Ami climbed the stairs and knocked gently on the attic door "Sir." She whispered and then repeated until she heard a grunt - a sign that he was busy and uncaring of what she did. Ami scowled slightly, it seemed that man didn't like her much though was wiling to do what she asked. She put it down to Amaya without a second thought.

She jumped the last of the stairs nearly falling on her face, but catching herself just in time. She sat down with a heavy sigh next to Ravenelle. "So. You were saying."

Ravenelle opened her eyes and looked over at Ami. "Oh...at the club? I was saying I was curious about your reaction to a revelation of what I am." She smiled.

"Meaning you're not human." She stated. "Go on then, tell me what you are seen as you want to se e my reaction." Ami smiled warmly.

Ravenelle sighed and looked away. "Alright...I'm a Lycan." She said slowly and turned her gaze back to Ami waiting to see her reaction.

"Dang!" She said, slapping her knee. "If only I were male, then we come make a hybrid." Ami giggled "I've always wondered what it would be like to be half and half." She said, not giving away her own race.

Ravenelle smiled and shook her head. She didn't press to know Ami's race. She visibly relaxed. "Well, one of us could always go out and get pregnant." She said joking and smiled wider.

"True, but I don't know that many vampire guys." she tilted her head slightly "And crossing lycan with human would just be boring."

Ravenelle laughed. "True enough." Thinking for a minute, she came upon a thought. "Come to think of it...I don't know any vampire guys. Vampire human might be an interesting mix if not slightly cliche."

"Yeah, I guess vampire guys are the hardest to find." She smiled "So I know your name, age, race..." she paused "What about...Umm...Your sexuality?"

Ravenelle looked away for a second. "To tell you the truth, I don't know. I guess I'm bi." She said shrugging.

Ami smiled "I guess that's the best way to be. More choice that way. So was there a reason why you wanted to escape the bar quick and agreed to come to a stranger's house?"

Ravenelle sighed. "Yes, there was a reason I wanted to escape the bar...and a reason I agreed to come to a stranger's house. Remember how I told you I wouldn't join the guys in the club?" She asked. "Well, one of the alphas just won't take no for an answer. I think my father is behind it. I agreed to come because I trust you and I can make a quick escape if neccessary."

Ami wrapped her arms around Ravenelle's neck giving her a hug "I'll protect from the terrible that terrible thing." She said in a light voice.

Ravenelle nodded surprised. "Thank you...." She wasn't used to being hugged...nobody had hugged her in years.

"Want something to drink? Or anything?" she asked letting go of Ravenelle.

"I'd like some water please." Ravenelle looked at Ami. "If that's alright."

Ami nodded "Sure." She half jogged to the kitchen, grabbed a glass from the side and filled it with water from the tap. She returned and handed the glass to Ravenelle. "Feel free to stary however long you like."

Ravenelle took the glass. "Thanks." She looked around. "Would you tell me about yourself?" She asked.

"Well I'm nineteen." She lied, but then again Ami always did hate age. "No family or anything like that. As you can tell I live alone. I guess you'd say I'm bi and I'm a proper little vampire." She smiled "That enough info?"

Ravenelle smiled and nodded. "Yes. That's about as much info as I gave you." She took a drink of the water and looked around. "Have you lived here long?

Ami shook her head "Nope. Moved in recently." She smiled "But you probably already guessed that."

Ravenelle smiled. "I did. You're scent is really faint."

She smiled "Good thing I didn't lie then." She leaned back into the sofa.

Ravenelle nodded. "Good thing, but I probably wouldn't have called you on it." Finishing her glass of water, she set it on a nearby table and leaned against an arm of the couch. "Can I ask you a question? Why did you want to dance with me?"

Ami mused over the question for a few seconds before answering "Well you are pretty and you looked interesting." She replied casually.
