That's my only gripe about cold weather. Otherwise I love it.

It's pretty rough!! It drops into the -20s and doesn't get out of the negatives even during the day - but it does go to single digit negatives at least which is a mini-positive - had a pretty big storm on Friday that hit hard and it's been like this ever since :(

Me too! I live in the country so I'm not really around it, but I know there are a few homeless people in the cities around us - I believe the churches usually offer shelter in times like this

I do love cold weather as well. You can always put clothing on... when it's hot, removing your skin is such a pain!

I know how you feel - since the temps went low my throat and ears have been even worse - I think I'm developing a head cold from my sinuses! :( Doesn't help that everyone around me owns a woodstove now and I'm highly allergic - when it's this cold the smoke stays stagnant in the air and stays lower instead of rising

I can't comment on that one unfortunately! The only thing we have is an SPCA outside of the city and it's not very big or active - unfortunately my area is really rural so we don't have resources or things that bigger cities have - closest big city is about 2 hours away! :/

Oh! That does not sound good at all! I actually think I have to go buy an air filter tomorrow. Mom wants one.

It's not too bad at the moment! Mainly just drainage and my throat is sore and dry - the smoke still sucks though and makes me have a coughing fit outside - dang woodstoves!

My one positive is that the winter hasn't been too bad this year so I haven't run into this problem much And winter should hopefully be over soon!! I hope anyway lol It's usually pretty mild by my birthday and starting to pass - and my birthday is only a month away - so I'm counting down the days!!

yup. :) It's easy enough for me to separate the days with a few mod tricks. So I won't lose my place.

Ooooo - I got Macha this time! I've always wanted to try Macha - I see it in Anime and Manga and it looks so weird yet oddly enough makes me want to try it even more lol! I think it's seasonal though and comes in a lot of different flavors doesn't it? Though I think green tea is the most popular!
