I have to be in the mood for bubble tea. Though I do have a place where I always go and get calpico. Don't always get bubbles.

Bubble tea is good, but I prefer to get light bubbles. A few to chew is fine. Having to chew through a giant mass of them at the bottom, no thanks.

I love calpico.

That sounds delicious. The Chinese grocery store around here usually only has strawberry or lychee flavor. The strawberry is good. I went to a Japanese restaurant in NYC where they made Calpico cocktails. Om nom nom. So delicious!

I know they sell plain Calpis that you can buy and mix in with stuff. I got some before, but in NYC. And I am not there that often. Maybe I'll check in Chinatown in Boston when I'm there next week. But I guess that means I should drive if I want to take home a load of groceries from the giant Chinese grocery store there. Was thinking of taking the train up, but I might change my mind.

Calpico is the amazing

It is good. I recommend trying to make some cocktails with it. In fact, I think their website has recipes for you to make cocktails with it.

That's an idea. I don't really like much alcohol, but it might be an interesting combo.

Yeah, I'm not a big drinker either, but I'll try things now and then. And if it's sweet, I'm more likely to try it.

I find, for the most part, gin or gin derivatives are the only thing I find palatable.

gin and tonic is good

I like a Tom Colins the best. When done right, it tastes a bit like lavender.

I like tequila. But I was never one of those stupid kids that got shitfaced on tequila and lives in fear of it. I only drink on a rare occasion.

I should amend that. I like tequila in a margarita, and a nice sweet one. Makes it more palatable to me. I wouldn't sit around and do tequila shots Not my style.

Most of the alcohol I consume is in dessert form. Like, I bake it in cakes. Om nom nom.

I had like, a straight up glass of tequila once, and I was scared I was up to high on my barstool, so I got down on the floor. Luckily I was at home so...
But I don't think I'd do it again. I don't want to drink things with worms in it.

I have eaten chocolate covered crickets.

I'm a vegetarian so that's no go for me.

Most tequilas don't come with worms anymore. Not that I've been in a liquor store in recent memory, but most of the tequilas they put out now seem too fancy for worms.

You would hope. Sad that not having worms in it makes something fancy x)

Well, who wants a "top shelf tequila" with a gross decaying worm in it?

Traditions are a funny thing. But there are plenty we should drop. Worm liquor being one. Bull fighting another.
