O talking about zOMG as in Gaia's game right?
I keep on getting notices about that thing but I am too lazy to sign-up and try it out. I used to be really into MMORPGs but now I don't have the time to dedicate to them.

The graphics are fine, just the music/sound don't sound right. lol.

O they don't? I would have never guessed that the sound would be the main concern with the game. What isn't right about them though? Are they just too weird to be related to what the game is about o__________o
I find it hard to imagine how people would mess up on music and sound.

O I see. Maplestory does have nice BG music! Although I remember listening to the music on the zOMG main website and it was nice and pleasant.
Lol guesso then. I hope leveling on zOMG is loads easier than it is on Maplestory.

Well I don't know if it has been officially released since I am too involved in Mene to check. I do know that they have been seriously beta testing it for a few months now due to notices I have seen.
They started talking about it back in 03?! I only remember hearing about it in 05 because the website for the game was posted.

I remember everyone talking about a game coming out eventually even back in 2003. Although that was kind of restricted to several users and moderators in the forums. Then we were kind of promised a game, but it wasn't official.

And then it was made official, but it still took them a ridiculous amount of time to get everything together. Lol, and now nobody really goes on Gaia Online so not that many people are actually going to play it. xD;;

Haha, yeah. ;p I was all excited for the game a couple years ago, but now I'm like "eh"...a few people are going to play it...but I don't think that a lot of people are going to like it (or care).

I wish they could have started it before I quit.
I'm never going to play it now. xD;;

There are a LOT of users playing it, really. xDD
I think yesterday, they had an overflow of users with the database so they went back to 'only the users who stared Gaia in 2007 or earlier' can only play it for now. (:
It's still not OFFICIALLY open to everyone yet but they're working on it.

I'm not sure about the music for the zOMG because whenever I play it, MY speakers aren't on. xDD

minuxe You don't lvl in zOMG, I don't think. :S
I haven't seen it in action, anyways.
You pretty much just get rings that help you fight the 'Animated'. Things that weren't meant to move - like a mailbox. XD

@Pix: O I see. Well I didn't join until 04 and I was definitely not the type of member to get involved in 'private' discussions.
Yup it did take them forever to get things together after it was actually announced. Only pre-teens or younger children go on Gaia now so I can't see it being that successful.

It's a shame... Gaia Online was really promising when it first started and everyone was hyped up about the game. It just took their staff way too long to implement it... not to mention that they completely sold out. >.>

@Wren: Just think about a place in Mene that deals with magical items. It isn't a forum by the way ^^

@sushi: O wow. But since they restricted it to members from 07 that means that it is mainly newbies playing the game. I think knowing that would scare me from ever seriously playing the game xDxD
O I see. I read about the ring system in the main site a while ago. Although I still thought there were things like levels.

The overflow was only because everyone wanted to see the fuss of a game that was talked about for, what? 3-4 years? Give it a bit and no one will be playing it but the die-hards or the bored. I do believe that there is levels, too. I beta tested it for a while.

@Pix: Ya all the hype was lost through the years of developing. If the game came out a year after 04 I definitely would have seriously played it because that was during my Maplestory-crazy time xD

@Veri: Heh true. Although almost all of the users playing it aren't aware that it was being talked about for 3-4 years since they only recently had Gaia accounts.

I don't really enjoy the plot line and I find it a tad bit boring so I think I'll be one of those people who don't play it. D;

i FINALLY spent all my stuff... and darn it... i had to spend my own gold for some items... *sigh*
and on top of that, i can't change my avie right now since this browser is weird and won't let me do it... >.<
it's firefox... but probably some sort of firewall thing set by my work... >.>

@sushi: O plot lines are hard to keep up with in games because I tend to get distracted with making my character the strongest xP

@miyu: O yay for spending it all! It sucks to have anything go to waste, although I have some extra candy apples and corns that I can't spend because there aren't enough of them.
