I wish I could keep it but it's not worth what they want for it. All I'd use it for is lining but I didn't like it for regular painting.

Patchy: No way! I love SAI!! Im on my 15th day for trail. Im thinking of buying it. I only use it for line art as well, and sometimes cell shading, but I absolutely am in love with it. ^^
If you want, to keep it, try this:
Just delete it completely from your computer and reinstall the trail version. ^^
Im debating whether to get it, or do that. XD

It's a program of Japanese origin much like photoshop but it's more simplified and lacks many of photoshop's options. Though, unlike photoshop, it's pen tool is really solid and sharp looking which is great for lining pictures like the one in my sig. Though, I paint more like a traditional artist so in that case it lacks for me since photoshop is much more versatile in that way.

What I really want is painter X @__@

I can probably finish mine within the hour :3 I hope you don't mind, I'm going to try some thing a little more realistic.

*nods* it does really well for lining. I actually did a side by side comparison of lines in SAI, photoshop and corel painter essentials 3 and it really does have the nicest pen tool.

You can do that O.o I figured since it searches for previous installations when you install it that it might leave some kind of trace that you've installed it once before. Hm, I'm on day 25 so maybe I'll try that when it does expire ^^;;

^^ It does have the nicest lines. ^^
Some trail programs allow you reinstall and reinstall after the trail period is done. Worth a try. ^^

I have Painter X. And I love it above anything else. I also have a painterly style with colors, and its blending tools are just beautiful. I have Photoshop Elements 3, and I only use it for the highlighting tool, it really is great for lips. XD

OpenCanvas also has nice lines. ^^ I havent actually done lining it though. XD
