Oh weird :o I have mine set to where I post auto subscribes me and that still works

I've noticed a few times that I thought I subscribed to a thread but either I forgot or the system didn't actually subscribe me. I went back and subscribed again and that seemed to work for me.

I'm very grateful for that auto-subscribe feature. I'd never find my way back to most threads I visit - they'd all just become a blur.

I can't even find in the settings where that's an option now Like idk where I set that up lol

What, really? You have all the other options, right? Thread Display options, Date and Time, etc?

There's no 'no email notification' option? Should be the second one, right below 'do not subscribe.' Then it goes: instant, daily, weekly notifications. At least for me it does.
