Name - Slater, Slater James Hickleson. (Other personality uses the name Hicks)

Age - 26.

Bio - Slater joined the army when he turned 18, as soon as he left school. He wasn't the brightest spark, but he did know how to fight, and in all honesty, it wasnt his choice. His father pretty much forced it on him. But after years of training and short deployments, Slater grew to love the army and the people he trained with. and 2 battles later, he was gaining a reputation as the best fighter in his rank, leading him to be promoted to first lieutenant, making him the youngest lieutenant in his battalion. However, the latest war had grave results. He lost almost all of his boys in an ambush by the enemy, losses including his best friends, whom he saw as brothers, and 2 corporals. He was one of the few survivors by sheer luck, and it resulted in more than justs heartbreak, he lost his mind.

Recent History - Since the set-up. Hicks has travelled from hospital to hospital, trying to find a balance in his sanity, but it has only become worse. He developed a split peresonality, and between himself, and Hicks...they would do much more harm than good. Slater was hurt, sad, depressed, and torn. Whereas Hicks was brutal, bitter, and extremely evil.

During his last hospital stay, Hicks took it to the next extreme and killed almost every nurse on night watch before reinforcement arrived and restrained him, which lead him to the prison for the criminally insane. Slater is now on a constant suicide watch, for he believes only ending his life, will kill the evil within.

Asylum/ Hospital for the Criminally Insane

6am - Wakeup, Showering, Medication. Each patient has their own nurse / guard on watch depending on their history

Slater has guards/nurses inside the shower with him incase he attempts to harm himself. He is also shaven by proffesionals rather than allowed to do it himself.

7.30am - Breakfast session, then free roam till 10am indoors.

Slater is denied free roam after breakfast until his first review so he is returned to his room. This is the same for any patient needing reviews.

10am - Morning session begins, different for different patients depending on their history. One is a group session for others to express their concerns, worries, and general mood. This is compulsary for most patients, especially those on suicide watch, but only once reviews are passed with certain patients, so several sessions run to allow those needing reviews first to get them done.

Slater has two sessions, the first is with somebody specialising in Split Personalities, to discuss his feelings and to establish how often "Hicks" is currently in control and if he will cause danger to Slater, the patients, or the employees. A daily review must be progressed in order to allow Slater free roam with the other patients. Otherwise he will be made to stay in his cell till the next review. If he passes then he joins the compulsary sessions, and is allowed free roam until the next sessions, unless an incident occurs.

12.30 - Lunchtime session, again allowing free roam till 4pm, this time including outdoors, which has courts for sports, sitting areas, grass, and smoking dens for the smokers. Only Soft balls and safe racquets are used, unless the patient has been given extra priviledge. Any incidents are taken upon seriously and the patients involved locked up until afternoon session or supper.

4pm - Voluntary sessions similar to the morning one, or compulsary for certain patients, Hicks/Slater being one for an afternoon review with the SPD specialist. Any who don't go for a speaking session or review can do as they have been unless told otherwise.

5.00 - Main Meal time. Depending on Behavior rules are the same, except outdoors is off limits again. Some patients eat in their rooms, either by choice or by force.

8.00pm - Lockdown. Patients are given water in safe cups and locked down after thorough searches for items which could injure them or others.

Name: Alice Mary Jackson.
Age:23
Personality: outgoing and shy at times. Submissive.
Bio: Alice was a nurse at St Jane's hospital. It was for the criminally insane much like the hospital she was placed in well more like forced in. She was fine. She was a great nurse and was even engaged at one point. Until her mental breakdown. She has always had a problem with depression and was medicated back in college. Once she started working she got off them and 6 months later she starting having minor mental breakdowns causing problems with her ex fiance.


It was a day like no other. Alice was feeling great even though lastnight her and her fiance had another huge fight. But it was a new day she thought! She would go to work and tonight she would make a nice dinner and take a bath and and make everything all better between her and her fiance. She got dressed in her work uniform put her long dark hair up ate a quick breakfast and grabbed her coffee mug and drove off to work. Half way through her shift she o er heard her Co workers talking shit saying how Alice belongs in the looney bin. Alice ignored them at first but she couldn't help but feel worthless and wanted to cry. By the end of the day she was in a daze. Sh went home and layer in bed. Her fiance Joe was already sick of Alice's moods he called it. This started up another fight. "Alice dammit! You need help this is not normal for a grown women!! " he yelled. " I can't help it Joe I'm trying I really am..." Alice said now crying. "Well your not trying hard enough!! " Alice could not believe how Joe was acting. Joe grabbed his keys and started packing Alice looked up eyes red from crying "where are you going??? " Joe walked to the door and said to her "I'm leaveing and ill be gone till your better do not Eve. Bother calling me until then" with that he was gone.

Alice sat and cried for hours biting her arms and drinking wine. Midnight struck and she snapped Joe was really gone. She couldn't live without him. And she wont. She left him a message took a whole bottle of aspirin and chased it down with half a bottle of wine. She begain to feel sick and dizzy vomiting everywhere...the last thing she heard before waking up was Joe yelling over sirens and breaking down her door.

When Alice awoke she was in medical care Joe was sitting there staring at her."what...what's going on? " Alice asked. Joe looked away and said "your sick Alice. You need to go away somewhere safe until your better" what...are you saying Joe?! Your sending me away? You just want to get ride of me!!! " Alice broke down Joe called the nurse. They gave her a senitive to calm HR down. When she woke later they had her things and sent her on her way. A nurse said "don't worry you will like it there " they gave Alice another senitive so when they arrives they can put her in her room safely.

Slater awoke to Gunfire and explosions, blinding him with sounds and emotions. He was terrified, but ready. He jumped up, grabbed his firearm, and shouted for his men to ready themselves. "AMBUUUUSHHH!!!!" He heard shouts from all corner of the camp. Enemy soldiers came from all corners of the woods, shooting at the regiment he had trained himself for over 2 years, watching them perish with no hope of survival, and with one last fight to save his soldiers, there was a blinding flash, and he was down. A controlled explosion was set off just 10 feet away. Slater was lucky to have survived with his life, never mind his limbs, but the rest were not so lucky....he had failed them....


Suddenly he was back with Andrew, his Psychiatrist. "Welcome back Slater." He said.
Slater sat up slowly in his seat and wiped the sweat off his brow. "Don't make me do that again...its too painful" Slater said, hating with a passion when Andrew hypnotised him to re-live the reasons for his breakdown. He had to be reviewed twice a day, and he never understood why they always tried to make Hicks become in control by bringing those emotions to the frontline. It's helping... They'd say, as if it is!

Slater was allowed to roam free now. Hicks hadn't been in control for over a week but it hadn't stopped the burning itch to let him take over. Sometimes it was possible to stay in control, but there were always times, dangerous times, wether in his cell, or around the other patients or Andrew, when he couldn't hold him off any longer.

He shook Andrews hand and headed towards the compulsary talk session with some of the other patients. They all had different problems, but one thing was the same. They hated themselves, and couldn't see a solution. Sitting down in a circle of chairs, he put his head in his hands and waited for the room to fill up.

Alice woke up in a strange place, her mouth was dry and her eyes were crusted, somewhere was in the cell with her, she sat up really fast, heart racing and made out a female figure. "Hello Alice, how are you?" Alice looked around the room, she saw her duffel bag with her things and that was it. Alice never spoke. So the women started talking to Alice. "Alice, Do you know why your here? Do you know who you are?" Alice looked at the women. "Yes, Im Alice and I am here because I was put here!" She said very much pissed off. The women spoke again. "My name is Stephanie, and for now I am Doctor, until you have settled in more and we have figured out more about you..." She paused then started up again. "Your here because you tried killing yourself, we dont know how serious this is for you, thats why were here to help you, right now there is a group session going on and since your new ill introduce you, lets go" Stephanie got up and opened the door.

Alice hesitated but she would do anything to be around other people right now. So Alice followed and Stephanie showed her a few things on the way "Thats the main lobby there, and down here is where we have meals" Alice did not really pay attention she just followed, hoping this was a nightmare and that she would wake up next to Joe. "and here we are" The doctor said pointing to a room with people sitting in chairs in one big circle. Alice looked at the doctor. "You have got to be kidding me" Stephanie ignored Alice and introduced her. "Everyone, we have a new member to our family! This is Alice" She said and looked at her like she needed to speak. Alice did not. The doctor then spoke up again. "Well, since Alice is new can we all be extra nice and show her how things work around here? Any one wanna be her buddy fro the day?" No one raised their hands. Alice blushed.

"Alice why dont you take a seat so we can get started?" Alice sat in a empty fold up chair and folded her arms. She did not belong here.

Slater lifted up his head as Alice entered the room. She looked worn out, lost and confused, like she was in the wrong hospital. She didn't look dangerous, so why did they lock her up with a bunch of criminals like himself?

As the thought went through his head, another thought followed it as Alice decided to take the empty seat beside him, and he knew it wasn't his own thought, so he pushed them as far back as he could, pressing his hands harder to his head until he felt calm enough to raise his head again.

"Slater, you first. You've been having a good few weeks i've been told. Well done" Stephanie clapped and some of the other patients followed. But Slater didn't care, he knew it wouldn't last....it never did.

"It can't last forever" Slater responded negatively, before looking to face Alice.

"So why exactly is she in here? Did she kill people? Or rape their children? Or torture her mother? You people have NO thought about locking up innocent people with us. Its not right!" Slater didn't want to sound as angry as he did, but it was true. He didnt know anything about Alice yet but he could feel that she was an innocent being locked up involuntarily for something she couldn't help. And she was sat next to a murderer and a psychopath, locked up in a failed soldiers body. How was that right? Some of the other patients agree'd with Slater, but Stephanie looked up in disgust before telling everybody to quiten down.

"We're all here to get better Slater, and thats all we care about" She said "Do you think you're a danger to Alice?" She asked.

Slater sunk into his chair embarressed and lost for words. He feared for every patients life on these sort of days. Especially those new and vulnerable. But he would never harm her, at least...not while he was in control.

"No Stephanie. I don't" is all he said. Before Stephanie looked towards Alice again.

"Your perfectly safe with us Alice, and never feel like you can't tell us if your scared or worried about another patient or member of staff. We all take problems seriously, and its no different for you." She paused, before asking..."Is there anything you'd like to say, maybe about yourself, or to ask anybody else a question?"




(sorry if its not great, i got hit by a car today so feelin abit ditsy lawls. Nothin major just hit my face on the road pretty hard when i went down so im probably concussed 0.o )

Alice could tell she was very much in the very wrong place. She blushed when she was asked to talk. Part of her wished she was dead right now, the other wished she was home. Alice spoke up "Well...I have to agree, I do not belong here. I am a nurse!! Im supposed to be getting married and living a normal life." Alice said, trying not to show her anger. She paused then continued. "About me? Why would anyone care about me? Or who I am ? Noone ever has and noone ever will so why are you pretending to fucking care?" Alice blushed and covered her mouth. "Sorry.." She said and pulled into herself.


Stephanie then spoke. "Well Alice, People DO care. Let me just tell the group why your here since you seem to be in disbeilf." Alice just shook her head. Stephanie spoke up again. "Alice is very very very depressed. She is in a dark place. She here because she did try to murder someone. Herself" Alice thought Stephanie was the cute button happy go lucky type nurse, but she was learning to dislike her. Alice's face grew heavy and spoke again. "So what? people get sad, and I didn't not try to kill my self, I had some pills and some booze who cares" Alice looked away and said. "Im done talking" In almost a whisper.

Slater felt sorry for Alice. He knew she wasn't dangerous. God out of anybody else here she'd probably dealt with more dangerous people. He couldn't believe a nurse was locked up in here, but he also felt slightly put back after hearing her story.

The rest of the session went as usual. Other patients being asked about their issues, or expressive a few of their own angers, while some individuals chose to stay silent at all costs, hating these compulsary sessions.

"Right, times up folks. Its time for lunch then some free time. Any concerns go to your personal carer. Alice, do you want to come with me so i can show you where to eat? Or would you rather find it with the others?"

Slater wanted to apologise to Alice, but he thought he would leave it till Stephanies eyes weren't prowling. Besides, he was hungry, and being hungry wasn't exactly a good thing for somebody as prone to snapping as he was, or Hicks was.


(yeh yeh im a survivor lol. Just gotta give a statement cause the driver was in the wrong so i think he's gonna get prosecuted. I secretly hope he was over the limit or somethin so i can sue and get some moneeez haaha)

Alice looked at the guy who was in charge. "Um...I can go myself....Stephanie showed me where it was before..." Alice rushed out of the room to the meal room, she wasent all that hungry but she knew she would be in some sort of mess if she didn't eat, so she stood in line with the others, looking around at the people in here. She was still so pissed that she was stuck here!!! Couldn't she just have been put back on medications? And leave it at that? It was Joe, He wanted this to happen to her She thought.

She didn't notice until halfway through the line that she had her fists bald up ready to punch someone in the face, of course she would never have the guts or means to....unless it was Joe. Alice grabbed her tray of food and found an empty corner to sit at, and ate/picked at her food. When she finished she threw the rest away and headed to the "free time" Area. Alice was still Unsure about the rules....But she just followed others.

She found a spot to sit and sat and kept to herself, She was indeed afraid of the people in here. When she was A nurse she was never afraid because she had the power, now she was just another useless body who people think are crazy.
