I'm sort of odd about my feet being covered as well. They seem to be my temperature regulators if my feet are hot I'm hot if they get cold I'm miserable.

if my feet get hot i get hot, but i don't mind if their cold, if they get to cold just pulling them under a sheet will warm them up, or a blanket.. but yeah. i go in and her legs are twitching they have her strapped down so she can't turn in her sleep and pull wires lose. so she kept tryign to kick the blankets off her feet in her sleep. and i just KNOW she's thinking 'god dang it get the blankets off my feet you idiots' so i folded it back .. and what's worse is thei rnot rubbing her feet. so now their purple.. she has poor ciculation and with the foot contraptions they have on so she doesn't get bed sores on the bottom of her heels.. we're unable to do it for her. 'sigh'. but so far. no call. no call is good. no call means she's maybe getting better or at least fighting. and this is MY mom, i tell people, my mom's stubborn and ALL of her children have that bad habbit. and im darn well stubborn in that she's gonna stay here. of course i do have moments where i just break down in tears.. i mean the strain and stress don't help.. and mom's always been the one i run to when stuff gets to much..

Starstar, even though doctor may have good reason, but it won't hurt if you raise your concern about your mum's preference in blanket covering to them. They may take into note and help take care your mum better.

oh heck, me and my mum get along great she's like a best firend. we can sit and watch tv.. and she'll let me run on at hte mouth.. or listen to my music.. she's just.. my mom's GREAT and i don't want to lose her. I know how lucky i am to have her. i mean she's spent her LIFE takign care of me. making surei could live on my own. and its jsut.. it hurts that she's like this. she was who i went to with all my troubles..

That is great to hear you have such awesome mum. Which I can see it will even make it harder to deal.
She is a wonderful mum. She is in my prayer.

yeah she's the best. and so understanding.. 'sigh' she's my best friend type of mum. but not at the same time cause she knew when to give my butt a kick and she'smy first believer.. for writeing i mean.

I would love to be closer with my Mom. I try very hard, but my brother has always been her favorite.
I guess its sort of fair I'm Dad's favorite, but he never has been very chatty.

Not talking bad about my mum. But, when I show her my anime drawings. Her expression was frowning and asking:"Why are they always big eyes? So thin? Can you draw more real things?"

aww well my brother's the baby and she does let him get away with things she'd of taken any of us older girls over her knee for or gotten into a fist fight with..but i know she loves me just as much i mean heck she's spent her life taking care of us..its hard not to realie how good she made our childhood even when we were on the verge of being homeless once..

im sure she doesn't realie how mean that sounds. or meant it like that it could be she just doesn't understand your passion's not for ordinary art but for the animated one. just be patient with her.heck my mum LOVES my poetry but when it comes to books i write its best just to tell her about it vocally cause she's not big on reading.

Starstar, I understand where she come from. She is more to old school art, I get it. I disagreed with her but didn't take it to heart. Since then, I know in terms of hobbies, I can't relate that to her. Everyone have their own preference, I don't force her to like my passion, but I hope she would be more open to my passion.

meh.. nothing much.. righ tnow im thinking of cutting it short and going to put my leg up its throbbing agian 'sigh' butt hen for four days straight i've been on my feet im not surprised my legs are tender.

yes i got a wound ayear and a half ago, from an infection burrowing its way out.. ended up hospitalied for two weeks, came home and been fighting for it to get better ever since.

... erm... where you get that wound from?
