Do you like watching movies that weren't made in your native language? Or are reading subtitles too distracting to your viewing experience?

I'm one of those people who loves films no matter where they're from. Film is such a versatile story telling medium and I find it fascinating to see what stories cultures outside of my own choose to tell and how they tell them. Doesn't matter the decade or the country of origin.

Not going to lie, this topic was mainly inspired by the fact I found three absolute gems at the used dvd store today: Run Lola Run (1998, Germany), In The Mood For Love (2001, China), and Russian Ark (2002, Russia--if you can believe it). I felt blessed.

Obvious answer is obvious, but I love anime, especially subbed. Foreign films in particular, Korean dramas are really popping out. Train to Busan and The Wailing are movies I continually endorse.
