Trust me, it's not as cracked up as its made out to be. There is a lot of poverty, its really sad. Work here is very scarce. To get a job, its the good ole boy system here. You have to know someone. It is beautiful for sure, but its extremely expensive. Living on a budget is an art over here for sure. The Euro is falling due to the Greek crisis.

Well anyway, not to discourage your travels over here because I think everyone should get the chance to travel and lots of culture and history. Its a lot more fun with friends. If you do make it over here stay at hostels, they are cheap and you meet lots of cool young people.

In Rome, I met 3 Canadian girls, 2 other guys from America, 2 guys from New Zealand and two girls from Germany.. we alll went out together after getting acquainted and we had a great time... so as a tourist, its cool.

Perhaps I'll just swing by then and stay for a little bit. lol I guess I should be grateful for what I have here in America, but I just can't wait to travel the world. And depending on who gets elected as President over here, I might just be considering moving to Europe no matter what. lol

I'll probably be traveling with my bf, I don't really have friends lol Plus I'm wanting to travel more for scenery and stuff like that, I'm not a big people person :lol:
