It looks as though Channah's bar has gone down.
I thought I was decreasing the bar simply by taking the yarn. I didn't know SPENDING it was the way to decrease the bar. Nifty!

Yep! I've got all the ones released so far. :3 Don't forget to go to the Snowfield if you are having trouble finding them. XD;

Take as much as you like! Only spending it in the Event Store negatively affects the bar. :3
I wouldn't give up hope on Channah. I'm sure many people will start donating once they've got as much as they want from the event store. XD

Yes, I'm sure that's what Lillix was referring to. :)
I'm loving the work put into this season's event items, especially the cloak. I'm a sucker for warm, fluffy things right now. Instant win!

The Channah and Greed bar is an indicator of how much I donated or is it the global donations of all the people?

It's globally. All the donations made by all the teams and non-team people combined. :)

Yes... on the back-end. Insomniac has been posting these statistics to the AAs. We can easily know exactly who is donating exactly how many.
There is no user-accessible way to see specifically.

I have a question about donating yarn.
Is it based purely on like ''Team Yellow donated three yarns, Team Blue donated five, etc''
Or is it like ''Team Yellow has five people on it and each one donated four yarn, Team Blue has twenty people on it and each one donated one'' where even though they both donated the same AMOUNT of yarn, one donated more per person?
Does that make sense?

Your question makes sense, Squid.
For the winner, the activity of a team is taken into account more than the size of the team.
The system is keeping track of how active any of the teams are. For example, let's say that Team Orange has 300 members signed up for it. However, only 10 members are actually active during the event. If we were judging based on pure numbers, there is no way that 10 active Team Orange members will be able to out-perform the 160 active members of Team Indigo. However, Team Indigo may donate less, proportionally, than Team Orange.
What you are looking at when you see "Most Yarn Donated" is probably the raw data of the first, ie: Red team donates 20 yarn. Yellow team donates 4 yarn. That list does not necessarily show which team is actually most generous in proportion to active team members, just what number they donated by numbers.
Anyway, long and the short of it is:
- Don't assume that Team Evergreen will win. They may not have the actual statistics that support this.
- Don't assume Team Star will lose.
- Never give up; never surrender.

I want to give you a pony and a cookie and a very big hug.
A question based on what you just answered: does that mean that the activity per team member will be averaged out? So that, say, one really really active team member could make up for several who are not quite so active?
Or will the number of active team members be the thing?

Active team members are those who count.
For instance, we'll pretend that JohnUser is part of the Indigo Team. He has joined the team, but neither spent yarn nor donated any, not posted, and not collected snow. His account is "null" and does not count.
JaneUser is also part of the Indigo Team. She's spent 50 and donated 8, posted, and collected 10 buckets. So JaneUser puts the team into negative, thanks to the spending habits she has.
TomUser is part of the Indigo Team. He's posted and collected buckets. He's donated 50 and spent 8.
If Team Indigo were made up of just those three users, their Yarn total = 0. Now, JaneUser and TomUser may have otherwise contributed to the team by posting and collecting buckets, but Yarn Donation is weighted more significantly than anything else.

Refresh your page?
You can only collect once every 10 minutes. So if you get a bucket at 10:01pm, you cannot collect another until 10:11pm... exactly ten minutes later.
The page will not show how many buckets you have until you refresh.
