I think the only really venomous animals we have here are snakes that can kill you? Not sure if the centipedes/spiders/scorpions/whatever else here are poisonous enough...

I saw a gnat come out of nowhere and died. My house is invaded by them, and they're no less scary than they were before they invaded.

I haven't seen anything poisonous around here.

Yeah, snakes aren't commonly seen either...or at least I have the worst luck when it comes to snakes. I never see any while others seem to run across them all the time in mountains.

The only way to kill them all… is winter.

Well as a kid my parents gave me the 'you're too young' line. Then it's 'you need to focus on your studies'. Then 'dorms don't allow pets', 'you already have another pet and the snake will eat it', 'you don't have the money', etc...

If I'm not living in a dorm right now that doesn't allow pets and I'd probably freak my roommate out, I'd just go buy one sneakily and be done with so by the time the parents find out it'd be too late to refund it.

One year when I lived in dorms, one of my friends got a pet hamster and hid it in her closet.

Oh, that happened back in college. Some people would keep little hamsters or some other kind of rodent pet and then they'd escape and you'd get people knocking on your door asking if you've seen a hamster or some other.

Yeah. XD They couldn't get cages because they'd be busted for having a pet, so they usually use cardboard boxes but the rodents would just chew a hole in them and disappear. xD

I had a pet fish back then, but he died after a few months. D:
