Welcome to my little Easter Event hangout thread. Usually I try to have just a small thread for friends to come and chatter, but I've decided to mix it up this time and turn my event hangout into a bit of an avatar contest. Now let me tell you, I definitely have experience with avatar contests! After competing in the second season of Project Mene in the Avatar Chat forum and placing in the top three, and then joining the panel of judges for cycle three, I have since taken over the contest and am now in my second cycle as a host. On top of that, I have two wins in Admin's Pick as well as two in User's Pick.

Now the contest will be very straight-forward. I would like for any and all of you who wish to enter the contest to come up with an outfit that defines the holiday. I don't care if you want to submit an outfit designed around Easter eggs and candy or around the more biblical approach, but you must come up with an outfit that is Easter Inspired. You may enter as many times as you would like.

Now of course you know there is a prize for this contest. The winner will receive an Astral Halo and the second and third place winners will receive 2500g each thanks to Channah! So you get creative and prove that the devil doesn't always wear Prada! Show me what you've got for a chance to win!

Thats good. It's been raining on and off today. I love it! I wish it would rain continuously though rather than it being so bipolar haha. It doesn't rain enough here.

I'm glad it's not forecast to rain here, because with all likelihood it'd snow. :XP Even if it's spring, we still get winter weather until end of April with all hopes. I've known it to snow in June. :XP Bleh.

I like the rain though, just wish it'd be rain without the snow part.

well I can guarantee you that it wouldn't turn to snow here xD

I'm sure. -le sigh- Now I want it to rain here! :lol: There's a beauty to rain I can't really know how to explain it. I just love the sound. Perhaps it's because I'm tired and would love to fall asleep to the lull of raindrops hitting the window.

As compared to my siamese who thinks meowing will get me to open my mom's room up to him. xD

@Kale: Siamese cats are really vocal though, aren't they?
After a long time, I think I would be persuaded to open the door. xD;;

I know what you mean about the lull of the rain though. Its a really pretty sound. It just can't be mimicked in one of those sound things.

Pixore; Yeah they are! He's only vocal when he wants something though. Normally food, his water bowl filled, or his litter box changed (Yes, he tells me when it's too full for him!) :lol: but he also wants into my mom's room.

I can't let him in though because he goes under the bed and rips out everything under the bed. It's because I've had many cats and the bed is the one piece of furniture that has all the cats' scents on them. So my mom doesn't want her bed ruined. :lol:

He's made it a game to try to beat us to her door to get in. We also have this laser pointer for the case he does get in for him to chase out. He's made that a game as well. He'd run in and begin looking for the red dot!! :lol:

Seiki; Hehe, he always is. Though I don't find animals stupid.. he has to be the most stupid cat I've run across lol. He really can't judge distances because if you walk around a foot away from him he still thinks you're going to step on him or something. (And then later tries to trip you)

Too true.. I can't stand the mimic of sounds for ease of sleep. The mimicked sounds give me headaches!

Kale, your cat sounds like my friend's cat. Only he does it because he's playful and not because he's being paranoid that you're going to squish him.

I'm working on making Chicken Noodle Soup right now. I hate making it though.

I wouldn't mind if my Atreiyu were trying to play. He's cute when he plays true, but he rarely wants anything to do with me. Which I know how cats are but at the same time he keeps thinking I'm about to harm him or something. Something I'd never do. :XP
