I should be working on my lesson plans for the week....but between that and the fact that my football team is losing terribly, I would rather be distracted by this awesome event!

It just sucks because I have to prepare to work for only 2 days this week! The rest of the week will be inservice days so I won't be teaching. So I'm just trying to figure out what to do and I'm like...eh...XD

@Maria: Depending on what class you teach, you could just watch a movie for those 2 days?

I have homework due monday and tuesday, then things will settle a little. but I've got two contests things I'm working on due the 30th. *sigh*
and I think people are most active on the last day of an event. a lot of people miss the first day completely.

i like watching movies in class. >.>

@Emma - I teach music grades PreK through 8th grade XD I want them to have some music stuff at least and I feel like movies in music are reserved for subs and that's it XD

you could teach about cool movie music scores though. or bring a playlist of music.

But but - you could do the Sound of Music!!
That way they'll learn history, learn music scores that are amazing, and it's suitable for all ages!
-watched that movie in every single music class I had, plus in English and History for many years-
