I ran out of Greek and Roman myths by mid elementary school, so I branched out to everything I could.

There are myths in almost every society. I mean, even the US has its myths, they just tend to be boring and all about pioneers.

I've read a lot of Greek and Roman. Then there was a little Norse and Japanese. Then one or two from a mishmash of cultures.

The Japanese horrors really get me. Some of them are pretty crazy.
