I suppose that it depends more on the user; on the person.
Some people enjoy art more because it's sentimental. Sometimes it represents a number amount, which can be just as gratifying as a pixelated item like a Contribution item or common.

I believe I joined five days after Valentine's Day last year. I visit Menewsha every so often because I'm fond of this forum; it's very relaxed in my eyes. Everyone's so intimate, and the events are so well organized. Most of all, it's still user run, so it's flexible.

I'm waiting 2-3 different pieces I've commissioned from really good artists on gaia...which they were a little high, but totally worth it.
