Basic premise is to encourage artists to try one or both challenges, post their artwork to sites like Tumblr and DeviantArt, and hopefully reap the rewards of new users coming in because that's how they hear about Mene. :B (Either because they're art hounds looking for artists to commission through virtual items, or because they're artists attracted to the characters and/or items.)

I also have the avatar equivalent in mind where you make a "cosplay" avatar of your favorite things every day for a month and post it around wherever it's good to do that. But I'm not sure how to categorize it. xD Just, "Any 30"? Or more like, "A bookish character." "The one who thinks they're the leader." "The one who's REALLY the leader." etc. :'

(The theory behind the cosplay avatars is that people who are fans of the thing being cosplayed might see it pop up in their feed/search for that show/whatever and go, "Oooh, I can be my favorite character on Menewsha? OFF I GO.")

*nods* *nods* Hmm Another 30! Or vary the theme/fandom. Like a character from a tv series. A character from a video game. A female protagonist

That's probably how to go about it. xD That way it's harder for someone to just do 30 characters from one fandom. I mean, we might get a lot of people from that fandom, but spreading it out is a better bet.

*nods* Plus people usually have a bunch fandoms at any given time.

(You could also go the tvtrope option. That might be hilariously fun * u * )
