His head was pounding to put it lightly, his eyes cracking open painfully as sunlight filtered in through the curtain and hit his eyes directly. He couldn't help but groan and close his eyes again, turning over in an attempt to fall back into sleep. Only to find his hand gently papping something soft and fleshy.

It was then Nate realized he had wandered into Regan's room in the night, snuggled under the blankets, and fallen asleep.

Nate yelped before moving, shuffling out from the covers and into the room proper, face almost beet red as he took the time to just breathe. It was then he realized that the uncomfortable pull of blood caked on skin was no long present, a quick glance downward revealing that he had showered. And left his clothes somewhere. He had crawled into Regan's bed stark naked.

A simple turn too fast to find his clothes (well his pants really that's all he had managed the night before) and he was suddenly reminded as to why he got up; hangover. Bile rose in his throat and he couldn't stop the nauseating pounding in his skull, slow and thick. He finally leaned back, slumping back in one of the plush arm chairs and lifting his hands to rub at his temples.

The slight stinging and pounding in his arm, still fractured and bruising, currently did not hold a candle to the horrible ache in his head.

((Haha well this took me a long while but I have an excuse and my excuse is that it snowed here and I kind of wrecked my car into another car because I lost traction and i have been stressed.))

Seeing that the twin witches are having their own conversations with her and Cade. Elizabeth ignores the female witch and looks over to the male asking for her name. She doesn't give an and instead asks "May I have your name first please? I am shy with strangers." She looks down to her side giving herself the appearance as if she is starting to get shy after this person asked for her name. She doesn't know if she can keep up the appearance of a child thinking that Cade might point her out, but she has no idea if he would care or bother at the same time. She didn't care that much though she was mostly doing this act more for fun since the host of this castle is standing nearby anyway.

((Ooo! There should totally be stables! We'll say that they're back behind the greenhouse, off to the right where there isn't any map left. I'll describe them.))

"Horses," he repeated strangely, as if he'd had to repeat her words to process them properly. "There are stables, at the back of the castle," he gestured. "They haven't been used...," since her. "In a long time." Animals didn't like Cade. They fled from him any time he entered their territories or space.

The stables would be quite large, able to accommodate 10+ horses. Aside from not having been used in decades, the wood seemed to be holding up okay, though the paint was completely worn and gone. There was dirt and spider webs everywhere. The water trough was bone dry and dirty, and parts of the wooden fence designed to let the horses roam but not run off, were broken down entirely. The stable itself was sat the edge of the forest, trees scattered around it. But the roaming area opened up into rolling hills beyond the forest line.

Cade's red eyes cut to the vampire child. He had mixed emotions at the sight of her. He'd always wanted a child of his own. But the woman he loved, she did not.... for various reasons. Still, he did not like games, and Maina had already given both of their names. "She is Elizabeth," he said, not taking his eyes from her. He didn't explain further. If the others realized her facade, fine. If they thought something else of her, fine. Cade didn't care so much at the moment.

His gaze fell onto Maina. Magic swirled around her throat. In a better condition, Cade would have been able to see right through it. In his current state, he seemed either detached from caring, or perhaps unwilling to let such things interfere with his euphoric feelings. He said nothing of it for now. But he did frown as he stared at that throat. It was lunch time.

"Are you hungry?" he asked them. He looked to Elizabeth. "You are not to feed from the village," he said lazily. She could feed from the surrounding villages, but not the immediate one. There were also a couple of humans living here, though she might be surprised at what she'd find trying to feed from Katerina. Speaking of that girl. She was meant to cook the meals here for guests.

"Our cook," and she'd been a horrible one anyway, "is incapacitated today." He wondered if any of the others could cook, or would be willing to. Cade, unlike most vampires, not only required blood, but also human food to survive, for reasons unknown to the others for now. Besides, he was very much still in the habit of eating meals in the dining room.

His thoughts trailed back to Bell. Shit, he'd forgotten again. "Feel free to wander the castle," he said, "Make my home, yours. If you'll excuse me," he added. With that, Cade moved to and up the stairs of the foyer. He walked to Bell's room, and stood outside for many moments too long. Finally, he knocked. The door was locked, though it wouldn't have stopped Cade if he hadn't wanted it to. But he was trying to treat the situation delicately. Not something usual for Cade.

"Bell," he said, after knocking lightly.

Regan stirred, groaned lightly. Someone was touching him. A familiar enough scent filled his nose, before he heard feet touch the floor, shuffle about a bit. Slowly, he cracked his eyes open and smiled, seeing Nate in the room. It was nice, waking with someone else there.

He chuckled a bit. "So, you decided to join me, did you?" The warmth ... he felt the lack of having someone else near. And yet, having company at all was nice. Wonderful.

Gwen shifted. Her eyes slid open. The world came alive. She could see so many things... It was so different now. Every detail leaped to life, the weave of a piece of cloth, the texture of stone. Her throat ached. The deep thirst she'd felt yesterday reared its head, but it was easier to ignore.

The petite fledgling slid from her bed, and wandered to the wardrobe. She plucked up a deep red dress, the color of dark wine, and slipped it over her head before stepping out of the room. The scooping neckline, close cut dress with a flared skirt, showed off Gwen's assets. Her hair was mussed.

She closed her eyes, listened And then she turned, catching sight of Cade. She took a few hesitant steps towards him, unsure of her welcome. He had turned her into a vampire... She'd accepted out of grief, and helplessness. Gwen felt unsteady. Lost. What was she supposed to do now? Who could give her those answers? Cade?

Bell jolted slightly at the knock and call of his name. He hadn't been sleeping, but he had been dozing. Off and on dozing, he hadn't gotten any real sleep except maybe a full hour's worth. He rubbed a hand over his face for a moment and slowly stood, that cloak hugged tight against his chest and face still half hidden against part of it. It was so soft, with a slight grunt Bell unlocked the door and pulled it open. Then he turned and went back to the bed, just falling on to it and curling around that cloak.

"I hate being up when the sun is up." He muttered the words with a tone of annoyance, but he wasn't blaming Cade for waking him. No, he couldn't get any real sleep anyway, even with the sun up. "I can't sleep. I never have trouble sleeping." He held to that cloak tighter and completely hid his face against it. Inhaling deeply, taking in that rich, familiar scent. "I don't know what to do."

The other hadn't yelled at Cade to leave. That was a good sign. He stepped inside and followed Bell to the bed sluggishly. He flopped down on it, on his back, beside Bell. Cade never flopped. But he did relate to Bell. At least in one way or another. His glassy eyes drooped shut for a moment. The euphoria, it was, so good. Yes, he related to Bell's pain, but not anymore.

Cade could think of a few ways to end Bell's pain. Death. Though that wasn't really an option. Cade, despite what he wanted others to think, would never kill Bell. He could erase Red from Bell's memory entirely. But somehow the hurt and emptiness always seemed to cling to people when such a thing was done. Not to mention, since Bell was a vampire, it might be hard for him to retain forged and fake memories to fill the gaps.

Then there was Katerina. But Cade was unsure that Bell would choose that path. Surely Bell wanted to feel this way. The other would blame himself, and in turn feel he deserved the pain. It seemed classic. But Cade knew that feeling all too well. Telling himself that he deserved his pain. Without it, he would have lost all touch with humanity. Is that what he was doing now? Losing touch again.....

After a long silence, Cade's red eyes opened again. There was never anything anyone could say in situations like these. Simply having someone there, that could be the best remedy sometimes. A strong arm snaked around Bell, and Cade pulled the other into his bare chest. If Bell didn't want to be alone, Cade would stay. If he didn't want to be awake, Cade would sleep, too. He welcomed the sleep now, in fact. But if Bell wanted to talk, Cade would listen. If he wanted to cry, Cade would hold the other tightly, and let him cry. In short, Cade wasn't trying to go anywhere quickly, and he was certainly trying to make up for the way he'd acted before.

Bell didn't look up when Cade joined him on the bed, but when that arm went around him and pulled him close, Bell lifted his head. He stared at Cade's face, taking in the other's appearance. The glassy eyes, the more relaxed way his entire body seemed. "You're high again." His tone was almost bitter. How could Cade be here for him when he wasn't even all the way here? It didn't matter though, did it? Bell was frowning, but he ran his hand down Cade's chest.

That bitterness had melted away almost instantly. A new thought had entered Bell's mind, would Cade share? "Can I try it? This thing you do to yourself with Katerina's blood, would it make the pain go away?" He sounded a little uncertain, but also determined. This pain was so hard to bear, if he could just make it go away for just a little while, Bell was sure he'd be alright.

Cade's eyes had drooped shut again, only cracking open when Bell ran his hand down his chest. He half smiled. "Yes," he mumbled. "The pain is gone," he said, as if he'd had to inspect himself to be sure he'd be answering that truthfully. And it was true. He half smiled again. The thought that Bell's pain could be taken away so easily, made Cade genuinely happy.

His thoughts trailed back to a woman he once loved. They'd done this together, too. It had brought them closer, and pushed them away from each other at the same time. Only, he had been feeding from her, not sharing with her. It didn't matter anymore, and it was hard to dwell on such things now. That's what Cade wanted for Bell, for him to not have to dwell on things, to feel this euphoria, even though it wouldn't last.

His eyes found Bell's. "Come," he said, "The human will be waking soon," he added, not explaining that he needed to lock her up again before she tried to run away, or sobered up and gave him away to the others. He took Bell's hand gently for Cade, yet in a strong grip, and tugged him off the bed as he stood. The idea that Bell would do this with him, excited him in a way that caused his euphoric feeling to double, and he couldn't help but smile down at the other.

Without thinking that he was giving too much of himself away with his next actions, he pulled Bell's body to his. "Close your eyes," he mumbled. Once Bell's eyes were closed, Cade mumbled again, "Open them." Bell probably would have noticed they were in Cade's room by the scent, before he ever opened his eyes. But there they were, still standing in the same position they had been in in Bell's room. Cade was smiling again. He gestured to Katerina who was just beginning to wake on the bed, before moving to close his door and lock it.

Katerina looked a little worse for the wear. But not as a prisoner who'd caused something horrible might. Her lip was healing, but busted, thanks to Gwen. Her wrist and throat had holes. And there were various bruises here and there. But, she honestly didn't look half bad. Not compared to prisoners of Cade's in the past, who endured torturous days and nights and slow deaths. In fact, as dark olive green eyes opened, she looked like she was waking up from a good sleep. She was still wearing the dress-like slip, and yawned before sitting up to see Cade and Bell. Her long dark hair was a mess, and she seemed to be in a lazy haze of sorts.

((Edited. Wanted to show off one of Cade's powers, lol.))

Bell let Red's cloak fall as Cade tugged him from the bed, he was a little uncertain. Something like this would certainly dull the senses, would he even be able to fight back if someone did attack them again? Would that even really matter anyway? He closed his eyes, pressed against Cade's body. That strong body, Cade would protect him, surely. Moments later he was opening his eyes, Cade's room. He had known before those eyes opened, but he had expected to be taken to the dungeon.

His eyes fell on Katerina when Cade gestured towards her. This was her fault, the pain in his heart, that ache that was nearly crushing him under it's weight. It was all because of her, Bell growled, that anger flaring up inside of him rather violently. It almost over took the pain, but not quite. His body had tensed. He knew they had been coming to her, but actually seeing her, being this close to her. Bell wanted to kill her.

He grit his teeth for a moment, this would be a better punishment than death. To feed on her blood a little at a time, letting it ease the pain she had caused until eventually she wilted away like a flower. Bell was hesitating, but in the next few moments he was on the bed next to her. Fangs exposed as an arm slipped around her waist and pulled her closer.

Bell bit into her, just above the collarbone, letting his fangs pierce deep into her flesh. He shuddered softly when the first drops of her blood entered his mouth. She was delicious. His eyes slipped closed and he drank deeply from her. The feeling washing over him felt good, so good. This was the kind of thing a person could get addicted to.

Slowly he pulled his fangs from her, a calmness, a peacefulness had settled over him and it felt good. He made a soft sound of contentment and for a moment he just snuggled against Katerina, then slowly he was pulling away from her. His movements were sluggish, almost lazy as he moved to lay across the foot of the bed.

Bell was smiling, and he just wanted to lay there and bask in this euphoria. This new sensation that completely engulfed him, it felt so good. He wriggled a few fingers and smiled even wider at the sound it caused. He was actually enjoying that jingle jangle that followed his every movement.

Katerina was telling herself that she should be afraid. She knew she wasn't in her right mind, and Bell was here, and he was angry. But it was impossible to feel scared. Her heart rate wouldn't even pick up now. She did wonder why they were both there, but then Bell was on the bed, pulling her closer. For the briefest of moments, fear broke through, but it was gone as quickly as it had come.

Bell's fangs pierced a new set of holes in her delicate flesh, and the pull of blood from her veins lulled her back into relaxation. When he pulled away from her, Katerina's thoughts were even hazier. Poison and blood loss would do that to a human after all.

Cade smiled at Bell's smile, and was completely elated. It had worked. All he wanted to do was lay with Bell in the bed, the both of them feeling good. But first.... Cade scooped Katerina up off the bed. "Wait here," he said to Bell, moving to unlock his door and open it. He stepped out and descended the stairs all the way down into the dungeon.

He stepped into the stone room with the single barred door where a chain attached to the center of the floor still sat. Katerina mumbled something about the cold room, but Cade wasn't paying attention. He sat her on the floor and reached for the shackle. Katerina shook her head and moved away sluggishly. "No," she said in a small, weak voice. But Cade was reaching for her, grabbing onto her ankle and pulling her back to the chain.

He clasped the shackle around her ankle. "Please," she begged, though her voice seemed somehow void of emotion in her current state; weak and tired. "Please don't leave me down here," she pleaded.

Cade was ignoring her. He reached for her wrist, the one that didn't have holes yet and brought it to his mouth. His fangs pierced the delicate flesh there, and pulled the contaminated blood from her body, and would continue until he was certain she couldn't stand to lose any more.

Gwen stepped closer to Bell's room. She peeked inside cautiously, but found it absent of life. A wolfish scent lingered. Red. She swallowed hard, and shook her head, before stepping away. She thought of Cade, and felt drawn down to the first floor, into his study. A set of stairs led up. Without hesitation, the young woman followed them to the open door. The room beyond, all reds and golds, somehow weren't what she expected of the castle owner.

Jingling bell sounds made her step inside, and walk to the bed. Blood scent lingered in the air, familiar. Katerina, again. Gwen shook her head and sat on the bed beside Bell. "I thought the bells annoyed you, Bell." He looked ... so unlike himself. She wanted to prod and poke him until he was angry, frustrated, again. This wasn't the Bell she'd seen with Red, the one who could be kind, but rough with anyone but those he was close to.

Bell just wanted to lounge, basking in this new found happiness. An artificial happiness but it was better than anything he had been feeling before it, of course at the moment he didn't care how artificial or real it was. All that mattered was it was there, and he was experiencing it and it was good. When Cade told him to wait, Bell turned his head towards the other and pouted. The pout didn't stay there very long, that smile quickly replacing it.

"Hurry back, I might get lonely in this big empty bed without you." He was teasing, feeling playful and good. Then Cade was gone with Katerina, and Bell's eyes were on his hands. He was holding them up, almost as if he were reaching for the ceiling, and wiggling his fingers a bit. That jingling noise, as far as he was concerned, he was making beautiful music.

Another presence slipped into the room, but Bell didn't seem to notice until they spoke. He continued to move his hands and fingers, as he turned his head to look at her with those glazed over eyes. "Oh Gwen." He spoke the words rather pleasantly, a smile on his lips. His voice was light, not weighed down by anger or agitation or sadness. "How nice of you to join us." He moved his hand, as if to gesture to someone, then stopped. "Cade was just here." That smile didn't seem like it wanted to leave his lips, but now his attention had drifted from Gwen back to watching his hands.

Gwen glanced at Bell, staring at him like the man had grown a second head. "What's wrong with you?" He wasn't grieving for Red. That felt wrong. It felt horrible. She wanted to drag him outside, and make him sit down at his friend's grave. But maybe he hadn't been able to deal with that, those feelings. The two of them had been so close, even she could see that.

The loss had to have devastated Bell. Gwen sighed and flopped onto the bed. "The bells are sounding good today." He was making music with those odd sounds of his. A delight to the ears. It was the strangest thing ... The day was going to be full of oddball things, if this was how it started.

"Wrong?" He glanced at her, that lazy, euphoric smile on his lips. "Why would you think anything is wrong. It's a lovely day and I'm just enjoying it. You should relax more, you seem tense." He had only glanced at her for a moment, his eyes, were back on his hands as he moved his fingers in specific patterns, as if to make specific jingles of those invisible bells.

"They do sound good, don't they?" He seemed content enough to just sit there and make lovely sounds with his invisible bells. At some point he even began to hum along with the jingling.

Maina’s head cocked to the side as Cade talked. Something was definitely off about him. It was almost as if he was...high? But that couldn’t be right?

Next to her, Euphores was trying hard to not snap at the girl. Maina had spoken his name had she not? He was saved from his sarcastic remark by Cade thankfully. The witch only had so much patience with being nice and it was wearing out, quickly. Pale green eyes watched the Castle owner closely, filing away everything he was picking up from him. His evil mind coming up with ways to use the information against the vampire. He would let his sister do all of the talking for now.

The second Cade’s gaze fell on her throat she shifted slightly. For some reason she had a feeling that he could see behind her glamor spell if he chose to. Her hand itched to grab her cloak and cover her throat with it but she refrained, it would have made her look guilty.

When asked if they were hungry the twins shook there head no. Maina perked up a bit when she heard the cook was incapacitated, maybe she would be able to cook. She loved to cook, she was a witch after all. They cooked up everything and anything, food and potions wise.

After Cade bid them farewell the twins glanced over to the girl. Maina gave her a smile and bowed her head. “Thank you so much for the welcome. My brother and I must go take care of our horse now. I bet we’ll be seeing each other around soon enough.”

Both twins turned, cloaks billowing out behind them and made their way outside. Euphores let out a whistle and both horses came trotting over to them. After they both swung up into their saddles they took off for the back of the Castle. They quickly found their way there and after hopping down, led the horses into the stables.

“Clean it up Maina,” Euphores barked out after glance at all the dirt and spiderwebs. “I’ll be waiting outside since I can’t leave you in this filth and head back to the Castle.” He was talking about their curse. The both of them were cursed to always be near each other, 100 feet to be exact. But that story was for another time and place.

After Euphores left the stables to stand right outside the door Maina let out a heavy sigh and looked around. Racking her brain she came up with an incantation and spoke it. Right before her eyes the dirt and grime vanished. Being a witch was quite handy. Maina quickly led the horses into stalls next to each other. Then reaching under her cloak she pulled out the leather satchel that was hanging across her body. The bag was spelled so whatever she asked for in latin would appear before her. It was also spelled to carry an obscene amount of stuff and barely weigh nothing.

“[Avene et frumentum].” A large bag of oats and corn appeared before her and she filled the food trough. When she was done she spoke in latin once more. “[Revertimini a quo tu egressus es]”

Now all she needed was to fill the water trough up. She could conjure it from the air but that took a lot of energy. Her eyes scanned the place until it fell upon a rusty old water spicket. Maina quickly walked over to it and pulled the handle, nothing. Closing her eyes she pressed her hand to the spout and concentrated. She was going to use her magic to get the water flowing again, this process used much less energy. After a minute she got it working and soon filled up the water trough’s using a bucket she found.

Then finally she unsaddled and brushed the horse’s before walking outside to find Euphores. He didn’t say a word, just took off towards the Castle. Maina couldn’t help but sigh in relief and follow after her brother, as far back as she could be. As they walked back she took in all the sights. The place was the most beautiful thing she had ever seen. Soon they were upon the Castle and they walked back inside. “Rooms,” was all her brother said before going in search of them.

Finding ones right across from each other they both parted ways. Once behind her closed door Maina unbuckled the clasp of her cloak and threw it into an armchair. Now that she had her thick cloak off you could see that her white hair was wavy and that it fell down to her hips. It was parted down the middle with two braids on each side of her head, tied together at the back of her head. She had on a floor sweeping, multi colored long sleeved dress. Grabbing her leather satchel she pulled it over her head and dropped it onto the foot stool.

Letting out a heavy sigh she sank down onto the bed and lowered her head into her hands. Her peace and quiet time lasted for all of a minute before Euphores burst into her room. “We need to find the library so we can break this damn curse. Come.” With that he spun around and stalked out of her room. Getting to her feet Maina left her room and followed after her brother, like she had a choice.

"You aren't usually so ... happy." He was humming. She smiled a bit, and hummed along to the jingling. Without really thinking about it, she reached out and pressed her fingers against the vampire's. She flexed, and smiled a bit hearing the gentle tinkling of bells. She couldn't really imagine how anyone could think such delightful little sounds were annoying.

Bell was going to kill her after he got off his high. "They sound wonderful." She hesitated. "Bell, do you hate me?"She was Cade's fledgling. She still wondered why he had kissed her, pressed so close to her... And then, he'd left her. Abandoned her in the hands of a stranger. Bell had rescued her from that situation, despite his obvious dislike of her.

All sorts of different gestures have happened in the short time she was around to greet the new guests and be a nice face to be around unlike that constantly high Cade that seems to be the owner of this castle. Well she only seen him twice, but he does always seem to be out of it anyway so she assumes he is high. She didnt even know vampires could do that she is learning new things everyday here.

Cade had pointed out her name which she found annoying and gave him a quick glare, but he said nothing else about her. She had no idea if it was because of the glare or if he even noticed it at all. After a little bit of talking over where Cade was she could see a bit on the male witches face that he wasn't enjoying her and she was loving it. She loves to pick on people and he seems like the irritable type unless she was reading his face wrong. There was a smile on her face as she saw that this person seemed to be holding himself back from snapping, but she kept the smile as if she was just a normal child still and as the female thanked her and bowed Elizabeth bowed with her.

Everyone left her and there she was just a lonely old girl. Whatever. She thought to herself. That was a waste of time. Time to go back to the original plan of being here. She contined to think to herself. She was referring to exploring the castle. She takes a little bit of a walk and enters the first room she sees which ends up being the Grand Ball room. It is empty for now though, but still interesting she hasn't actually been in a place like this before.

"Does it matter?" It didn't matter at all, not to Bell. He was feeling good and that in itself felt rather great. She touched his hand and he immediately, without hesitation or much thought, entwined his fingers with hers. He moved that hand up and down in a slow, almost mellow motion. Of coursing moving her hand along with his. The sound the bells made were almost harmonious, relaxed and happy.

When she asked her question, all movement stopped and with it the jingling. At least until he moved his head to turn it so he could look at her. Did he hate her? Right now Bell wasn't even sure, the only thing he was sure of, was that he was in a good mood and it was wonderful. He did know that he had found Gwen extremely annoying though right now he just couldn't muster up that emotion at all.

Right now the only thing he was feeling was pure bliss and it was wonderful."You should smile more, it's such a lovely day." He hadn't answered the question, in fact, he had already forgotten what the question was. Bell didn't want to think about negative emotions or anything like that. He just wanted to enjoy this bliss he had found. "Now shush and enjoy my beautiful music with me." He gave her hand a slight squeeze and began to move his free hand around, still holding gently to her hand with his other one.

Katerina was laying on the cold stone floor now, unconscious. Cade dropped her wrist and stood. It felt hard for him to do. Even as a vampire, his body was feeling numb, overall impossibly good. He left the cell, sluggishly, not using his vampire speed. He didn't bother to close the door, Katerina was attached to the floor anyway. Not that he'd actually had any of those thoughts.

He made his way lazily up the stairs, through the study and to the top of his tower. He stepped into the room to see that Gwen was there. He didn't seem to mind, even though normally he'd have been less than cool about someone inviting themselves into his room without his permission. Now, he crossed the floor and flopped down onto the bed on the other side of Gwen. This felt good. He was happy, Bell was happy, the bed felt like a cloud, he couldn't remember any of the things that he wanted to forget. Cade smiled and his red eyes drooped shut, though he wasn't sleeping, just relishing the euphoria.

"Oh fine." She found herself smiling a bit. It was true, Bell's jingles were happy today, enjoyable. Still, Gwen was worried about him. She'd never seen him in such a state before. Then Cade walked in, just as blissful looking, just as lethargic ... And he smelled of Katerina.

When the red eyed man plopped down beside her, Gwen tilted her head to stare at him. She turned her head to see Bell again with a frown, then back to Cade her eyes went. There was something off about the man who'd turned her into a vampire. He wasn't like Bell ... not completely. He wasn't a full vampire? Was that it?

Panic and a sick feeling made her stomach lurch. Her hand tightened, hard, around Bell's.

Nate twitched the moment more noise hit his ears, the familiar voice pounding through his head in thick throbs. He nodded shakily, rubbing his head.

"Guess so," he mumbled, keeping his eyes screwed shut to keep out the light out. "Not sure how or why. Everything after the kitchen...ugh." He was mumbling now, trying desperately to make the incessant pounding of his skull lessen.

Everything was a blur to him. After he had stood to exit the kitchen, leaving Bell to mope on his own, everything had gone fuzzy. Murky. Any attempt to grab it caused it to slip away. Not that he really wanted to. Just caused his head to pound even more.

He groaned again before finally cracking open his eyes, watching Regan. "So..." he croaked, closing his eyes and rubbing them. "How did 'snooping' go last night?"

When Cade entered the room, Bell tilted his head and turned it slightly to watch the ancient move towards the bed. That smile on his lips as Cade flopped down on the bed, this good feeling, it wasn't one Bell wanted to lose, ever. When Gwen's grip on his hand tightened, he smiled at her. "You should relax more. Today's a good day, I can feel it. Right, Cade?" He peered around her at the ancient for a moment.

He had stopped trying to make coherent music, now the only jingling of his bells was when he had moved his head to peer around Gwen at Cade. "I feel like I'm floating." He did somewhat feel like that, and this bed, had it always been so comfortable? He pulled his hand out of Gwen's and laced his own fingers together, putting those hands behind his head. This was nice. If things could remain this nice forever, that would be wonderful.

The redhead slid to his feet and knelt to rummage trough his bag. He pulled a worn t-shirt from inside, and slid the white cloth over his head. He tugged it into place before saying anything. "Someone here knew my aunt. Knew her and loved her enough to sketch dozens of drawings of her."

Might it be Cade? Could it be Bell? He had no idea, but he wanted to find it. No, Regan needed to find out. The vampire shifted to his feet and moved to walk past Nate. He looked at the other man uncertainly. "I have no idea what to do about it, or about your hangover." He was careful no to speak too loud, or make too much noise.

Gwen slid from the bed and stared down at the two men, hands on her hips. "Are you two in a good mood enough to actually teach me how to be ... whatever I am?" She shook her head. "You two just feel so ... different from each other. Am I just imagining things?" She was new at this, being immortal, being able to sense things that made her feel like she'd been blind as a human.

She wanted answers. She wanted help. She wanted these people to care for her! A pillow plucked itself from the bed and smacked her right in the face. Gwen spluttered and stared at the offending piece of softness with narrowed eyes and pursed lips. Just another thing to worry about, she supposed.

Cade's eyes didn't open yet, though he did crack a lazy smile at Bell's words. Hmm, it was indeed, finally a good day. And for the other now, too. He remembered his first time feeling this way. "Isn't it great?" he mumbled.

He did finally crack a single red eye open to look at Gwen who was standing at the edge of the bed now. Any other person Cade might have sent away, leaving him and Bell to themselves. Gwen and all her talking. He closed his eyes again and waved a hand dismissively.

"You seem to have manage not going on a new blood killing spree. I'd say my work is done," he said lazily. How often anyone was ever really taught anything about the creature they'd become, was rare. While, in a perfect world, they'd have all been given handbooks, tutorials and demonstrations, this world was not perfect. Far from it in fact.

Besides. Cade taught no one, anything. He didn't change people for this very reason. It was a bother. He cracked an eye again as a pillow slapped Gwen in the face. While he'd have loved to have been able to claim credit for that, it hadn't been him. So she was already showing signs of power. His power of course. At least this one was from the part of him that was vampire.

He closed his eyes again. "Practice makes perfect Gwen," he said with a mischievous smile. He tried to pick up his shield again, to hide what he was. He never let that down, even in this state. But perhaps he had slipped. No, it was just that Gwen was turned by him, thus, like him. She'd be able to see through his shield because of that. At least she wouldn't know what she was finding. Good. He didn't feel like explaining things right now.

Cade rolled onto his side, red gaze watching Bell with a lazy smile. "Do you want to do something fun?" he asked, another mischievous tone in that lazy drawl.

((Sorry so short, just wanted to start them on their quest for the book!))

After searching for awhile the twins finally came upon the library. Maina was in complete awe at the sight before her. As a book lover this room was a haven. One she wished she didn't have to share with her nasty brother.

"Get to work!" Jumping at the bark in Euphores tone she quickly stopped ogling the place and entered. Where in the world was she suppose to start?

Letting out a huff off air Maina decided to start on the bottom floor and work her way up. For her safety and her sanity she needed to find the book that would break the curse on them.

Maina worked on the left side and Euphores on the right.
