Joy. :-P Still beats scraping dishes though and at least I'll be doing what I am good at and trained to do. lol

Yeah, I'm super excited to get out of the apartment and out of the city for a few days. I'm on the bus now. ^_^

How was your weekend? Mine was okay despite having to work. I went and talked to the new manager today and they don't have any openings right now but she said she would keep me in mind for future positions. Ah well, at least I have a job and hours have picked up there (though it is second shift which messes with church activities and other things I am involved in).

It was pretty good. Went by really fast now and I'm back at work. Today has been crazy super stressful. I really need to look into searching for another job, this place is just getting more ridiculous than ever and it's really not good for my health. I have so much going on in my life right now it's really quite overwhelming.

That's a shame about the other job but you're on their radar now and at least you have the other job in the meantime!

Also, I'm going to throw out that I haven't forgotten about the roleplay. To be honest I just feel overwhelmed with everything IRL and can't think of what to do with Kurama in the fight. If you have any ideas to help me work through the fight feel free to make some suggestions. If we could just get past this fight I think I would have an easier time of things. I know it shouldn't be an easy fight for him and I wanted to portray how desperate he was in the battle but in the end I feel like I'm just making him seem dumb and it's making me feel bleh.

It's okay. I've had a lot going on too. Hubby's aunt got diagnosed with cancer a couple weeks ago and they moved her to hospice last week. Last night they were saying they didn't expect her to make it through the night. Mother-in-law came and stayed with us for about three weeks to visit her sister. Glad she got to come before it was too late. We also have a friend from church coming to live with us for a while so he can get out of a bad living situation and get on his feet.

I'll think about Kurama's fight though and see what I can come up with.

Thanks. I wasn't very close to her but she was family and it was sort of sudden. Cancer. They found it way too late. She went from fine to gone in just over a month.

But she knew where she was going and someday we will see her again.

It must have been quite a shock. But like you said, she's in a better place now.

Yeah, I totally agree. In other news I just found a job posting that I'm interested in. Now to deal with the whirlwind of updating my resume, writing a cover letter, organizing my portfolio, etc. @_@
