Each addition to the story can be as long as you want, but it has to follow the ToS. :3 This is not a contest.



One Halloween, a ten-year-old boy went trick-or-treating with his best friend.

The boy was dressed up as a vampire and his friend as a zombie.

Neither of them knew what was in store for them this Halloween.

They thought it would be like every other in the past; go door to door and get as much candy as they could pull in then go home and count their loot.

But they were wrong!

They went to the first few houses without problem, the adults commenting on how nice their costumes were and giving them hand fulls of candy.

But one of the handfulls of candy had something other than candy in it...

It gave a faint glow, and made a low humming noise.

By the time that they reached the boy's house the glowing had grown into a bright light, smothered only by the masses of candy piled on top of it.

The little glow emerged from the bag, revealing...

an egg the size of their hands, the glow pulsing from the shell.

The boy looked on in awe and amazement, unable to think of what to do next...

When suddenly the egg began to to crack; fine little lines breaking it's surface.

The boy, startled, dropped the egg from his hands and back up quickly; but instead of falling to the ground, the egg hovered in the air, the glowing growing brighter.

and out from the shell emerged a tiny dragon. They were so excited but, they were afraid at the same time because all of a sudden...

Several children passing by stopped and stared, others ran, frightened.

the house began to shake, the pictures on the wall smashing to the floor.

The dragons eyes glowed red, and he began to grow bigger slowly... glowing brighter

The boys and the dragon disappear with a pop, and reappear in another dimension.

Well this is a fine mess where in now!
He said to his friend staring into darkness
What will this new dimension hold?

Gasping, the boys looked around themselves and then looked back at the dragon with wide eyes; in total awe as to what was around them.

It stood about 15 feet high, its tail wrapped around them as it breathed slowly, small flames emerged from its nostrils. It just stared at them; its wings moved slightly.

The braver of the two boys slowly stepped forward, hand stretched out, wanting to see if the dragon was real.

The dragon huffed a hot breath at the boy, and rubbed his rough nose against the palm of the boy's hand.

Jumping slightly, the boy slowly ran his hand over the nose of the dragon, the other boy gaining confidence and joining in.
