Morning, all! I was thinking about sitting outside to do some reading today, but uuuugh it's so hot and humid and gross.

I've got to sit down and read a few pages for anthropology and a chapter for history, so I can do my hw before it's due tomorrow. Your reading sounds more fun!

I didn't realize the next one was coming out so soon! I better put a hold in at the library. Yeah, I'd almost prefer Celaena to end up on her own, myself. ↘ I seem to have opposite opinions for a lot of books I've read. I don't mind though Maas tweeted recently that the only character that won't ever die is Fleetfoot So pretty much at this point anything could happen. I was pretty much over Rowan as soon as I met him. But it seems a lot of people are hoping for a Rowan x Celaena fling. bleh. I was too! It took me like a week to read The Assassin's Blade because I kept liking Sam more and more and I knew how it ended.

I have! and I own it, I liked it for the most part. There were a couple problematic scenes, but alas, still good writing.

Fantasy is my favorite book genre too! ^_^

I ended up not reading at all! ;a; I've not been in a reading mood lately, for some reason. I might take some time off from reading to see if that gets me excited about it again. :'(

At least Fleetfoot is safe. ;-; I hated Rowan until like... the last hundred pages of the book. Still absolutely want him to never ever be a romantic interest for Celaena! One, she's eighteen and he's... old as frick. Also, he treated her so poorly for so long! I like her forgiveness and them becoming friends, but I haaate romantic narratives that are 'you were really horrifically awful to me and now I am In Love with you!!' I don't like that stuff being normalized more than it already is. :/

Yes, I do love her writing style. I don't know that I'll ever read ACoTaR, because I've been feeling a bit over romance lately, but it's good to know that it's good if I ever do pick it up!

I get in trouble when I ask for as presents. ;; But my mom usually caves and gets me at least a few, even as she complains I already have too many. Often because she wants to read them herself. What all did ya ask for?

I do not have a favorite place to read. I can read anywhere as long as the book is good and there are not too many distractions. ^_^

I don't remember what all I asked for anymore. I made the list in June because my momma made me so mad complaining about my so-called late timing last year. I know there were dolls.

↘ I hate that so freaking much! And it's so reoccurring in Young Adult, it's horrible. It's so wrong, ugh. I'm always over romance, but it's so hard to get away from in Young Adult.
