color certainly don't keep his appearance subtle....

Creation: Peridot has the ability to create things. Whether it be changing something already existing into something else, or creating things from his own mind. He can use this ability on a single item, or to affect entire buildings or areas. The larger the creation, the more energy and concentration it takes. Depending on how much work he has put into a creation, when he is knocked out, killed or other circumstances arise, various objects will cease to exist. At the same time, he is able to "heal" or mend objects that he has created. If it is not something he has created, he can not change its physical being though. Examples can be found here: constructs, matter, Recreation/Healing, Weapon Creation.

Life: He has the ability to give life to his creations. Either those that already exist, or those he creates himself. In this sense, he can give life to inanimate objects, pull things out of books or pictures, etc and give them life or bring other people's dreams to life. The same rule applies as to his creation ability. Example: Life, Animation

Portals: He has the ability to create portals. He is able to use these in battle, wheather as blades to cut and then teleport pieces, or by other means. Example: Portals

Domain: Peridot has the ability to pull himself and beings around him out of reality. In this sense, it is like time in the world around him stops, and the people within the domain with him, are the only ones able to move and act. No one outside of the domain is aware of what is going on within, and once time begins again, it is like nothing happened. The domain can last any given amout of time, depending on his energy level. It is subjected to the same limitation as life and creation. Examples: Personal Domain, Dimensions, Alternate Reality, Enviornment

✛ Personality: Peridot has a more balanced personality of the twelve. He has both qualities of light, as well as darkness. At his core, Peridot has a good heart, a kind, just and benevolent man. He was often looked for guidance, and advice next to Diamond. He is a good man, enjoying simplicity, one of his favorite things being the natural world around him. He has a good sense of humor, but tends to only show it to those he knows well. He is more reserved and modest in most things he does, carrying a natural grace and fluency for a man. He tends to come off to most of the outside world as more quiet and serious. He is often calm, and slightly more annoyed by childish things. At the same time, he has a darker and more colder side as well.

He can be ruthless and unapproachable, a man with a temper that caused him to be feared in times of anger. He is often mysterious, though open in his ways. He has an honest way about him, often speaking his mind and heart when he needs to. At the same time, he is aware of when it is time to hold his tongue. He has a natural allure about him, and calming way to the natural world, including the rest of the twelve. Bits and pieces of his personality both compliment and clash with them, which often means leaving him as a mediator for them. He is a man of honor, one who refuses to attack an unarmed opponent, or harm an innocent. Though when someone crosses his sense of justice or harms someone or something precious to him, he becomes unforgiving and driven to being about justice and to right these wrongs. He is a man of evolution, trying to evolve himself, he is open to change and bettering himself.

✛ Biography: Peridot was created like the other eleven. He originally saw their duty as path that could not be strayed from. He watched the others grow, watching over them as leader and guardian of them as well as the world around them. He did not mind his duty, he took pride and care in keeping them and the world safe. He spent a lot of his time traveling, among the natural world. In tune with it, he was the closest to the natural land, next to Emerald. When darkness began to harm the land and its people, Peridot was the first to take up a position of opposition to the darkness, leading the others into battle against it to push it back. He gave his all, pushing himself in order to preserve the world that the original had built.

He did not see himself as a god or as something beyond the world. Though the humans held him in such a light as they did the others, he was content with simply living and doing his work. As the world around them evolved, he saw the changes quicker than most of the others. He saw the way the humans pulled away from them, pulling upon their own choices and choosing their own path. Peridot originally brought up the idea of slumber, though at first he was only thinking about it for himself. As the others learned about it though, the idea of all of them slipping into slumber came into action. He opposed to a point, but at the same time, he thought that perhaps giving the humans their chance to choose their path was a good idea.

Slipping into slumber, his gem like the others originally began in the same place. When he woke, he noticed the darkness within the world, which made him uneasy. He decided to take up his time, getting to know the world, how it had changed. He wanted to get closer to it once more, to re establish his position. He has made it a mission to find and reach out to the other guardians as they wake from their slumber as well. He has made a promise to fix the world, to take the darkness down and once more set the world on a path of light.

Form: He can use any liquids around him to form orbs, the number of orbs he can make is subject to how much energy he has though.

Purify: Aquamarine can purify water if he concentrates and can even use his purified water to wash toxins/poisons out of someone, though it is mainly limited to that. He doesn't have any healing abilities outside of that.

Shift: Aquamarine can make his orbs take on a number of different forms, making them into weapons or shields for example, and can harden them or liquefy them at will.

Net: By spreading out the orbs he has made in a systematic pattern, Aquamarine can connect them all into a sort of net trap that can temporarily block attacks or trap enemies. The strength/durability of this power depends entirely on the amount of orbs that Aquamarine has at his disposal.

Rain: When Aquamarine's orbs burst they fall in droplets back to the ground and wash away impurities that they come into contact with. It's mostly a passive ability so whether or not it works is subjective.

✛ Weapon: Orbs

✛ Personality: Aquamarine has always been the most innocent of the guardians. His naivety wasn't from a lack of understanding but from the want to see the good in everything. He has an almost childlike outlook on things, smiling easily and questioning everything.

Not a very outspoken character, Aquamarine goes with the flow. As long as nothing disrupts the flow of what he believes is right then he won't retaliate. Otherwise he snaps and his calm, joyful demeanor gets lost in a tempest of emotions. When angered Aquamarine has no qualms over the destruction he might cause. It is in the aftermath that he is most prone to being affected by those around him as regrets pile up in his mind and he becomes susceptible to the darkness.

Since his re-awakening, the once eager and curious questions that he used to spout out to the other guardians has dwindled and he spends more time observing instead of speaking.

✛ Biography: As a guardian Aquamarine often had to rely on the others to help him. He was neither physically nor mentally the strongest. The best he could do was offer support and he did so to the best of his ability. He was always friendly with the ones they had been tasked with protecting, especially enjoying spending time with the younger ones.

When Darkness rose the first time, he stood with the other guardians and fought but after every fight he found himself drawing away from the ones he was supposed to be keeping safe. he was...scared of the ways they were changing.

When the choice of sleep was presented to them, Aquamarine was the first to agree. He didn't want to listen to the arguing that was happening anymore, perhaps it would be good for them to all let the world continue on for a time without them. Perhaps by the time he was awakened again he would be able to have strengthened his resolve to protect once again.

In the new world Aquamarine hid himself for a time to watch just how much had changed, he has since learned to adapt and fit in with the humans, biding his time until he can find and meet up with the other guardians once again.

✛ Extra: Aquamarine has always needed someone to look out for him in the past, nowadays he has been forced to learn to be more independent. As such, his behaviour is often dismissed by humans as the type of person that has been babied all his life and just doesn't know how to do normal things.

Growth: By using some of her power, Emerald can utilize any nearby plants to turn into traps or defensive shields. She could also just speed up a plants growth.

Nurture: She can enhance the natural abilities of the plant life that she so chooses, making poisonous plants even more potent for example.

Chance: By focusing her power, Emerald can make a dead plant flower once more. This ability is like a game of chance though as it can take more than one try to get it to work.

Proxy: This ability is similar to Growth except there is no pre-existing plant life for her to use and so is completely dependent on how much energy she has to spare.

Budding: This is a passive ability that takes the form of a tattoo like image that wraps around Emerald's body. It is ever-changing, reflecting her moods and the seasons with different flowers and at varying states of growth.

✛ Personality: A bit stubborn and a bit dense, Emerald means well but she might not always come across as such. She can be uncompromising at times, but, if given enough reason to, she will bend and change her ways.

With a strong sense of what is right and what is wrong, Emerald is like an old tree that has firmly gripped the earth within its roots, she will stand firm for her beliefs.

She is a nurturing kind of person despite her stubbornness. Always willing to offer help to those who seek it from her earnestly. If it is within her power and not against something she stands for, Emerald has a hard time saying no.

Since waking once more, Emerald has retained most of the same personality, she hasn't changed much in that regard.

✛ Biography: Much like Garnet, Emerald threw herself fully into the task of a guardian at the beginning before she began mellowing out as time passed. She'd train every so often but as long as she was in shape and able to hold her own, she didn't feel the need to overdo anything.

She acted like a teacher of sorts for the humans that they watched over, showing them how to make use of the nature that surrounded them to help them survive and to appreciate it.

When the darkness showed up though, she pulled away from them. She didn't leave the humans alone but she no longer interacted with them personally. She saw how they threw away what she had originally taught them and she was saddened by their dismissal of her teachings.

Instead she fought alongside her fellow guardians to try and keep those humans safe. And when the time came for them to sleep, Emerald raised her voice in protest. If such darkness could befall them while the guardians were awake, what could happen if all of them were asleep? Eventually she was persuaded along with the others that were against the decision and fell into a sleep.

Upon awakening, Emerald interacted sparingly with the humans around her, slowly getting to know their ways and assimilating. It was hard for her but over time she managed and so she has been waiting as the years passed for her fellow guardians to awaken.

Razor Wind- Opal is able to use air itself to slice objects, focusing a current of wind to the point where it takes on a sharp edge.

Air walking- can walk on the air, treating it like a solid matter. They can run and move across the air as if walking on the ground, giving them greater maneuverability in their environment.

✛ Personality: Opal is extremely calm and very gentle in nature. In any situation she is the one that keeps her cool and it takes a lot to get her riled up. She is soft spoken and fluid, everything about her exudes control and calmness. Opal is the listener and comforter. Anything you need, ask and you shall receive.

With her gentleness it may seem like Opal is the weakest link but that is the farthest from the truth. She is very protective and fights with scary fierceness, though she will try the peaceful way at first.

✛ Biography: Being a guardian is life itself to Opal, she was born to protect. To her, humans needed to be protected at any cost. She was the calmness in every storm, the voice of reason and the mediator.
When the darkness first appeared she tried to find the peaceful way to deal with the problem but soon realized peace was not going to work. She turned into a strong fighter but never lost who she really was.

The choice of sleep was presented to them when the darkness was pushed back and people stopped believing in them. At first Opal was in the middle trying to keep the peace between the guardians like always. But then she started to realize that going to sleep was a terrible idea. In the end though it was decided that sleep was the best option.

Once she re-awakened she knew she and a few of the others had been right. Going to sleep had been the worst idea. Now darkness was everywhere.

✛ Biography: There’s really not much to tell about Eliana’s past. She’s been in the darkness for so long she doesn’t remember what light and goodness feels like. When the 12 was created and Bazel found her she rejoiced. Eliana quickly proved herself to her leader and soon became his tracker and assassin.

The 12 are her enemies and she will do anything to kill them. The world needs darkness not light. She will make sure the light reigns no more.

✛ Personality:He is open minded as he welcomes different ideas and change. Amethyst has always been one that can adapt well to almost any situation. Manipulating his own emotions or totally keeping them hidden from sight. Often he is misunderstood and seen as cold by others. Some would consider him a people pleaser or two faced, but in truth he wants to keep the peace by finding the best solution to the situation at hand. Even if that means he has to sacrifice something in the end. At times it's hard to just peg Amethyst and where his true allegiances lie (with the guardians, the humans or himself).

✛ Biography: In the past when it came to Amethyst people either liked him or they did not. In many ways he was an oddball when compared to the other guardians. Despite this he was one of the few that accepted change, who was able to adapt easily to their ever changing world. He realized as the world changed so did they if they were to continue to guard the world and humans alike. Amethyst also realized not all the guardians liked or cared for change so he would do what he could to help them coupe, to bring them to an understanding.

Amethyst was one of the problem solvers and mediators when it came to the guardians. He was always willing to do whatever needed to be done to bring peace. Even if it didn't seem like it at the time he did things to keep others happy. Sadness and anger are two things you couldn't stand seeing. To him they were like a disease that needed to be cured quickly.

When the darkness came he sought a peaceful solution instead of fighting. It quickly became clear that fighting was the only option. Even while they fought to push the darkness back he looked for other ways. None were found. After the darkness had been pushed back things changed yet again for them all. There was talk of sleep. The idea of sleeping didn't sit well with Amethyst. Going to sleep meant they would miss many things. They wouldn't be able to witness how the humans and world evolved over the course of time. He would have thought that his indecisivness about the situation of them going to sleep or not would have told them something, but then again that was probably more of his wishful thinking. He both protested and reasoned with the others. Some of his reasons for not wanting to sleep were probably considered selfish, but he didn't care. In the end it was decided sleep was the best choice for all of them.

After re-awaken in 2013 Amethyst was amazed by the changes that had come to the world. To see how things were so different was astonishing. His astonishment faded when he realized that the darkness had returned and was more widespread then it had been before. One of their worst fears had happened. Now in the present Quis has returned to trying to find solutions that will benefit everyone. Just like in the past others either like or don't like him and continue to question his motives for the things that he does.

✛ Extra: No matter how much effort he puts forward he feels like it's never enough and that things will never change. As of late this feeling has grown and he has become more restless. Magnification: Ruby is able to feed off the of the rage of those around her, magnifying her powers.

Heat Wave: Able to bring about the worst droughts the world has ever known, Ruby is able to heat the area around her to the point that water seems to evaporate almost instantly.

Erruption: Much like the volcano of Pompei, fires explode, the lava begins to flow. The petite Miss essentially becomes the volcano. Erruption can also happen in lesser stages that just involve fire or its lava counterpart being controlled by the woman.

✛ Personality: To say Ruby can be a bit explosive is an understatement. She could easily be viewed as one of the 'meaner' and harder to predict of the Twelve. As a living ticking time bomb, it's hard to tell what will set Ruby off and what won't, though the second she is upset, everyone knows.

Though, it's not only her anger that's big and explosive, in general, all of Ruby's emotions are; she's deeply passionate, can be insanely hurt, she laughs loud and smiles large, if it can be overdone, Ruby would do it. She doesn't enjoy being mean, at least to those close to her, and often regrets it. It's not uncommon for her to go silent and regret her words or actions if she feels that she may have stepped out of line (granted, if she's furious, this won't happen till days later). She never forgets doing something like that and should someone bring it up, she becomes deeply remorseful and very flustered.

She's judgmental and not afraid to speak her thoughts, even if the situation isn't highly appropriate. She tends to not read situations very well to begin with, nor people for that matter. She's also not the most graceful sort, no matter how hard she tries, it's not uncommon for the girl to fumble or drop something or even trip over air.

Ruby is fiercely loyal, the type of person that would sacrifice herself for her comrades and definitely acts before she speaks.

✛ Biography: Ruby could relate well with Garnet and Emerald with their approach to being a guardian, though she found herself following Garnet's beliefs of constant training. Her purpose? To protect those that believed in her of course.

Ruby viewed those that believed as her children. She would protect them, help them, guide them and watch them. She would not want to interfere with their lives more than needed, but should they need help, she would be there, even if they didn't know it.

She didn't like the idea of losing her children, even if they didn't go to her like they used to, the thought of not being there for them was disheartening. She would sooner tear open the heavens and rain fire upon the earth than let them be alone. Yet, even with such passionate devotion, they never returned to her. This turned the woman's passion into spite. 'Fine', she had thought to herself. 'Let them try and survive without me'. It was through that bitter selfishness that the woman agreed to sleeping.

Returning to Earth once again, Ruby is faced with mix emotions. A part of her is pleased that humans fare so poorly and that now they may come to reason, yet the other part of her is furious that Darkness would creep up so much while they were gone. Either way, Ruby is not happy.

Astrakinesis: Using this Turquoise is able to see spirits/astral beings, communicate with spirits/astral beings and make spirits/astral beings visible to others. Another aspect of this allows Turquoise to project herself, thoughts, memories, consciousnesses and emotions into another’s mind. While doing this she is in a semiconscious state. The person she projected things into will believe it all to be a dream. Using this power she is also able to project her spirit or another's spirit into the astral plane or even into reality. Her body is left vulnerable while in the meditative state or sleep like state she must be in to project her spirit into the astral plane or reality.

Dreamscaping: Turquoise is able to enter the dreams of others whether they are sleeping or only day dreaming. While within the dream world she is able to convey messages, ignite forgotten memories/feelings or merely just explore. What Turquoise chooses to reveal may or may not be the truth. To enter the dream realm Turquoise must either be asleep herself, in a meditative state, or project herself within it.

Dream Weaving: The dreamcatcher she carries isn't merely a decoration. Turquoise gathers bits and pieces of both dreams and nightmares while she wanders the world of dreams and enters the dreams of others. Using those bits and pieces use can manipulate and alter the realm of dreams. For example change someone’s nightmare into a pleasant dream or vice versa.

Onmyōdō: Turquoise is able to summon Shikigami (spirit or astral being she has formed a contract with) using this ability. This also heightens her spiritual awareness. Unlike most users of Onmyōdō she uses feathers and beads instead of paper charms. These objects which come from her dream catcher allow her to do various things such as the summoning of a Shikigami, sealing spirits and performing exorcisms. In most cases she retains full control over the Shikigami that is summoned, but very strong Shikigami cause her some issues. Another drawback of using this ability just like the others is that it drains her both mentally and physically. And just like all the others if she forces herself to push beyond her limits the mental and physical repercussion can be very severe.

Possession: By projecting her spirit while in a sleep or meditative state Turquoise may possess objects, animals and even people. While possessing objects she can observe things going unnoticed by those around. She can even move the object she is possessing, causing some to believe they are in the presence of a ghost or poltergeist. If she possesses an animal or another person she has free range of motion and control of their body if she wishes and the target doesn't have a very strong mind. The person or animal will have no memory of what they did while possessed. Again while within an unconscious state her body remains vulnerable. Other limitations include being forced out of the person she is possessing by the person taking back control, exorcised or banished by someone with astral powers or healing powers, or forced out by the target being killed. If the host is killed Turquoise does risk the possibility of not being able to return to her own body or even dying herself.

✛ Weapon: Dream Catcher

✛ Personality: Turquoise has always been somewhat secretive. Quiet, caring and gentle was her nature. No matter what she is almost always smiling, something she learned to do long ago to keep others from worrying about her. She tends to be quiet and patient, but there are times when her patience runs thin.

When it comes to Turquoise she can work both independently and with the other guardians. There are times though when she tries to take on too much by herself. She doesn't want to hurt the others so she does things on her own as to not burden them, to also protect and help them. This is when the woman tends to land herself in trouble because she'll neglect herself and stay focused on the task at hand or those involved. She has received more than one lecture on her well-being, but it hasn't done much good.

At times Turquoise can be dark, almost like she's another person. This is due to the repercussions of using some of her powers and entering the astral plane. When this happens the woman does her best to stay away from everyone, hiding herself away in isolation. Only a few have seen or know what can happen.

✛ Biography: Turquoise like the other guardians believed the humans needed protecting, this only intensified when the darkness came. She always had a close connection to the humans due to her ability to enter the astral plane and communicate with those who have passed on, along with the other beings that wandered the plane between worlds. In her own ways she would do what she could to "heal" others when it came to dealing with lose and the fear of death. This was a task the woman took seriously and on herself. Dealing with so much sadness, anger, depression and fear over time Turquoise learned to always smile no matter what. Just one smile could brighten anyone's mood no matter how poor it was.

At times she felt like the others thought they had to look after her. Not wanting this as she was a guardian as well and capable of dealing with things on her own when needed she was soon using her smile to cover up with, to hide behind. It was her way of not burdening the others, protecting them. There were times when acting on her own and hiding her true feelings landed her in trouble. A couple of those times Pearl along with some of other guardians had to come to her rescue. Of course this caused her to receive lectures. Not that they ever really seemed to do any good. It just wasn't and still isn't in the woman's nature not to protect and care for others.

After the first time that Pearl had helped to rescue her from the dangers of wandering the astral plane too long the two grew closer. Over time their friendship developed into more of a brother/sister type relationship. Turquoise was probably the closest one to Pearl next to Diamond. She was aware that Pearl had feelings for Diamond and really she couldn't blame the man. Even though her dear friend never pursued what he felt for the other guardian Turquoise kept her own feelings towards Pearl locked away in her heart. There were several times she wanted more from what they shared, but never attempted to take things further out of respect of the man's feelings towards Diamond.

Once the darkness had been pushed back and the suggestion of the guardians going to sleep was brought up Turquoise found herself with mixed feelings. The sleep was tempting as she would no longer have to deal with the suffering she currently dealt with as she continued to do what she could to comfort humans and guide them. She wouldn't have to fear losing herself to the darkness of death which at times threatened her very being. The woman was torn as she still wanted to protect the humans and work alongside them as she always had. Doing what she could to 'heal' their spirits during their mourning. At first she protested like some of the others, but over time gave in to the idea of sleeping. Something about the sleep didn't set well with her. During one of her visits to the astral plane right before they were to sleep Turquoise had a vision that the darkness would one day return causing more unease.

Turquoise re-awakened in 2008. The world had changed a great deal during the time of their sleep. As she had feared the vision had been correct. The darkness had returned and was much more widespread than it had been the first time. After re-awakening she did what she had to blend in with the humans. Just like before she felt the call to work with them, to 'heal' their broken spirits. Until any of the other guardians find her she is content with doing what she can to protect and help humanity on her own.

Sapphire is the very silent type. She is very observant and normally doesn't really speak. Around the humans, she is very sweet and caring towards them. She would make sure they weren't in pain, she is especially gentle towards children. When she is with the gems, she is very loyal to them, but she is a bit antisocial towards them, only speaking when she has to or when she has something to say. It's not the fact she didn't like them, it just she makes herself think she is an object and not a person. Sapphire can be adventurous and very smart in tight situations, making sure that everyone is safe when it comes to danger.

All in all, she is shy, a bit antisocial and keeps to herself, however, she does have her moments. She always tells herself that she isn't perfect and that she is prone to mistakes. It's the closest thing to being human she has. Even though Sapphire doesn't really speak much, she is no sissy, if there is something she doesn't like, she will speak her mind and say that there is something wrong and if she doesn't like it.

✛ Biography:
Sapphire considers herself the mind and the 'tank' of the gems. She is very quiet and looks out for everyone to the best of her ability. Due to a slight deformity, Sapphire's ability to talk was taken away. However, she never really worried about it. Back when the humans were dependent of the gems, Sapphire was considered the Mute Goddess, a nickname Sapphire had grown accustomed to. To communicate, she used her own powers to do so, this would allow her life to be a bit easier once she had gotten used to it. While the other guardians would train or whatever they wanted to do, Sapphire was in the background, watching silently and just avoiding the humans when she could.

However, she does have a protective streak, often making sure the humans were clear headed and not out of focus when it came to their goals. She may haven't been as beautiful as Diamond or strong as Garnet, but she was powerful in mind. When the darkness came into the world, Sapphire was the first to protect her family. Since she was a tank, the attacks weren't as bad. She would sacrifice herself to protect the humans and her 'family". Even when the humans slowly started to forget about them, Sapphire still cared for the humans. Protecting them to the best of her ability.

As time went on, the Gem considered going into slumber, of course, Sapphire was against it. However, she didn't think it was a bad idea since it appeared the humans didn't need them anymore. She felt useless. She soon agreed to it and slumber overtook her. Centuries would go by when Sapphire woke up. She noticed her link to the humans had gone away almost completely. She was not more determined to cleanse the humans of the darkness, by any means necessary. Sapphire promised herself that she would never abandon the humans again.

Sapphire has two different color eyes, one being gold and the other a sapphire blue. Since Sapphire can't talk, she has to carry a chalkboard in order to communicate with the humans. Fear Hound: He smells fear like a hound can scent blood. Richter is drawn to fear and is able to track it like a scent.

Touch of Terror: Coming into contact with Richter is like being struck with immediate terror. His abilities are increased tenfold upon physical contact with his victim.

Paranoia: Extending from "Touch of Terror," Paranoia is a further progressed stage. Paranoia brings personalized fears into sight. They are visible only to the victim, and are controlled by Richter himself. The victim becomes a danger to themselves and the world around them by losing vision of what's real and what isn't. Richter is able to whisper to the victim struck by paranoia and lead them to do something he wants.

✛ Personality: Richter has always been one to strive for attention. Physical touch is his love language, so he's always touching people - he craves the contact. He finds amusement in tormenting others, though often in childish ways. He is rude, snarky, and difficult to control - by anyone save one person. His brother is the one thing that turns Richter from uncontrollable to kind and protective. He's nearly a different person around his brother. A close second is Bazel, who Richter feels safe around.

With a quick smile and mischievous demeanor, Richter enjoys watching the fear of others and will prod them for their reactions. Deep down, he's ... odd. He's afraid. Richter has yet to admit it to himself, as he is the harbinger of fear itself, but the boy is terrified of what he'll do to those he cares for. He wants to be safe, to feel as though his existence means something to Bazel and Hakumei.

Richter has an odd demeanor, and is often found doing strange things in completely normal settings such as sitting strangely, eating in a very emphasized manner, and grinning from ear to ear. His laughter is haunting, and is more frequent than necessary.

✛ Biography: Kaname and Hakumei were created in an attempt to recreate the original being from which the twelve guardians gained their individuality from. With the blood of each guardian within them mixed with that of darkness, the twins were formed into a single soul - a soul that was painstakingly cared for after the guardians passed into their slumber. Bazel watched over the soul until it split into two beings - Kaname and Hakumei.

As a child Kaname clung to his brother and "father" often, his dark nature seeming tame when he was around his twin. At first, small differences between the brothers bothered Kaname. He was unhappy thinking that they were different, and as those differences began to broaden the youth seemed desperate not to let Haku out of his sight. It was his desire to stay similar to Haku, but as time began to pass Kaname realized that it was a desperate attempt to keep himself sane. There was darkness in everything, and with that darkness came fear. That fear was only held at bay when his twin was near him.

Kaname cared about nothing other than Haku and Bazel. He understood his twin's need to be independent, and as time passed they grew more apart. Kaname watched as his brother took interest in more ... innocent activities. In the past it might have bothered him that the desires Kaname himself felt were so dark and different from those seemingly good activities ... but instead it fueled him into his own interests. Most of his activities revolved around art and prop making, both of which produced very disturbing pieces. It was the first time he allowed himself to release his brother from every activity and conversation, and it was the biggest step away from one another that they'd ever taken.

When it came to training with Bazel, Kaname struggled. There was such fear. Kaname often hid from Bazel to avoid training. This never lasted long, for the boy craved the presence of others. He would find Haku or Bazel hours later, and training would commence. The fear never left. If anything, it got worse with the use of his powers. The abilities began to form in small ways - making others feel fear, being able to tell when someone was afraid - before they truly blossomed. It was during his training when Kaname's fear became a weapon for him - it became tangible. He let it in, and he let it consume him in ways that others would never understand. The dreams started then; the nightmares came, and fear became a creature that Kaname spoke with often. He would do anything for the Hakumei and Bazel's approval - even if that meant spiraling into fear to boost his abilities.

They were given a false home, a connection to the "real world" as the guardians began to return. It was the first time Kaname had been exposed to a more normal world for such an extended time. Despite their parents being Bazel's pawns, Kaname caused them much grief. They were lucky to have Hakumei around to help tame Kaname. Too often he tormented their parents, and too often would it result in scoldings and arguments between the twins.

While Hakumei enjoyed the human life, Kaname hated it. It was dull, and he was forced to sit quietly too often. He would hide or disappear, leaving lovely surprises and pranks for their parents. While some of these pranks were intended for Hakumei himself, most of them were for visitors and their parents.

Training was the only thing that kept him even relatively "sane" during the passing months, though his hold on reality was corroding. The only time Kaname showed any semblance of being normal was around his twin. Hakumei still meant the world to him despite his inner turmoil and insanity. Every passing day was a day in which Kaname sought his twin, and while he'd never said a thing about it Kaname knew that his brother was the sole thing he truly cared about. He would do anything for Hakumei,

✛ Extra: Richter's eyes are yellow and pink. His hair is long enough for him to tie back, and obviously hasn't been cut in years.

Richter has many scars, likely some of them are self-inflicted, that he's marked to look more like stitches. He has them about his wrists, from the left corner of his lip down his chin, over his neck, over his collar, and across the bridge of his nose. Honestly, he looks ... like a doll at points.

His clothing is always ratty, and he looks like a low-income teenager who lives on the streets. To contradict his "dark" appearance, his dark magenta hair is rather eye-catching and he has piercings in his left ear.

Powers:
Pulse: Haku’s very soul generates an energy. He is able to release this energy through various means, such as pulses. Focused through the gloves he wears, these pulses come out as various frequencies and waves of sound as a result of the properties of the gloves. The various frequencies and waves have their own color, each having their own purpose as well. Surprisingly, these frequencies and waves mirror various properties of the twelve’s powers, thus allowing him to in a sense 'replicate' various abilities of theirs, or their gem set. It is believed to be a result of their DNA and thus their power within him. He uses the gloves to channel his energy, without them, this energy becomes more unstable in nature. He is working on being able to control it better, but it seems to be getting stronger in nature and developing.

Sense: Haku has an odd sixth sense. It is strongest with his twin, since the two are mirror sides of one another, but depending on how well he focus, it can work with the other twelve. He is able to sense their presences, as well as their powers. He can ‘feel’ them, like he is linked or connected with them. At times he catches ‘glimpses’ or visions of what they are feeling or what is going through their head. He has become well adapt at keeping this one sided for the most part, keeping them unable from sensing him or seeing into his mind. But it is not always a perfect science. Especially when one’s emotions are running high.

Assimilation: Haku has an ability that allows him to absorb the energy of the other twelve as well as his brother and Bazel. He must be in physical contact with them or their energy through the use of their abilities. It is believed that if he absorbed enough, he would be able to physically absorb their beings. It is unsure what would happen as a result of this however. In the sense with this, he has the ability of acting as a conduit for the twelve, his brother and Bazel. Able to transfer energy from one or more of them to others and vice versa. He can also use this transfer of energy for his own power as well. He does have his physical limits with this. Through training and work, he has been progressing this ability.

✛ Weapon: He wears a pair of fingerless gloves (seen in picture), within the back of them, a small speaker like object is placed. At the same time, around the speaker there is a sharp metallic thread wound, which he is able to use within battle.

✛ Personality: Haku is typically one to come off as lazy and uninterested to those around him. He rarely ever seems motivated, a procrastinator when it comes to most things. He prefers working at his own pace and to relax more than physically exert himself. He is also one to come off as quick witted and even quicker mouthed. He speaks his mind rather bluntly, without much thought as to how it comes across. He is rather honest though, often finding little reason to hide much of anything. He conflicts often with authority, not one to enjoy being bossed around, especially when it makes him feel like people are looking down upon him or underestimating him.

He is actually a very smart and powerful young man when he applies himself. People who tick him off or push him enough are quick to find this out. Once he has his mind or head set on something, giving up or in is not an option. Unlike his brother, Haku cares little what people think about him. He finds himself desiring less and less the approval of others. He is not one to overexert himself merely to make others like him better. He is confident and happy with himself, relaxed in his own skin and being. Although he comes off as being lazy and seeming not to care, many find it rather cute and funny to push certain buttons. Especially around his brother, he can get flustered or act out. Arguing and scolding him typically like that of normal siblings.

He is the more confident and together brother of the two, often coming off as the more mature of the pair. This is not to say in his laziness or such he cannot be immature or childlike. He does have his moments, as well as enjoys a good time just like anyone. He has his ups and downs like most, but contrary to many of the other darker beings, he is more grounded and humane among them. He does have a good side to him, one where he will protect others or help out, doing the right thing despite being bad. He often plays it off or something, but there are hints that there is more to him below the surface than others see.

✛ Biography: Hakumei and his brother were not born like most other beings. Unlike the gems who were born by the breaking down of a single being, or darker beings who were born in various ways, the twins were created. They were born of the blood of the twelve as well as Bazel himself. Fashioned into a soul within the darkness soon after the twelve slipped into slumber, they were an attempt to create a powerful being, who could rival that of the original himself. However, something went awry. The soul Bazel nurtured and looked after for centuries fractured, splitting into two. Thus Hakumei and his brother’s souls were formed. From there, their souls stabilized enough and their power grew strong enough for their bodies to form. Bazel took on a roll of father/brother for the two while they were young, raising them alongside him.

Haku was different from his brother growing up, showing it at a young age. Bazel often commented that the two were polar opposites while remaining mirror images of one another. He was the light to his brother’s darkness. Often the only one to keep him sane and in check, the boys held a deep bond with one another from the very beginning. As they grew up, Haku became a bit more independent in nature, he still held the same deep bond with his brother and would protect or have his back when needed, but they were no longer seemingly joined at the hip. Haku took an interest in music and tinkering with things. At the same time, Bazel took slightly different approaches in training the two of them as their powers evolved. Haku knew Bazel was happy when he developed his energy.

Able to change the ‘nature’ of it, the type into different waves that took on different properties. It allowed him to harness similar abilities to the twelve. At the same time, his sense and other abilities caused him to become a focus within Bazel’s plans, alongside his brother. The two became easily his top pair, his right and left hand, while at the same time remaining unknown to most of the rest of the world in their connection to Bazel. They were given a cover, parents who were little more than pawns warped by Bazel to believe they were the twin’s parents. A home, given the task to live among the humans in order to keep out of the eye of the twelve as they began to return. Haku knew that one day however, they would have to face them. Once their identities were known, living a simple human life would become impossible.

Despite this, he enjoyed it. Contrary to how he acted outwardly, internally he found the human cover of his life easy going and peaceful. When it came time to shed such sides for the training and being by Bazel’s side along with his brother, he became accustomed to switching mentalities like a light switch. To him in a sense, he became two separate people. This clashed a bit with him internally, for he became at a point unsure of which was real and which was the lie. For his brother as well as Bazel, he has since buried these feelings, ending his questioning of himself. He does not know what the future holds, but he has made a promise to himself. Whatever it is, he has promised to protect his brother no matter what, as well as to repay his debt to Bazel.

Since he was little, a strange Mark has appeared upon his back. It looks like a tattoo in nature, but its real purpose is unknown. Around his neck, he wears a pendant that his brother gave him when they were young. It holds a deep meaning to him and in reality he holds it as his most precious possession.

✛ Extra: Haku has a love of music, often found listening to or creating it. It was his idea to turn the gloves into speakers, which would release his energy in the form of sound waves. At the same time, he has an odd curiosity for tinkering with things. Whether it be technology or other areas, he has an odd sense of being curious about what makes things tick. This seems to surprise most, since it is contrary to his overall personality.

Electrical Charge: Able to heat things with electricity or make them conduct activity. This includes control over electrons in items that are in solid, liquid or gaseous state. This can allow her to pull herself or other people or items toward or away from herself or others.

Electric Field Manipulation and Negation: Is able to set up electric force fields that disitegrates all that passes through or at least does a large/decent amount of damage to their physical form.

Electric Transport: Able to ride on or in electricity/lightning bolts for faster travel.

✛ Personality: Topaz is a very excited and eccentric individual. She loves everything and everyone and finds beauty in everything around her. Her outgoing personality makes it easy for her to approach and talk to anyone, she's best friends with everyone and they just don't know it yet.

Though not one that enjoys conflict, Topaz will not hesitate to jump into the fray when something or someone is under attack. The frightening part? The petite woman wields a massive, two-handed axe that is far larger than she is and looks more like a football quarterback should use it. On top of that, her excited and happy personality shines through during each and every blow.

It's her happy, joyful and playful personality that draws people to her. She doesn't see any one person worth more or less than anyone else. Much like the element that she is, Topaz's appearance lights up a room (literally sometimes when it comes to powering light bulbs).

Topaz loves to have fun and does not care what others think of her. She's also the type that prefers to be around people rather than being alone. A free spirit, Topaz is the type that doesn't say no to fun and adventure. She'll jump feet first into just about anything that seems like it could be entertaining or exciting.

✛ Biography: Topaz didn't like to view herself as being above the humans she was created to help. To her, being created as one of the twelve was humbling so she wanted to help humans by being among them. She treated everyone around her with kindness, leading by their side rather than leading before or above them.

When the humans seemed to no longer wish to believe they needed the twelve, Topaz followed the example set by Aquamarine and rather than fighting, she willingly went to sleep. One couldn't make humans believe in or need them, so she would wait until they were needed. With how her element behaved, she knew that trying to control something that wasn't made to be controlled, you were more likely to get hurt than be successful.

✛ Extra: Whenever using her powers, Topaz's hair seems to float on some invisible breeze while electricity flows through her hair. Topaz is also LOVES to cuddle. Powers: Victor in either state possesses strong light abilities. He has the ability to Manipulate Light. Through this, he is able to create a series of weapons, his preffered ones being a series of light lances, also able to create shields and more. He is able to manipulate his constructs though the use of his mind, moving and melding them without having to use his hands at all. This ability allows him a variety of other techniques, such as healing through the use of his light and more. He is more vulnerable to dark based attacks, where at the same time remaining strong against them. His powers are stronger during the day and weaker at night. However, he has trained himself enough that this does not affect him to much. His abilities give him a purification element as well. He is able to push darkness out of areas, people, and more. His power is linked to his own energy and mental state. Meaning if he gets to exhausted, knocked out or his concentration slips to much his power is affected. He does naturally replinish his energy at a quick rate. His own natural resistance to sickness and toxins are quite high as well. At the same time, he has a faster naturally healing nature than others.

✛ Weapon: Though one to fight more with his own created weapons, he is handy with a sword or gun if need be. Though he will only use a gun if absolutely needed, finding them rather vulgar and primal in nature.

✛ Personality:
Light Victor is a kind and caring man, strong willed and hearted. Dark Victor on the other hand comes off as more cold and unapproachable. Quick witted and tongued, Dark Victor is not afraid to speak his mind. Both sides have been reffered to as having a silver tongue, able to charm or talk their way around anyone. Both are smart and capable, able to think on their feet and act accordingly. Where Light Victor is more prone to protect others and care about their feelings, Dark Victor is bold and brash, with little reguard for others. Dark Victor is more of a mand of science and the mind. He takes pride in his experiments, curious about what makes things and people tick. He has ittle trouble pushing people to their limits just for ammusement or finding out what makes them tick.

He has a careless attitude when dealing with others, often talking down to them having little trouble crushing them if need be. Light Victor on the other hand is a lot more humble. He does not hold himself in higher reguards compared with others, one to be thankful for the traits others bring to the table as well. Their different as night and day, while at the same time remaining similar. Both share being a man of knowledge, one it would be unwise to underestimate. Dark Victor has a more twisted sense of humor, which ties into his lack of care in doing whatever he wants. He dislikes getting dirty however, seeming to have an odd phobia of being dirty, especially if it is blood. His he has no trouble with, but if it is another's, he freaks out. Light Victor does not have this problem, more down to earth than his darker companion.

Both have a strong will and heart, neither will give up easily. Both put their all into whatever they do, even if it means putting their own lives on the line. Both share gentlemanly qualities, both having excellent manners. Light Victor is more prone to use them all around though, where as other personality traits can get in the way of Victor's manners. Each have their mysterious qualities and other traits that some have yet to discover.

✛ Biography:
Victor comes from a wealthy family. From a young age, he was in an arranged marriage, to be wed to a countess of a neighboring city. Victor grew up as a man of order and duty. Much of his life was planned out for him on a tight schedule. Everything had a place and he was expected to be the duitiful son. He never had the normal freedom or opportunities of many. Out with his family to their cabin, Victor slipped off on his own. Fate led him to meet a sprite witch by the name of Crysalis, a protector from the forces of darkness. She was different from anyone else he had ever met. So different and free, she showed him the world through new eyes. She helped to discover a light within him that he never knew was there, awakening his powers within.

Unfortunately, his parents became aware of the two. They noticed his progressing feelings for the other, fearing that it would end up jepordizing his arranged marriage. This is when they met Bazel by chance, the man agreeing to help take care of their little problem. Unknown to them, the other had motives of his own, corrupting the land. In the process, the female that Victor was coming to care for was weakened and in time killed. Overhearing his parents speaking of what had happened, Victor left in an attempt to help her. He arrived just as she met her end, attacked by one of Bazel's beasts. To protect her, Victor slayed the beast, before taking her into his arms. Her last words to him that she felt the same for him as he had to her. She asked him to keep the light within his heart, not to give up to the darkness. Victor returned home to find the place trashed and his parents killed as well.

The police classified it as a wild animal attack, closing the case. Victor took on the title of Count, as well as his parents many estates and fortune. He called off the marriage to the woman he had been arranged to, spending his time instead travelling to discover the truth behind those who had harmed his beloved. He battled dark creatures who popped up, learning over time about the crystal guardians and more. His meddling and power becoming a problem for Bazel over time. The other origionally thought of simply killing him, but then had another thought in mind. He attacked Victor, the two battling. Bazel used what happened to Crysalis in order to gain the upper hand, corrupting Victor's heart and mind just enough to gain control over him, but not enough to corrupt his form. As a result, a black mark spreds out a bit over his heart on his chest. Victor fought, struggling to keep his mind and his heart his own.

Bazel amused at this did not force anything right away, enjoying provoking the count over time. Victor heard of the reawakening of the crystal guardians. In order to assist them and help himself, Victor managed to write down what he knew within a journal, before placing it within a library hidden. He sealed the memory of it within his head, as well as the light within his heart, thus succumbing to the darkness growing inside him. His hope was that eventually the journal would attract the attention of one of the guardians. He had placed a light charm upon it, which would only be felt by one of them. After his decent, Victor became a scientist, doctor and alchemist for Bazel, given various tasks to deal with. Bazel is careful to keep the corruption taking place within him up to date. He is aware of the growing light within him, that if the corruption was not kept current, Victor might overcome it.

✛ Extra: Victor has a russian accent to his voice, often speaking in his native language when annoyed or angered. He constantly wears a star pendant. It is his prized possession in either state, but Dark Victor can become highly aggressive when it is touched or in danger.
