((For those who do not know, a Ballad is a short song that can be read as a story. It's like a normal song but it sings a tale through short verses. This is my first time trying this so it might not look as well as a professional Ballad. I will warn you that most of what I write are in the form of tragic tales or violent tales. This is a story of a black cat.

At midnight when everyone is asleep, a voice gently sings.

I took a bite of something evil even though I knew it was wrong.

Though she's frail and can never come out I sing from out her window.
