She grinned. "You're adapting well. We'll stop come dawn and you can feed again. It will take about three days to reach the clan manor."

He nodded and stood. "I'll just follow your lead." he whispered softly. He was ready to run.

And so she took off. Her speed was great and her movements were fluid and graceful as a dancers. She had the hood of her cloak pulled down over her head. The moonlight pratically shined off of her pale skin.

He watched her go and then took off with the same great speed. soon he was right behind her and smiled. His pearly white fang showing. This was so lovely.

Finally, sometime later, dawn came. She stopped at a small dry cave. "You'll have to stay here. I need to go feed so you can feed." She said. She pulled a dagger from a holster on her thigh, under her frock. "I need you to go in so I can create a blood gate."

Jack nodded and got in, making himself comfortable against the wall. "Good luck!" he said as he was feeling sleepy.

"Okay." She said. She made a long slash in her palm, and let the blood pour across the enterence of the cave. "I'll be back soon. Nothing can get you as long as I'm conscious and that blood mark stays." She said, then took off towards the nearest town.

He smiled and waved her off, soon he was curled up and fast asleep.
He slept well he had no fear for anything. His attidude was changing, from boy to a man.

About two hours later she returned, full enough to have fed herself, and to feed him. She came in and kneeled down beside him. "Jack... I back." She said, kindly, softly.

He woke and looked up at here. "ah welcome back, my dear." he smiled and took her into his lap. Ready to feed from her, but didn't just yet. He kissed her neck gently, thanking her that way before he sank his teeth into her skin.

She could feel her pulse quicken as he kissed her neck. Then when his fangs peirced through again, she could feel that pulse pushing the blood to the surface, to his warm lips. She closed her eyes as the vampire's natural sedative calmed her.

When he was done he kissed the wounds and held her closely. "Maria, Rest some, you've done enough for today. tonight, we'll travel." he said calmly. He was sounding so much more mature.

She noted that change in him and smiled calmly. "Yes... M'lord..." She said, drifting off in his arms.

He was watching out for her and held her, soon he too fell asleep.

She slept well in his arms and slept straight through the day. When finally sunset came, she stirred from her deep sleep.

Jack was awake watching her wake. Smiling he stroked her hair and smiled. "morning sunshine." he whispered.

"Actually, it's good evening, but it works for me." She said with a slight grin. She looked out of the cave. "How hungry are you right now?"

He shook his head. "NO, shall we continue?" he asked her as he looked at her with a sweet smile.

"Yes. Let's." She said with a nod. She pulled herself up standing and pushed her ebony hair back over her shoulder. She picked up the cloak and put it around her, then offered her hand to help him up.

He got up using her help. Then he got his cloak fixed before patting her shoulder. "Lead." he said as he waited for her to run off.

She nodded and took off into the crisp autumn night. It was cool and the moon what almost full. "At least it's a good night to travel."

He nodded as he followed her lead. "Yes...It is. And please, stop calling my Lord, I am not." he said and smiled. "Just Jack, please."

She chuckled. "Sorry. I just kind of became habitual about it over this past month."

HE smiled and briefly took her hand before nearly running into a tree. He dodged it with inhuman speed. Surprised he could do that he looked back at the huge thing.

She looked at him. "Yes... By the way. Watch out for trees," She teased jokingly.
