There's a Japanese strategy game called Nobunaga's Ambition. They're crossing it over with Pokémon, so expect to see some historical shogunate characters fighting alongside their Pokémon!

You get to choose a male or female character paired up with an Eevee. I'm really excited for this!

but at the same time that game looks really cool!

From what I've heard from people who've played the Japan version with a 70% translation patch, the story is horrid but the gameplay still lives up to the Nobunaga's Smbition standards. Worth a purchase if you like SRPGs such as Super Robot Taisen and Fire Emblem, I guess. And of course if you like Nobunga's Ambition. This isn't the first game of the series to reach US shores, fortunately (though as in typical retro Japanese SRPG fashion, only a few came and way too late). Which brings to question: why rid the title of that part?

The original title was "Pokemon Conquest: Nobunaga's Ambition" or something along those lines. It just surprises me that they left out Nobunga's Ambition, considering it's another title in that series. XD

I have mixed feelings on this. Some of their plots are terrible. But the underlying plots of the main series games are absolutely fascinating to me.

@wolf: Maybe because they don't want kids to be confused by Nobunaga? And shortening it makes it easier to advertise, I would think... :sweat:
@Moog: I love Pokemon and it really breaks my heart to say that, but I meant it in a way that the plots become very predictable. I actually really really like the Unova plot because it's a bit deeper than "Team ____ is stealing all the Pokemon/trying to manipulate a legendary!" Meh. Maybe it's just me. :/

Nono, it's okay! The main plots are pretty predictable. And I definitely agree that Black and White were much different, and they were awesome for it. What I meant though is the underlying plots. The stories behind the main story. The backstory to the formation of the Pokemon world. Each individual Pokemon's Pokedex data, and mythos.

Oh, and I looked it up, Auri. It's actually just for the regular DS. :O
