The type of music I listen to depends on my mood. My most favorite band is The Forecast, I think if any band can remind me of my hometown, then it's a band i love. I also enjoy Tegan & Sara, Straylight Run, Copeland, Black The Sky, The Wonder Years, Justin Bieber, Brandi Carlile. the list goes on.
I think it's impossible for me to listen to just one genre, it makes me feel extremely closed minded. Plus I just have to always have a variety so I don't get bored of my favorite music.

I generally base my taste on how different it sounds to if it has unique instruments in it. Basically, if I can create a story in my head, I like it.

But for a more general aspect, I like instrumentals along with alternative.

I love many artists in very different genres but one thing the majority of the artists have in common is that they make their own music/lyrics. :)

My top #5 are:

- 宇多田ヒカル (Hikaru Utada)
- Emilie Simon
- Perfume
- Late Night Alumni
- MEG

I like a large variety of music but the heaviest music I'll listen to and enjoy is Linkin Park's early stuff like from albums Hybrid Theory and Meteora.

I enjoy a wide range of music genres.
Mainly rock, heavy metal, experimental bands, "steampunk", and pop.

Bands would be Florence + The Machine, Abney Park, Three Days Grace, Disturbed, and stuff like that.

I listen to Folk and Viking metal, mostly. It's amazing, and I wish I knew more people who like it as much as I do! My favorite bands are (In no particular order):
- Korpiklaani
-Tyr
-Heidevolk
-Turisas
- In Extremo
I used to love Industrial Metal, though! Rammstein was my favorite, though I eventually moved on to other bands and genres. I still like them, just not as much OTL. Their songs hold too many bad memories for me.
