Shadami, there are days when the level of annoyance is higher. Like she is purposefully not understanding something. Like just right now, she brought in a payoff statement and was like, "Do I still need to ask for the borrower's SS# to order the payoff statement? Kristi had me reach out to them for their loan number and SS#."
When I told her that what she just handed me was the payoff statement from the lender, looks like the borrower provided it to us, she stared at me with this blank look and was like, "What does that mean? Do I need to call them for their SS#?"

... like she already was holding the SS in her hand??

No, she didn't have the SS#, she had the payoff statement we would have gotten had we called the lender with the loan number and SS#. There was no need to ask for the SS# because the borrower provided us with the Pay off statement for their loan. And I told her that like three different times, three different ways and she still didn't understand what I was saying.

HIM, pretty much. And I do my best to not get short with her, but there are definite times like now when I just want to ask her how she remembers to breath by herself.

Some people just need things drawn out for them to understand

Very frustrating. She is already complaining about certain things and we keep telling her that this fast pace isn't that fast...wait until we are closing 5 or 6 files a day. Things will get very hectic than and she needs to be faster and more efficient.

Angie, yes, she has only been with us since October, roughly two months. Never worked in this industry before and for that reason I am trying to be understanding and teach her stuff. However, she pulls the airhead routine on kind of a regular basis. Like she is waiting for you to just do it for her.

I will be sleeping through part of Christmas since I work Christmas night

Tomorrow when I wake up I have to bake. Then work from three to six. Then Christmas eve service.

Pretty much prepared for Christmas, thinking about getting a few little things for the weekend to tide us over. Kind of missing the chance to go with Dad on Christmas Eve and watch people made scramble around trying to find that last Christmas gift, or start their Christmas shopping. We're sadistic like that.
