+Name+

Veranae (Vera for short)

+Age+

Appears in her early/mid twenties

+Race+

Lycan

+Detailed appearance+

(For what the pictures don't show)

Human Form:

Vera has very light hair that trails down her back. She usually wears a few small braids here and there, letting the rest of the hair flow freely, if not a little wildly. Her eyes are a pale green and her skin has a hint of a tan.

Vera usually wears a simple, yet ornate gown and a simple necklace given to her by her mother.

She has a scar that reaches from her belly button to her left side and another one that runs from her left knee up to her inner thigh.

Wolf Form:

In her wolf form, Vera is mostly white. However, she has some very distinct black markings. Though she appears very similar to a normal wolf, she is actually much larger with more agility and strength. Occasionally when she shifts forms, the necklace her mother gave her stays around her neck.

+Human+

+Wolf+

+History+

Vera was part of a proud and large pack in the vast forests that overruled much of the land she was on. Wolf shifters were known throughout the world, hated, feared, and envied. Being a part of a pack was the safest way for any shifter to live. To blend. The large pack Vera lived in formed a small village far away from any larger human populated town and cities. The pack always remained in human forms during the day to prevent unwanted eyes from discovering their secrets.

The village was just like any other village one might fine spread out over the world. Small to medium sized homes made of wood, straw, mud, and stone. Large gardens, dug wells, and small farms with livestock. They lived quietly and peacefully and were very careful to protect the secret of their pack. A secret that if spread would destroy them all.

The alpha of this pack was Vera's own father and as was tradition, it would become her's to rule someday. That birthright gave her immediate respect. In order to fill her father's shoes, she must have experience and she must know how to take charge. Until the time comes and the entire village sees her as alpha, Vera had to learn to control her own small pack of wolf shifters her own age. Strong bonds were created and her small pack respected and envied their 'alpha'. Everything was going perfect for Vera and the village she lived in. She was living up to her father's name and they were managing to live peacefully in the forest.

But rumors always spread.

A lone wolf wondered into Vera's village. After several trials of faith, he was accepted into the pack. Being close to Vera's age, he was introduced to her small pack where he would learn to also treat her as his own alpha.

Vera soon found herself developing feelings for this new comer which lead to a romance that she thought could never be broken. A love so pure that they became what her village calls a "mated" pair. It meant they were meant to be together until they were separated by death.

Unfortunately, she soon found herself with a tormented heart and withered soul. The new comer was a traitor of his own species. He had a contract working with hunters to find packs of wolf shifters and exterminate them. His goal was to gain the trust of every member, find out who was in charge, discover if their were any humans settled with them, and to figure out the best ways to attack.

While Vera was out hunting one night, she could smell the smoke, hear the howls, and sounds of ripping flesh. Upon her arrival to the village she discovered a most horrific scene. Her entire pack had been slaughtered. Her father, her siblings, everyone she had ever known. A bit of relief managed to come when she discovered that her lover was not one of the fallen, but that relief was shattered soon after. In wolf form she was able to move quietly to where she heard voices. Horror struck her once again when she finally understood it all. She saw the exchange of gold and and shake of hands. She heard the laughter and talk of victory. And she saw him in the middle of it all.

Unable to control herself, Vera attacked. She only managed to kill one hunter and was barely able to make it out alive. She carries the burden of losing her pack and a scar that stretches from her side to bellybutton she received from her lover's very own dagger.

+Present+

After years of surviving on her own, Vera has been captured by a clan of lycans that have mistaken her for their enemy. Now after everything, she has been caught up in a war between two different lycan packs.

Name
Adaza di Pavia
Age
Unknown
Race
Lycan

Detailed Appearance
Human form: XXX
Adaza's hair is a ravenous black in color and a few inches long. It is unevenly layered since he only had dull dagger to cut it over the centuries in a lightless cavern. Above both his wrist are two ancient spells burnt into his flesh, they're his shackles that keep him trapped in his prison.

He has multiple long scars on his upper body, mostly on his back and neck from ancient times before he turned. Around the spells on his wrist is horrible scarred from where he tried to remove them with his teeth. They however remained untouched no matter how hard he tried.

Wolf form: XXX

When Adaza is in his wolf form, he is pure black in color and rather large for a wolf. He has two piercing, glowing red eyes. He is stronger, faster and more violent than normal wolves in this form. The scars on his back can be seen more clearly in this form.

History
At a young age Adaza was orphaned, his parents violently murdered in front of him. He grew up on the streets, fighting for any food he could get. Due to lack of food and cold, he grew ill over the years. One night as he slept in his tiny wooden crate near a local barn a clan of Lycans invaded the small village. Seriously injured, Adaza gasped for his last breath; however it never came. The leader of the Lycans took pity on the small human boy, turning him. Pludged into a life of violence, he grew into a vicious killer over the years. The clan that raised him didn't care who or what they slaughtered, he soon adopted the same way of thinking. Village after village he slaughter with his clanmates, flooding the land in all kinds of blood.

When the world war against races began, he quickly rose in the ranks of his clan. However after centuries, his leader grew tired of the war and bloodshed. Old and frail now, the leader of his clan went to make peace with the other Lycan clans. It went against all he had taught him, irritated with the old lycan. Adaza killed him and all that stood for peace. He slaughtered his entire clan out of pure hatred for their once leader. He soon gained allies just was violent and corrupted as him, forming the Warlords history would soon strike out.

As more years past, Adaza and the other Warlords had nearly brought the world and all life near extinction. The Eldest of the remaining races had made many deals with several of the Warlords to bring Adaza's cruelty to an end. A trap was laid for him. His betraying allies held him down as the Elders burned ancient symbols into his flesh and locked him away in a dark, forgotten cavern under their sacred temple. Pooling their powers, they cursed him with immortality, darkness and loneliness for all eternity.

Present
The long centuries in the dark cavern had slowly driven him insane. Today he still resides in the darkness, hope of ever being freed; long gone.

The night was quickly growing darker as clouds rolled across the sky. Not a trace of light was able to penetrate through the thick curtain of clouds. The air was still, the shadows silent and it allowed the fear to slither up the wolf shifter's spine as she darted through the dark woods. She was is her wolf form and able to move quicker, more silent, through the fallen leaves and shrubs. Her muscles carrying her swiftly through the labyrinth of ancient trees and her paws landing silently along the ground, but it wasn't enough. No, never enough, not with the hunters. Not human hunters, but other wolves. Their noises able to track her scent with ease. She could hear them, following not far behind her. The she wolf could feel herself growing tired from days without any food or water.

These other lycans had mistaken her for a member of their enemy clan and without any warning, they imprisoned her, starved her, and tormented her for information that she could never give. Information she honestly did not know, but that didn't stop them. After being put through days of torture, the lycan girl finally escaped her cage. She was forced to kill one of the other lycans in order to get the keys to the locks, something she wouldn't had normally been fond of, but days of pain can change one's mind. Yes, she would kill them all if she had the strength. If only there was some place to rest, just for a minute.. Perhaps she could get away, perhaps she could hide.

As the thoughts fluttered through her mind, she spotted what looked like an opening of some sort in a mess of vines. These vines must have been ancient. Some were very large and twisted like snakes over the rocks, conquering trees and much of the mountain side. But yes, there was a small opening in the tangle of vines that was caused by a fallen branch. It landed just right to reveal the darkness behind it. Slowing, the wolf bristled as she noticed a strange structure nearby. Was it a pillar of some kind? Could something significant once been here Now was not the time to ask questions. She had to get away. Upon approaching the whole made by the branch, she realized she wouldn't be able to get through in her wolf form. Hesitating for a moment, the wolf transformed back into a human girl, her body spotted here and there with blood, her once elegant dress in pieces only covering the bare minimum of her body. She was weaker in this form, more vulnerable.

Carefully, she climbed over the large branch and into the darkness beyond. After attempting to hide the opening, she turned and peered into what was a large cavern. The crystals that have formed here put of a small blue glow that seemed to bring the whole space alive. She crept along the large room until she found what appeared to be stairs. To where did they go though? The girl didn't have much time to think, even in her human form she could hear her captors closing in. A few twigs snapping here and there, a rustle of shrub. Yes, they were almost to the opening. Without thinking, she began to descend. Darkness surrounded her now and she had to be careful with her footing. She considered turning into wolf form, but some of the steps were questionable and perhaps after years and years of wear, they were unstable beneath her feet. And though she would be more graceful and light footed as a wolf, going down such steepness would be difficult on all fours.

Here and there, there were small patches of blue crystals that shed a small amount of light and the chill of the cave was intensifying the further she descended, but she couldn't stop now. She heard the howling, they had found the opening and soon would be trailing after her once more. Breathing heavily, the light haired girl finally made it to the bottom, or at least she guessed it was. The air was thick and shadows loomed everywhere, but there were more crystals making it easier to see. It was really a stunning place. A waterfall could be heard somewhere in the distance and a small stream with a blue glow trickled near her feet. Seeing the water, her desparate need to quench of thirst was overwhelming. She fell onto her knees and quickly cupped handfuls of water, enjoying the fresh and cold wetness running down her throat, but this was no time to stop and relax. Hearing the others nearing the end of the steps, she quickly darted for what she thought was another opening only to be wrong. She had cornered herself and could now see those who were chasing her. There were at least ten of them. Am I really going to die in this place? Fear crept deeper inside her, panicking she darted once more only to trip over a rock that jutted sharply from the ground. She landed hard against the wall behind her, not noticing it was completely different than the rock walls around her.

There was suddenly a shift in the air and then a loud rumble as the wall behind her began moving. It even stopped her now enemies in their place. What was going on? Now the lycan girl noticed the strange writing on the wall, which was glowing the same kind of blue light the crystals emitted. She hesitated only momentarily, then stumbled through this new opening...

Like every day and every night, the moments were surrounded in darkness. Was it day? Perhaps it was night. He did not know whether the sun or moon was cascading down on the world outside. Did he even care? The ancient lycan had given up on ever seeing either of them again. Small screeching could be heard from the young bat he had caught. His red eyes traced the bat as it bit at him trying to escape his grasp. Tracing it with a jagged claw, the human-like man slowly cut into it. It's cried of agony were music to his ears. An eerie smile came to his pale face before he bit into the rodent. The taste was bitter, disgusting. How he missed sinking his teeth into a screaming victim. The taste of human or any mythical being, the fear in their final moments enhancing the flavor. Now he was stuck with worthless rodents til the end of time.

The ancient lycan's head twitched to the right. The pressure in the air had suddenly shifted as a rumble echoed in the distance. His crazed laugh echoed throughout the cavern. The door to his prison had opened. He could feel the magic in the burnt in shackles fading. A small thump sounded out. He had dropped the small, half eaten corpse. Closing his eyes and taking in a deep breath, the former warlord could smell others of his kind. His mouth watered at the memory of a fresh Lycan meal. His eerie smile slowly came acrossed his face. His eyes opened as he exhaled slowly. He seemed to have been freed. How interesting.

(It's fine, I understand. My one year old is going crazy today, so you have a small post. Sorry.)

An eerie feeling began to climb its way into her stomach. Something dangerous, something monsterous was near. It was a much different feeling than the ones she felt from the other lycan that were chasing her. No, this was much, much more intense. The hairs on the back of her neck stood and she felt herself shivering, but why? What evil lay before her in this hidden chamber? She had no other choice, however, but to move on and hope for another exit. Her body was beginning to quiver as she grew more and more tired. Her legs ached, her muscle burned from running for hours upon hours straight, but she must carry on.

Behind her the other lycans had taken to give chase once. She stumbled around in the dark, her pale green eyes growing accustomed to the shadows here and then she saw it. It? Or was it a he? Yes, she saw him standing there and her heart nearly lurched from her mouth. The evil intentions were swirling around him, nearly visible was an aura of pure hatred and violence. Fear gripped at her tighter and she began shivering uncontrollably as she stopped and stared at the creature before her.

The lycans chasing her were suddenly upon her and she felt a sharp pain as one of their clawed hands hit her over the head. She fell forward, sliding across the rough rock floor and landed closer to the new figure. Her head throbbed and new cuts from the jagged rocks that tore at her flesh as she slid leaked blood. It oozed from her arms, her legs, her face. The pain nearly made her shift forms until she noticed her tormentors now stood still, horror plain across their face. The creeping feeling of fear over took her once more as she remembered her close proximity to the creature that was here. She turned her eyes away from the other lycans and found his.

The ancient lycan tilted his head back listening to the sounds of his visitors. Closer they drew. The smile never left his face as a sweet scent that was surrounded by musty odors filled his senses. It had been a very long time since he smelt a woman. The sweet scent of the woman was mixed with one he missed most of all, fear. He could feel her eyes on him the stronger the scent grew. Slowly his smile grew, flashing his blood covered canines. "I can smell your fear, how arousing." His words were darkly spoken, humor lingering at the thought of her being afraid.

His head turned towards the male lycans, how dare they ruin their little moment. Granted her blood smelled so enchanting to him. A low chuckled flowed from his throat. He was unsure of the time that passed in his imprisonment but fear was still so easily brought. The ancient lycan tilted his head slightly, popping it as the chuckle faded into a dark growl. Calmy he began walking towards the males. He would return later for the woman. With great speed the ancient lycan caught one of the males by the throat. His red eyes gleamed darkly before his teeth sunk into the lycan's collar. The snapping of his collar bone could be heard echoing in the cavern. The male whimpered as the ancient lycan pulled away. A large piece of his fleshed was missing from where he was bitten. With a thud the dying lycan fell onto the sharply jagged floor.

Fear was swirling around his senses. How he missed the copper taste he had just engorged himself on. The ancient lycan looked at a charging male. His fallen comrade gurgling in his own blood, gasping for air. The male was instantly stopped in his tracks. A great pressure was lurking within his chest. His face was only a few inches away from the ancient lycan's. He could smell his own blood dripping to the floor. Violently the pressure was ripped from his chest. A sinister laughed filled the cavern. Slowly the ancient lycan licked the blood on his fingers from the hand that just went through the male's chest. He had eight more to play with. What a fun welcoming party.

As the female watched the violent scene before her play out, she could not force herself to feel any pity for the lives that were being taken. A sickening thought began to swirl in her mind as she watched the monstrous man destroying the other lycans. She couldn't just sit here and let him kill them all, she deserved this. She had every right to these kills as well. These men tortured her, starved her, and stole her dignity. As if she hadn't already lost enough in the past. Blood, so much blood. It brought back memories of the night she lost everything.

In a flash, she shifted. In the place of what once appeared to be a fragile woman, was a large white and black wolf. Her fur had patches of crimson from her still bleeding wounds. The large mostly white wolf bared her canines, a growl rumbling from her throat. Though it was clear the monstrous lycan was out for blood, she launched herself past him and landed on a fleeing lycan. Alone, she wouldn't have stood a chance against all of them, but as they were now either occupied with the other creature or fleeing, they made easy targets. Her sharp canines closed down around the back of his throat, resulting in a loud crunch and a gurgle as blood sprayed, staining her white furred chest. She had made her kill.

A total of three down.

The ancient lycan's eyes glowed in the darkness. Blood covering his chin, chest and hand. A playful smirk came to his face. Here the female lycan had passed him, killing a fleeing snack. How he would have fun with her later. Slowly he walked to a fleeing lycan, he had fallen from the stairs as he tried to flee. Crawling away from the ancient lycan, it was to no use. Fingers entered the lycan's mouth with a violent jerk his head ripped in two. The top of the head was then thrown into the back of another fleeing lycan forcing him to slam into a bed of pointed crystals. The whimpers from the lycan filled the air. Music to his ears. He would leave this one to his agony, a slow death was highly amusing in his view.

A simple slash landed on a charging lycan. The males blood spattered on the jagged rocks, his lifeless body fell to the ground. Bones cracking danced through the whimpers of agony. One of the fighting lycans managed to get a hit on the ancient lycan. The bones cracking was from centuries of never transforming. Yelps rung out from the male lycan. A black wolf with piercing red eyes and spells engraved above it's paw began to shred the male into pieces. A hungry growl echoed deep from the wolf that blended into the shadows. Nails clicked against the rocks as the black wolf slowly removed himself from the mauled corpse. Now there was three.

Wondering if she should escape, the female lycan stared at the stairs. She growled, her yellow-green wolf eyes going from the stairs to the obviously very powerful large, black wolf. She was the daughter of an Alpha mother and father, who were the offspring of a long line of alphas before them. She was powerful, she excelled in hunting, in taking down prey, or atleast she would be if her body wasn't so exhausted. She might have been able to kill one of the enemy lycans, sure, but could she even harm the monstrous one? What had she accidentally freed and let out of this now obvious prison?

The female wolf darted towards the stairs, maybe she could escape while he was busy. While she was preoccupied with thoughts of escape, two enemy lycans got the jump on her. They had transformed. One sank his sharp canines into the flesh of her right hind leg and the other had bitten down onto the skin on the back of her neck, dragging her down. She yelped, pain nearly stunning her.

We won't let you escape either. We all shall die down here. The thought echoed into her mind as clearly as if it had been spoked aloud by the other wolves. Their teeth sank deeper into her flesh, drawing out more yelps and whimpering. So close, so close to escaping..

Another set of yelps fill the air in the cavern. The ancient lycan sunk his teeth once more into the male lycan's throat. Blood flowed from his mouth as he ate bits and pieces from one of the few remaining lycans. The coppery taste hit a carving he had been wanting to fill for a very long time. Slowly the lycan turned back to human form. Licking the blood on his hands and lips. All the scents of blood, fear and death had brought back so many found memories. He missed the feeling of another's organs and bones under his claws and teeth. The ancient lycan rubbed his hands together, although the blood wasn't as bright as it was in the sun. It was still a welcomed sight.

The female's yelps had brought his attention back to the remaining two lycans. His sinister laugh echoed out once more. Although it would be amusing to watch the female die. The ancient lycan wouldn't want his fun to be cut too short. One of the male lycans felt a sharp pain through its body as claws dug at it's spine. A gasped was all that it could manage before being ripped in half. He whimpered as he tried to crawl away only to die after a few inches later.

The ancient lycan just knelt near the last remaining lycan. His blood covered canines glowed in the crystals light as he smiled playfully. When the lycan snapped at him. The ancient lycan caught his lower jaw. He pulled him off the woman. A loud snapping sound followed shortly by another yelp could be heard in the shadows. A large spatter covered the ground and part of the woman. Crunching noises could be heard from the shadows as the human form ate part of the corpse of the last male lycan.

Though wounded once more, the female wolf hesitated for only a moment before hauling tail up the stairs. Had the black lycan saved her, or was he merely toying with her? She didn't want to think, she didn't want no part of the evil she had unleashed, but her strength was failing fast and her leaps up the steps on all fours was becoming a slower and slower pace. Being drenched in blood, there was no way to hide. Her scent alone would be too easy to trace. She could still hear the crunching of bones as she reached the top, but her body was tired, aching, and her own blood was still mixing in with the other's blood.

She shifted to human form, blood covering nearly every inch of her skin and collasped against the wall, breathing hard. Was this really it? She couldn't go no further. The days of torment and starvation and the fighting below had drained nearlyevery bit of her energy. She closed her eyes and waited for her end.

The sounds slowly came to a stop. Once more the ancient lycan cracked his neck with a simple tilt of his head. The mixture of blood from the lycans he had just ate slightly quench his longing thirst. He could hear the female as she ran up the stairs. The playful smirk crept onto his face. Slowly the ancient lycan walked up the crumbling stairs. A set of his jagged claws scraped the wall as he ascended. The ancient warning from the Elder's engraved into the walls were faded over the years. Long gashes and blood were left trailing his claws.

Upon reaching the top of the stairs. The lycan took a deep breath. Filling his lungs with the air that drifted through the broken temple. His eyes closed, finally he was truly free. He exhaled before turning to the weakened female. Her scent was all over the wall and crystal that had held him in his dark prison. His eyes traveled up her body. It had been a very long time since he saw a woman of her beauty. The ancient lycan pressed her against the wall with his body. One of his hands he placed on the wall near her head. The other traveled down her cheek, her shoulder and arm. "If not for you, I would not have my freedom." His voice was dark and venomous. "Tell me, woman. What year is this?" His eyes tracing her body were his hand just traveled.

The female lycan struggled to get back up when she heard the other coming up the stairs. Perhaps he would just leave without taking notice of her? She could only hope, but as soon as those red eyes appeared, all hope was lost for they were on her.

A whimper escaped her throat as he drew nearer. Her skin crawled as she felt his claws against her skin. Her throat was dry and her body grew so cold she began shivering once more, but the power this lycan was emitting was almost thrilling. So, she was right.. It had been her that released him from his prison. What did that mean for this world? "It...It's 1587." Her voice quivered only slightly. She mustn't show too much fear. She is an alpha. Her shivering stopped, but fear still tugged at the back of her mind.

The lycan chuckled lightly as she shivered under his touch. "1587..." He repeated. Had it really gone into a new era since he had been imprisoned? The ancient lycan himself didn't know how long he truly been hidden away. His eyes shifted back to her from his thoughts. Even under all the blood he could smell her fear, lingering like the shadows in the distance. Small pieces of her clothing moved as his hand continued to roam her body. As tempting as it was. The lycan had far more important things to do than fulfill his carnal urges.

Slowly his eyes traveled up her body once more. His smirk making his way across his partly bloody face. "Fortunate for you I have business elsewhere or we would have a bit of fun." The lycan leaned near the female's face. His eyes tracing her lips. She had stop trembling beneath him. Yet the scent of her fear still intoxicated him. "However, I will need a guide in this new world." His red eyes gleamed with evil in the shallow light of the temple. The lycan's hand on the wall move to the side of the woman's head. Lowering his head, the ancient lycan bit into her bare shoulder. Her blood was sweet and just was intoxicating as her scent. A few seconds passed. Slowly he released her shoulder, licking the blood of her shoulder and up her neck. He had marked her with a sign of slavery.

The lycan female gritted her teeth, which had began to sharpen into canines as the male did as he pleased. Though the fear was still there, she could feel anger rising, but she quickly swallowed the emotion. Her pale green eyes found the glaring red eyes as they were examining her. A growl had rumbled up her throat, but what could she do in her current state? She could smell the blood and death that covered both their bodies and it made her dizzy.

Her body tensed and she whimpered in pain as the other's teeth sank into her. No, no.. He couldn't be. She was no slave! She had heard about such markings, but never actually witnessed one. But despite all her wishing that this wasn't happening, the cold truth was that it had and now she was marked. "And why should I help you? Do you think I am afraid to die?" She growled, her anger getting the best of her.

The lycan just laughed at her new found courage. He had heard her growl while his hand roamed her body but found it amusing. He looked into her green eyes. "Oh?" He was intrigued by her. She was in no state to put up even a small fight, yet she spoke back. "There are things worse than death, I can assure you." The lycan's voice was sinister as he spoke those words. He knew all too well. He just been released from one.

The ancient lycan just laughed once more. "You alphas are such proud creatures." He could taste the pure blood in her. They were his favorite to kill. The lycan loved breaking them before ripping them into pieces. Well before his imprisonment. It didn't matter what race they were, they all thought the same. Superiority. It was clear that she didn't realize who he was. Would she tremble once more if she knew? Would she run in fear? Oh how he hoped so. He walked backwards from her, releasing her from his body. The ancient lycan held out his arms as to show her the temple behind him. "Look around you, woman. This is the temple of the Elder's." The lycan let his arms fall to his side. "The prison of Adaza di Pavia." Even when he was roaming the world many centuries ago. He was the legend of death and destruction. He was the monster in childhood tales to make children behave.

She knew all too well there were worse things than death. Worse things than torture, than starvation. Worse things than even having one's own virtue stolen. She had survived through it all. She survived without a pack, without a clan, without a family on her own in this world full of death. She wasn't about to let this monster scare her anymore.

But as the lycan released her and spoke once more, a wave of fear flooded her body once more. Realization dawned. The remembered hearing the stories as a child of the elders, of the sacred and forbidden temples they were imprisoned in. She remembered the stories of death they brought. That name was even a well known one. Fear not human, fear not life, but fear Death. Fear the one called Adaza for in his wake is nothing but Death.

"I..I have freed a monster." Her heart began to race and she could feel the coldness overtaking her body, "You.. I have heard about you." She began trembling once more. What had she done? With wide eyes, she glared at the beast. "Adaza.." The name was like ice on her tongue.

The ancient lycan chuckled as realization struck the woman. It seemed that even imprisoned for as long as he was, his name was still feared. "Monster?" He repeated in a whisper. It had been a long time since he was called that. A dark laugh erupted from him. Oh they didn't know a monster, not yet. Centuries of pent of aggression was bursting inside of him. He knew just who would it would be unleased on. The ones that imprisoned him. Their blood would be spilled, no descents would survive his wrath.

The one known as Adaza smiled darkly at the woman. "Legends never fully tell the true story. Every retelling morphs the truth." He chuckled at his own words. He himself nearly brought the world to extinction the only thing that stopped him was betrayal. The warlords that were imprisoned just as he was would suffer the same fate as those that betrayed him. "Tell me slave, what does your stories betray me as." He was curious. Would his name be slandered with the false stories of his evil deeds. Would they be somewhat accurate? Either way the woman was now bound as his slave, she would soon find out how true deep his evilness ran.

The female lycan struggled to take a step, "Yes, monster." She used that word again, her heart racing. "The stories go on and on about the destruction you reaped upon this world. How you killed so many innocent. How your evil was like a disease that paralyzed people with fear." She took a deep breath, struggling to stay awake, "You were a plague that sweeped across this planet. And here you are again.. But, what do I care?" She winced, the bite Adaza had given was stinging still.

In truth, she did not truly wish to die. She had revenge on her mind as well, but she also didn't care about much other than that. She had nothing else to live for. Her hand absently went to her stomach, her bloody fingers tracing where the scars were. "They say you nearly killed everything. That you were a force that could not be stopped." She continued, "There were also stories of your immense power. It was only overthrown by what we call The Saviors. They put you away for centuries.. Or so that's how the stories go. I don't remember them all, but yes.. Everyone has their secrets. Every story has deception." Her eyes grew dark with her thoughts. "My name is Vera." She growled at last.

The ancient lycan hissed at her words. Though the stories were accurate. However the words saviors had struck something in him. A venomous growl escaped his throat. With great speed he had slammed his fist into the wall behind her. Cracking around his hand. His eyes glowed darkly as once again he pinned her with his body. "Saviors!" He growl harshly to the female. "Your so called saviors feasted on innocents just as I did. Only reason they betrayed me was to save them themselves." The ancient lycan hissed darkly at the woman. He smirked before laughing darkly. "What good it has done them when I eat their descents and wipe their treacherous blood from this world." He pushed off the wall letting it crumble to the floor.

He did not care for her name. She was a slave. A simple toy he would dispose of once her usefulness had worn off. The lycan just turned to the covered entrance. His claws itched for more blood. They were hailed as heroes for their betrayal. The venomous growl escaped his throat once more. The ancient lycan closed his fist tighter, drawing his own blood. His canines larger than normal as he gritted his teeth. Oh how he would make them suffer. Their agony would never be like the one he had known. No, it would be shifter but just as painful. He would make sure of it.

Her eyes watched Adaza carefully. The ancient lycan seem even more dangerous now if that was possible. "I never claimed them to be my saviors." Her voice was low, "But the stories of you were true. You didn't deny that." She took a couple of steps, each one taking her closer to the exit. How she longed to leave this cavern and breathe in fresh air. Air that did not hold the constant scent of death, but for how long would that last? "The world has long since changed."

Vera gained the strength and courage to walk past the other lycan and towards the exit. Would she ever be able to escape from slavery to accomplish her own desires or would she die a slave at Adaza's side? She growled, but she wasn't completely different from him. She wanted that traitor she had once loved to suffer beneath her claws, as well as the humans he was working with all those years ago. That was the only reason she was still alive.

True? Oh the stories were true, every word. He was a monster. He slaughtered countless of people of all races. The ancient lycan had feasted on many races. He could remember every race's taste like it was yesterday. Well all but the lycans, he just had some. How the pure breeds were more potent in flavor. He chuckled lightly at her words. "For once the legends are true." Without warning, Adaza hit himself in his head. "Quiet!" He hissed venomously to the voices within his head.

His piercing red eyes fell on Vera once again. He didn't need to leave the temple to know the world had changed. Why did she think he enslaved her for, cookies? "Lead me to the nearest spring slave." He ordered her darkly. "Then to the nearest village." He dared her to fight his orders. It had been a long time since he tortured someone. He needed the practice to rid of the rust on that skill. The lycan just cut the vines with a simple slash but leaving the temple. The lycan came to a stop as he saw the moon. The breeze was so fresh it sickened him. His pale slightly blood covered skin glowed in the light. He closed his eyes as he basked in the moonlight. He missed it more than he cared to admit.

Vera watched him closely, her eyes narrowed when she witnessed the male lycan hit himself. Great, just great. Not only is my new master evil and powerful, but also insane.. The words bubbled with hate in her mind, but she shook them away and stepped out into the moonlight. The clouds had parted some, but dark patches of them still hung here and there. She inhaled deeply and leaned against a mossy trunk for a moment of rest, "We are miles from the nearest village and if..." She cut herself off. Being a smartass. "I can smell a creek nearby. Less than half a mile in that direction." She pointed to the east. Seriously, he couldn't smell the water from here?

She grumbled and shifted forms, her yellow-green eyes staring at the red eyed man. She growled lowly, it wasn't a menacing growl, just a sort of communication. Then the wolf darted off towards the direction of the water. Though she was enslaved, exhausted, and hungry, the thought of cool water was enough to carry her on.

Whispering echoed within his head. "I said quiet!" He hissed to the voices once more. They were very talkative tonight. The lycan muttered to himself before growling darkly. Instantly the voices stopped. He just turned to face her. He dared her to finished her sentence. It was obvious she wanted to say something sarcastic. He could smell the water in the air. He just wanted to see if she would listen like a good little slave or put up a fight. He chuckled lightly. Seems like she had accepted her role already. How sad for a alpha bred lycan.

Adaza just shifted into his wolf form. The spells on his wrist looked the same, only difference was they now glowed red in the dim light. The black wolf sniffed the air. The fresh air filled his lungs. It tickled from the normal muggy air he had grown accustomed too. Slowly he turned to run after his new slave. Faster he ran, it has such a long time since he could run at full speed. It didn't take him long to pass the female wolf. He was enjoying stretching his legs. Oh how he missed his freedom.

The female lycan watched as Adaza passed her and barked out of anger. An alpha is never passed, but then she remembered, she was no longer an alpha of her own. She was now that monster's slave. Hate began to fill her thoughts. She would have to get her revenge one way or another.

Vera's paws splashed through the shallow part of the creek and she lapped up the cool water greedily. The liquid refreshed her body and began speeding the healing of the wounds she obtained from the others. The water also soothed her worn paws. She shifted forms and waded out to a deeper part of the creek, enjoying the cleansing feel of the fresh water. She tried to ignore the part of her wanting to run, wanting to escape from the elder. She didn't stand a chance, and she knew it. So all she could do was try to relax. Try to enjoy herself while she could because it was only a matter of time before she would no longer be of use.
