I've never heard of it, but it looks super cute! I have a feeling my boyfriend's cousin could totally pull it off too, since she has a million clothes (at least I feel like she does)
I can imagine! It would be practically impossible for me to do with my current wardrobe. I would have to tone it down to once a month, and buy clothes the week before to pull it off xD
It would be more of something to make me go out and buy new clothes.
My sister showed me this the other day. I thought it was really cute and thought they were actually product line sort of things versus just trying to use normal clothes to dress up as them! It's really nifty though!
This is adorable! I've never heard of the project before, but it certainly sounds like fun. It just takes a creative mind to come up with everyday outfits that are still recognizable as the character, I'd be really impressed if I saw someone do this in real life.
Thanks ladies! I really had a lot of fun with it. I encourage you to give it a try! It's a fin way to match different colors or styles than you usually do and maybe get some use of of things you might otherwise not be using in your closet.
Ahh, this is awesome! Stealth cosplay is such a fun idea. I have so few items of clothing right now that I would fail quite hideously, but I should aspire to have a versatile enough wardrobe that I can whip out a Snow White on a whim.
I loved your outfit zigs. :)

Thanks Belly! You'd be surprised how much you can pull off with a simple blue dress for example, I know probably all of my Disneybound are going to use that piece.
Didn't get home till like 2am last night so I'm too tired to participate today but I was planning to be the Matchmaker from Mulan. >.<
I've done some poking around and I think that Briar Rose's forest dress has great color potential for my wardrobe. I have an old purse that looks a bit like a basket, even. Perhaps I can participate in this after all. ;D
Now I just need it to not be 100+ degrees outside.
What are some characters (besides Mulan) that dress primarily in browns?
There are a lot actually. The only one that immediately pops into my mind is Pocahontas but I know there are a lot more. I highly suggest taking a look at the Disney Bound Tumblr here:
I'd seen random posts on pinterest of DisneyBound...here I always thought it was just one person coming up with a bunch of clothing pairings. This makes it so much cooler. Now I have to tear through my wardrobe and see what I can find.
I'd love to do a belle version, in the white/blue dress of course, not the princess yellow. hmmm...
