Katie Scarlett walked up the long stone path towards the Halloween party. She had never met the boys that lived there, but heard they were very classy and handsome. She brushed her dark bangs out of her face and knocked on the door since she had finally made it to the top of the hill. Some of her friends were supposed to be here so she wouldn't feel alone at the party, Thank God. She smiled a little to herself as she looked at all the details on the outside of the home. It was definetly old, and since she loved history, this was her kind of place. She looked down at her purple and black dress and then ran her hand threw her hair, simply waiting to see if someone would open the door. She could already hear people inside.

Ace looked around at all the people inside the old Vladimir home. He hoped that his brothers had not made a mistake by having this party." Guys someone get the door." He said, giving some of the girls in the room a small grin. Unlike the punch that the guests were drinking, he was drinking wine. And LOTS of it. Being pretty much the leader of his brothers he was always a bit.. nervous that something would go wrong. But so far everyone seemed to be enjoying the party. The music that was playing was a lot of metal bands and other Halloween types of music, and the decorations....well the home already had cobwebs so everything looked great! He ran a hand quickly threw his pale blonde hair and sighed.

Hotaru looked boredly about, it wasn't his idea to throw this party, and he ws the only one in the family that kept to his original last name, even though he never told anyone what his last name was, the only thing was is that he only had one eye to see through, all the girls that were there kept sking him what happened, but he didn't want to tell them since it was family related. He didn't say anything to Ace as he just nodded and walked to the door, opening it up to see the girl that was standing on the other side, holdding his hand out for her invitation, to see if she was really invited.

Katie handed him her invitation she had gotten in the mail and eyed him. He seemed bored. She gave him a small smirk." Bored of the party?" She questioned, not knowing if he was one of the brothers or not. She saw Ace a few feet behind the boy in a tux and masquerade outfit. She had met him the other day at the market. She guessed most of the girls invited were all over the brothers, so her goal was to just look around since she didn't like being one of the many fan girls after their money." I'm Katie Scarlett." She said, then looked towards a rose bush in the garden. The place was beautiful, even the outside was full of history.

Hotaru took the invitation and looked at it with his only good eye, seeing that it was a genuine invitation written by Ace, he handed t back to her as he moved out the way and motioned for her to come into the house, not really caring if she did one way or the other. "I know who you are....and you could say that." he said to her, in a heavily accented voice as he waitted for her to come into the house, running ahand through his dark hair as he looked around at everyone else.

She eyed his bad eye, obviously covered with a patch but she just kept staring at it. Then she blushed feeling pretty rude." Well thanks.." She said, stepping inside and resisted wanting to touch his face."Did it hurt?" She blurted, then covered her mouth and walked off." Nice first impression.." She mumbled, sighing a little and going around a corner....even though guests probably couldn't go upstairs.... and went up the steps quietly. She snuck down the hallway, admiring the old paintings.

Ace looked at Hotaru and walked over, glaring a little." Be nice to the guests. God, you haven't had a kiss in over 400 years. Just be nice to them.." He muttered." Have some fun." He said, nudging him. He watched Katie dissapear around the corner." But first...Go find out where shes going, and somehow..without pissing her off, get her back down here... just be nice about." He growled, turning and leaving him."Dead beat.." He mumbled.

Hotaru was about to reply to what Katie had asked or said but she had disappeared around the corner, then his brother had waked over to him and gave him an ear full about the situation. "Prick..." he mumbled to his brother as he walked around the corner that Katie disappeared behind, seeing the stairs, he rolled his eyes and walked the stairs, avoiding everyone else as he searched for Katie. He didn't see her down the hallways so he began to look around, searching the rooms for her, he stood in shock in his bedroom doorway, seeing her in his room, that was an old gothic style, his eye narrowed at her as he stood there and watched.

Katie had wandered into what seemed to be a boys bedroom and had started to look around when she heard someone walk up. She turned, staring at the boy from before." Um....heh..." She gave a weak smile, guessing this was his room by the look on his face. "Your room's amazing." She said, stepping away from his bed since she had been looking at the antique things, and the bed was one of the oldest looking. Now she felt akward."I'm really sorry..." She trailed off." I......lost my way to the....erm.. bathroom?" She tried to make up an excuse. She brushed her bangs out of her face, ready to be thrown out of the party.

"It is rude to go through your host's room. I also highly doubt that you were looking for the bathroom considering you had just gotten here." Hotaru said to her as he walked into his room, looking around with his only good eye to make sure that everything was perfectly fine and inplace before he looked towards the girl that seemed to be completely out of place in the whole room. "The party is down stairs....the upper floors are off limits to non-family memebers. Go back down the stairs and at the end of the hall is the bathroom." he said to her as he leaned against he post of the bed, looking her over, it had been many years since the last time he had any female in his room.

She noticed his eyes looking her over and then looked towards the door with a sigh." Sorry.." Katie felt a bit out of place at the party since most of the people there were wearing make up or masks and weird outfits. But she had no weird make up, and nothing really scary on. Only a purple dress that stopped right before her knees and went outwards at the bottom with the top form fitting. She sat on the end of his bed." I'll go downstairs if you tell me about your eye." She said, giving him a smirk and looking at the eye patch."You don't have to tell me the whole story if you don't like talking about it though.." She said, looking towards a mirror in his room. It looked fairly old. She then looked towards him, looking at his face, chest, torso, legs and feet to get a quick look at his body structure. He was pretty fit and very attractive, just a bit uptight. But she could fix that if she tried.

Hotaru growled slightly as he glared down at her with his one good eye, not likeing the condition that she was trying to set, the subject of his eye was not something that was told outside of the family. "Only you need to know is that no one outside my family knows the subject of my eye. That is not going to change for a little girl who thinks she can get what she want by being stuborn." he said to her as he grabbed her arm, helpping her up off his bed as he escortted her towards his door and placed her on the other side of it before closing it behind them and locking it. "Kindly join the party once more or go back home." he said to her as he tucked his bedroom key into his pocket and made his way back down the stairs, not caring if she went into one of the other rooms as long as it was not his.

Katie rolled her eyes and went after him." Little girl?" She said before being tugged out of the room. She followed him back down the steps."I'm sorry okay? I didn't know it was that important to you..." She mumbled."And last I checked i'm about the same age as you." She said, sighing a little and looking at his good eye. She would've left him alone if he hadn't called her little. That kind of thing really irked her, having a guy her own age call her little. She felt her hand go up to touch the side of his face but she quickly ran the hand threw her hair to cover up for almost touching him."You don't have to tell me about your eye, I mean I barely noticed it when I first came.." She said softly. This time she said it sincerely." I'm sorry I got on your nerves.." She said, turning and going over to a small study that people were allowed in, just only a few were. Her friends hadn't arrived yet apparently since half their texts said they were on their way.. so until then... she would just sit.

Ace looked at Hotaru." You know that girl seems to find you attractive, I can literally smell her hormones." He chuckled, being a werewolf was odd since he could easily tell who liked who." And yet you were still an ass when I told you not to be one." He smirked, patting his brothers shoulder. "You could always show her around since she seems to like history, but .. you seem to hate her so maybe I should." He grinned. He could always go for Katie instead of the girls winking at him across the room." Well, bye." He said, going over to the punch table, debating whether to go towards Katie or not.

Alejandro leaned softly against one of the ivory beams in the house. He observed as people walked past deciding to keep to himself. Lightly he took a sip of his drink. He would have been consuming something alcoholic being it one of his favorite things, but his brother was drinking quite a bit of wine. So Alejandro decided to keep to punch for now. He golden eyes continued to scan the crowd. He chuckled a bit when he caught sight of his brother, Hotaru, conversing with a girl. Alejandro believed her name was Katie, but he couldn't be too sure. Lightly he shook his head. A female approached him and he smiled. He began conversing with her not exactly interest, she really wasn't his type.

Rosalie Americano approached the house her white heeled boots clicking on the stone steps. Looking up she stared at the large building in front of her."It's so big," she said quietly to herself. A soft breeze blue at her blonde hair and white dress. With a smile she continued up the steps and into the house. She handed her invitation to a blonde, she believed his name to be Alejandro, but she could not be sure. Walking past him since he was engaged with a female she went over to the punch bowl and poured herself a glass. Taking a small sip she turned and surveyed the room. There were so many girls and all of them dying to get with one of the men here. It was no surprise most girls were like that. Contrary to her outfit, Rosalie was not actually like that. As she glanced she noticed a blonde man standing by the punch bowl as well. She debated talking to him silently to herself. Sliding over closer she decided to talk to him. "Good Evening," she said with a smile, "Quite an extravagant party I must say."

Ace looked up from the punch, giving the girl a small smile." Evening, I'm Ace." He said, giving her a bow to be nice, but then realizing men don't bow for women anymore. He felt a blush cross his face as he quickly stood straight and just put out his hand. He wasn't so smooth when it came to modern day things. He looked towards his eldest brother Alejandro, of course all the women were going for him..but Hotaru not so much..."Thanks, we put a lot of effort into the party." He said, looking back at the girl."A beautiful girl such as you must have a name..?" He said, using some of his 'past' charm.

Katie looked at one of the boys leaning against a pillar. He seemed to be talking with a girl, so she wasn't about to go over there.. but the look in his eyes showed the girl didn't interest him. She brushed her bangs out of her face and looked back towards Hotaru. He wasn't the happiest boy in the bunch, so she would just wait for her friends to come... unless they chickened out. She looked back at the boy by the pillar, scanning over him to look at his outfit, but figured she'd be called rude again and looked out the window of the study. Outside she could see a huge garden with many different entrances, and then the full moon of course. And the house was surrounded by a lots of trees.

Rosalie giggled as he bowed. Before taking his hand she returned it with a curtsy. "It is a pleasure to meet you Ace," she answered softly. At his mention of her being a beautiful girl a soft blush colored her cheeks. "I-I'm Rosalie," she replied with a slight stutter,""Well your efforts have certainly paid off. Your home is also very beautiful I must say." She took another sip of her punch slightly embarrassed that she had already become flustered. Of course she had heard that she was beautiful before, but he was so hansom the compliment came as a surprise to her.


The blonde haired male looked up from the girl he was talking to and saw another looking at him. Grinning he saw it was the one whom his brother had been speaking with earlier. Lightly he excused himself from the conversation with the girl whom he had been in conversation with and went over to the other. If Hotaru was not going to keep talking with her he would. "Good evening Miss. I hope you are enjoying yourself," Alejandro said softly, "Oh, pardon my manners, my name is Alejandro, and you would be?" He stuck out his hand for her so they could be properly introduced.

Katie took his hand." Katie Scarlett.." She said, thinking her eying him had drawn him away from the other girl." You know you just crushed that girls dream of being with you." She said slyly with a small grin." I'm having fun...just your brother isn't the happiest boy is he?" She said, looking towards Hotaru. She knew the brothers named from Ace's letter since on the back it said who was throwing the party. So far all the brothers were gorgeous in her opinion, but some of their personalities weren't that great."Its nice to meet you Alejandro." She said softly.

"Very nice name, I've never met anyone named Rosalie." He said with a small smirk. He ran his hand threw his hair." So do you know anybody here?"

((Well katie went upstairs and ended up in Hotarus room, they got in a spat xD and then Alejandro and Katie are talking in the study and Ace and Rosalie are talking by the punch bowl. idk where Hotaru is XD I think hes in the same room as ace though. so if you wanna have your charrie come talk to alejandro I can have mine go somewhere else x3))

Grinning, Alejandro lightly pressed his lips to the top of her hand. "Pleasure to meet you as well, Katie," he said softly. He chuckled as she mentioned that he crushed a girl's dreams of being with him. Subtly he ran a hand threw his shaggy blonde hair. "I wasn't interested with talking with her. I suppose some dreams just are not supposed to come true," he answered smoothly with a grin. Alejandro shook his head at the mention of his brother. "I was worried of that... I saw you conversing with him earlier and wanted to make sure he hadn't upset you too much. He can be a bit brash, but he's a very nice guy down underneath," he sighed. Hotaru was indeed a bugger sometimes.


Rosalie nodded and tittered at the mention he had never heard of another girl named Rosalie. At the question if she knew anyone she looked around the room and shrugged. "Not any that I can see. I only know your brother Alejandro from him giving me this invitation... I suppose my friends are running late," she answered airily. Her friends had said they were coming, but of course they were generally late. The blonde associated with some interesting girl, who loved to talk about their hair. Honestly she could not handle the way they swooned over boys, it was a little annoying most of the time. Grinning she looked up at him. "I've never heard anyone named Ace either," she added softly with a giggle.

Katie blushed when he kissed her hand."I guess so." She smiled, looking down to wait out the blush."Well I suppose I did sort of get on his nerves.." She said, not mentioning the fact that she had been in his room." But all in all he seems to be a pretty interesting man." She said, looking back towards Hotaru. Something about him intrigued her, probably since he was so secretive. Since the blush wasn't gone she looked out the window instead of at him." You have a beautiful Garden.. was it here when you moved in?" She asked.

"Well my father loved cards and would always play with my mother.. so I was named Ace." He smirked." Not the best of names.. but I suppose they were going to have it so all my brothers had an A name, but then when Hotaru and Rin were born they just started naming us randomly." He grinned.

A small smirk formed on the blonde's face as he saw her blush. "Trust me, it is not difficult to get on the guy's nerves. I do it all the time. Perhaps because we are quite different," he said softly with a chuckle. He watched as she looked back towards Hotaru, perhaps he had intrigued her. That was surprising since it seemed his brother never seemed to draw allure from women, that was Alejandro's specialty. At the question of the garden he looked towards it. "There was a garden structure there, but being this house seemed rather ill tended to, we were able to fix it up a bit. Make it much more appealing to the eye... would you like to see it?" he offered gesturing towards the garden entrance.


Rosalie nodded as he explained where his name came from. She really did love people's stories, though she preferred not to tell her own. "My, well cards is rather entertaining. Though I must admit I am not that great of a card player. I generally lose when my friend and I play," she answered, "Oh, so are you the oldest?"

Katie nodded a little and stood up." I'd love too." She said, looking at Alejandro. All of the brothers were good looking, but she wasn't about to give in and flirt with Alejandro since most of the girls were all over him and she didn't want to be part of the fanclub. She brushed her bangs out of her face and walked towards the entrance." So how many girls have you taken in the garden tonight?" She joked, mostly since a lot of girls were watching him at the moment."I see your quite the ladies man." She smirked.

Ace smiled." I'm pretty good at cards, I usually win against my brothers. Each of us have our own qualities, mines playing cards well, Alejandro's is getting girls, Hotarus able to get people to hate him in less than five seconds and well...I'm not sure what Rin does." He grinned." Mines pretty much the less cool one." He said, running his hand threw his hair. "No, Alejandro's the oldest unfortunetly.." He sighed." Wanna go sit down?" He asked, putting out a hand to her.

Alejandro grinned as she said she would like to go out to the garden. He offered her his arm as they headed to the garden. At her joke he chuckled and shook his head. "Just you, no one else has asked. All the other girls just want to talk about themselves or how hansom I am. Not engage in conversation... but yes your observations are precise. I guess because I'm the oldest it happens that way," he said slightly unsure. The blonde was not exactly sure what made him a ladies man. Then again he supposed it was his fault since he did find quite a bit of fun in flirting. Lightly he pushed open the doors to the garden and held the door open for Katie.


The blonde girl nodded as he explained that the brother's was each better at something different. "I would like to be good at cards, much more than making people hate me," she answered with a small laugh. Then she nodded when he said Alejandro was the oldest, though she was not quite sure why he said "unfortunately. When he asked if she would like to sit she nodded. "I would love to," she answered. Lightly she took his hand and followed him.
