I don't even think it matters eh, *pokes* I'm only a wee bit older than you
but they STILL made us dance to that song...... Same thing with Cotton eyed joe being a huge thing in middle school, and that cha cha song being big in high school.....
This is why I don't really listen to much popular pop music ;)
Great... No I gotta get frosting outta my hair! *glares at Woody*
And I don't remember the reason really why my mom pulled me out. I seem to remember that she didn't like the way my school was going and didn't like the principal at all so she decided to teach me herself. Well.. She taught me English and grammar and my oldest sister taught me literature and my dad taught me math and second oldest sister taught me spelling!
You know TWO versions?? As if one isn't bad enough... :XD !!
XD Yesh but dancing is fun.. even if the song is silly.
My mom was really close to pulling my brother Adam out of school when we were in Elementary school. He was a distracted learner to say the least.... Very smart, but yah. School was never his thing. He learns reading himself. I was the same way to a certain point. I did better in school than him, by far, but it was all to easy when we were younger. So, I didn't care so much till I got older.
*Dances around Carn and takes some frosting out of his hair* Carn is a cupcake! A cupcake! ;)
Yah, he did stay in public school. Though... he would have benefited from my mom's teaching him at home. She is one smart cookie. My brother is really intelligent like I said, but he can't write to save his life. I made him dictate a paper to me just to prove to him that he COULD get out his argument, he just didn't type well enough or fast enough so he got frustrated and it comes out horridly.
Well, I didn't think I could write till my later days in high school... before that, one teacher told me my writing was bad in middle school, so I thought it was too. Now I know it's because I didn't really CARE to write well. I ended up tutoring people in essay writing, en 101 and 102 and biology and geology at my first college. :P
