The tavern's name used to simply be 'Abandoned'. That was so long ago, before the owners of the tavern just vanished. Mysteriously gone. A vampiress and her lover. They were there one day and then never came back the next. It was a surprising thing, since the two women were at the tavern every single day, even lived in it really. Then a demon took up the mantle of owning and running it, until he just packed up and left one day. Now the building sits lonely at the edge of town, surrounded on three sides by a forest. Rose bushes grow boldly against the sides and back of the tavern, but the front porch and door are still free from those reaching, wildly growing thorny rose bushes.

Inside, dust covers everything, thick from years of neglect and disuse. Still only a few of the beams have rotted and fallen away from the ceiling. There are only four rooms upstairs, mostly they were used as living quarters for the owner and employees of the tavern. Some of the steps on the stair well that lead up to them have become weak and are dangerous to walk upon.

Those simple facts didn't stop Loki from entering the rundown building. Crimson eyes unreadable as he stepped softly, his grey wolf tail hung a bit limply behind him. One hand rested over his heart, as if to some how ward away the pain there. It hurt entering this place, almost as much as it hurt whenever he was in Red Rose, or Rain Falls. Grey wolf ears atop a head of long black hair drooped just slightly. A light whine left his throat as he moved to the bar. Loki was dressed in black pinstripe suit pants, suspenders and a white button down shirt with the sleeves rolled up to his elbows. He had lost his pinstriped suit jacket somewhere. It didn't matter where. He had left the door open behind him when he entered and a soft breeze blew through the tavern, stirring the dust almost as if it were stirring ghosts of the past. Loki had failed them, he had failed the vampire twins. Kya and her brother Keyyo. Keyyo who was buried in the garden behind Red Rose, and Kya whom had vanished.

He lowered his hand from his heart and ran it along the dust covered bar top. Such a lonely place this was now. Once it had been so wonderful, once he had slept on the bar top in his large wolf form. Kya would scold him, playfully but sternly. Her scolding never stopped him. He turned from the bar and moved towards the couch, dust covered and rotting in it's place before the hearth. A hearth of dust instead of a welcoming fire. Loki ran his hand through his hair and sighed as he stood behind the couch and stared into the empty hearth. He always visited this place after visiting Red Rose. He made a circuit, always the same path. Though never the same amount of years in between visits, but what did years matter to a demon who had already lived over a thousand? A soft sigh passed his lips.

The vampire dragged his feet along the path with a forlorn expression. He didn't know what he'd been thinking, asking Amadeo to accompany him on this journey. It hadn't been right. In fact, it had been downright cruel and selfish. That was when an all too familiar scent filled his nose and the Abandoned in eclipsed everything else in Regan's eyes. The redhead smiled brightly in a way he hadn't in so long. A smile which Amadeo would never have witnessed before in his usually sad friend.

Without another word he sprinted towards the Inn and burst trough the doors. There he was! His love was standing there after all this time of chasing after him and searching. "Loki! I've finally found you again." The once aristocratic vampire was a mere shadow of his former self with tangled hair and disheveled clothing. It was all that traveling, all that fear that he would never find Loki again.

The only reason Regan hadn't starved from lack of company, from lack of sustenance, was the white haired man he'd left behind on the road. In all probability he would have died for lack of will to hunt. The blue eyed man had vowed not to take blood from anyone without permission, which had made eating very difficult for him. At the Red Rose, he'd gotten used to company and what love he received from Loki. Without either, he seemed to have withered, like a flower without enough water or light.

Loki was standing there, his hands on the back of the dust covered couch, the door of the Tavern he had left wide open. To air the place out a bit and soon he would open all the windows on the ground floor, even though that wouldn't make it easier to breath in here. Even if all the dust was cleared out, his chest would always feel tight here, his breaths always heavy. He heard the footfalls before the voice, had thought they sounded familiar but that voice. Loki's head snapped up, brought fully from his memories and to the present. Crimson eyes wide in surprise. "Regan!" Shock laced Loki's voice when he spoke that name. But he didn't seem displeased, he knew Luce hadn't told Regan where he'd gone, even though he was sure Luce had known. Luce always knew.

The wolf moved towards the vampire, and stopped. There was a scent about Regan, a strange, unfamiliar scent that clung to his vampire. Loki was moving again, pulling the vampire into his arms, wrapping those arms tight around Regan, and nuzzling his neck. Inhaling deeply all the scents that clung to him, all the while he watched the door behind his vampire. Crimson eyes that were almost angry, watched that door for any sign of the owner of the scent that clung to Regan. "Why didn't you just wait for me?" It was a simple question, and Loki placed a light kiss on Regan's neck as he asked it. He kept his arms around the vampire, as if not quite ready to let go yet.

Regan had just run ahead. Was the vampire finally abandoning him now? Amadeo growled lightly in annoyance and kept going. But that expression on the vampire's face, what did that mean? Regan never smiled like that. Regan was a very sad vampire, and one that Amadeo had come to trust. Although very reluctantly at first. The demon's long tail twitched and swayed behind him as he came upon the building, moving at a brisk walk. He didn't run after Regan, if that vampire was trying to be rid of him, then so be it. Amadeo expected he'd be thrown away eventually, he just figured it would be a long while before that happened.

He hesitated, the scents of dust and wolf came to his nose as he stepped onto the porch. The white haired demon frowned slightly, but slowly continued up the porch and to the doors. There he stopped. A wolf demon was hugging Regan tightly, and watching the door fiercely. Was this the infamous Loki he heard so much about? It had to be. Suddenly Amadeo realized his scent must be all over Regan, and Regan's was probably all over him. Wolves were territorial creatures, so were demons. Regan was this demons mate. Amadeo swallowed hard, and took a slight step back. He just saw murder flash in that wolf's crimson eyes.

Tears welled up at the corners of Regan's eyes as he was enveloped in the wolf's arms. It had been so long since he'd felt this, and heard the other man's voice. The vampire clung to Loki like his life depended on it. "What, and wait for years with your last words ringing in my ears? Such thoughts brought back the wrenching of his heart of when he'd realized Loki had left, left after they'd argued again. He'd been terrified of losing the other man, so he'd done his best to track him down.

Along the way he'd met Amadeo, and things had gotten complicated. "Loki I ... There's something I need to tell you, someone you have to meet." He trembled now, with fear for himself and for Amadeo. Loki's anger was something to behold, especially when it was fueled by fear or worry. "I thought you never wanted to see me again... That you were running from me. If I hadn't met Amadeo, I might not have survived." He had a tendency to give up too easily, or rather he forgot about taking care of himself when saddened or hurt. It was a horrid way to be, but that was Regan.

Then he had met the demon along his travels, and his protective streak had reared its head. Blue eyes looked down as he wrapped his arms around the wolf to hold him close with all his might. He'd gone and betrayed him again, and there was no doubt Loki knew it. "I'm sorry..." The dust of the Inn didn't bother Regan, but it was something to look at in order to avoid the wolf's red eyed gaze.

Loki almost flinched at Regan's words. It was true though, it probably would have been years before the wolf came back. He nuzzled the vampire's neck again letting out a soft whine. His chest tightened just a little more and it wasn't because of the dust or the ghosts of this place. "Something to tell me? Why don't you start with telling me how man people you've slept with while we were apart?" He growled the words, and his eyes were blazing. Like crimson fires, but those eyes were on the white haired demon in the doorway. "I've no interest in meeting who ever you've replaced me with. Unless your going to let me rip out his throat." He growled the words out. He clung to Regan tightly, even as he said those things, because he knew if he let go. Nothing would stop him from trying to destroy that white haired being standing in his doorway.

"Not survive? Since when is it necessary to take another mate in order to survive?" Regan was a vampire, all he needed to survive was to eat people. Really, it wasn't that complicated. Loki's body trembled with anger. He was full of hurt and rage and he really really wanted to kill that white haired demon. It was easy to blame it all on that other demon too, to tell himself that the pretty white haired creature had seduced his Regan. Telling himself that, only made him even angrier.

Amadeo flinched slightly, he really did not like the way that wolf demon was looking at him. He took a few steps back. "I..I.." He knew he should probably run away. Run far away, but how far would be far enough? That wolf just seemed to be getting angrier and angrier. Honestly though, Amadeo had no idea of what to do, other than run. Though running might not be the best of ideas. The wolf would probably chase him and it might just make things worse. He swallowed hard and took another step back. Now he stood on the porch, in between the door and porch steps. A few more backwards steps and he'd probably take a tumble down those porch steps, but Amadeo didn't move anymore. He just stood there and watched. He had kept Regan alive, letting him feed from his endless blood. If anything, Loki should be thinking him for not letting the vampire starve to death, or something.

These roads were old, many having trodden once loose dirt into compact and dead soil. The land in which these trails and roads crossed was much older, inhabited by creatures of present and long forgotten lore. And he felt them all. Ancient ghosts, memories, and wraiths fleeting across his vision, garnering little reaction from the worn and beaten looking traveler. His cloak was beaten, the once vibrant contrast of a black diamond trim against stark white cloth having faded and worn from dirt and rips. The garnished metal of the clasp, a moon motif of intricate and delicate design, shone only faintly in the light the distant moon offered his passage. The rest of his clothing was simply worn trousers and shirt, old in both design and material. The silken belt, worn to threads and patches, kept his shirt closed against his body, beating lightly in wind.

Despite how torn and ragged his clothes were, the face beneath the cloak's hood appeared rather young, if not worn. His eyes were deep inlaid, as if he had not slept in quite a while. His hair, while raven and rather long, was stringy and listless. His skin was pale, sickly in tone and rather reflective if the moon hit it at just the right angle. Silver colored eyes finally lifted from the trail, eyeing the beaten and torn visage of a once proud building off in the distance. He closed his eyes as the whispering began, debates and arguments fluttering through his mind, a thousand separate voices bantering and yelling. It wasn't until the one voice, which was always quiet and subdued, called through the din, crisp and clear. 'Go.'

And go he did, the body of the worn looking man moving down the beaten road, the din of his mind calmed and quiet once more, falling into the comfortable silence they were all used to. Not even the strong beat of a heart accompanied the body of Adax down the path, leaving the path's ghosts to keep him company.

It was Regan's turn to flinch now, but there was no denying what had happened. "One." He lifted a hand to rub gently at the wolf's ears. A small smile tugged up his lips, despite the seriousness of the situation. It was always like this with them... And made his heart ache for what never ceased to happen. For a while he let himself wonder once more why he let himself be swayed by pretty faces and needy hearts.

"When you haven't the will to go out hunting." It wasn't a good excuse, and wasn't the whole story of how it had happened. No excuse was good enough. It was the easiest one, and perhaps the one that would distract Loki the most. It was odd, how much he wanted to protect Amadeo even now. Regan had thought that once he was reunited with his wolf, the feelings he felt for the white haired man would fade, but it had not been so.

Karlin wandered about happily on the dusty old roads with a sway to her hips and a playful smile upon her face. Orange hair blew about in the night air as her booted feet pounded across the packed dirt. She'd heard there as an Inn here, though not quite in the best repair. It would do as she passed trough in search for adventure so she could fill her pack with treasure. People did so love their rare jewelry or magical artifacts! They paid so handsomely for such things. By now the green eyed woman was rich, but she kept chasing after quests for the sake of completing them, and not the rewards.

One, just that one in the doorway apparently. Loki was growling, he hadn't even realized he was doing it. Those crimson eyes would not leave the white haired demon either, but Regan was trying to distract him. Trying to protect the white haired one. Loki tried to resist, but after a moment he leaned into that touch, leaned into the hand that rubbed at his ears. Those wolf ears twitched slightly, gods he had missed that touch so much. A whine followed by a whimper left his throat. "We're predators, we always have a will to hunt." Clearly Loki didn't quite understand how his leaving had affected the vampire. He was still angry, but that growling had stopped for now.

Amadeo raised his arms to hug himself. Scarred arms. He was covered in scars. His neck, collarbone, shoulders, down his arms. Vampire bites and claw marks. The demon had been experimented on until he had become the perfect blood doll. His blood was inexhaustible, his body created so much of it, and it was delicious to vampires. Addicting to young ones. Regan had not abused him the way other vampires had though, and Amadeo couldn't just run away and leave the vampire, even if he was afraid of the vampire's lover. He shook his head slightly. He had to calm his heart, it was beating fast with fear. If he went too long, or got to excited his body went into overdrive with making blood, and he would have to let the blood out some way or get a vampire to feed from him. Amadeo didn't need for that happen right now, especially not in front of the wolf. He inhaled deeply and concentrated hard on calming his fear. He still had no intention of setting foot in that falling down building for now. Amadeo looked over his shoulder, he wasn't sure but he felt like something or someone might be approaching. He was probably just being paranoid.

The wisps and wraiths scattered, fleeing from his vision quickly, startled by something. The man whipped around, eyes wide as he searched the path for the search of the ghosts' ire. The tension eased from his body at the distant and swaying form of a young woman travelling the dusty path. The living always startled the dead from the area. While their ethereal forms had once breathed the sweet night air, being close to someone who's heart still pumped blood would always cause a hunger in them. A hunger similar to that which plagued vampires.

Turning, the form of Adax continued his trek, pulling his hood over his face, unwilling to look the moon dead on. While he had...evolved past the need for superstition, that little voice that mandated every decision he made still held deep respect and reverence for it. It's shame filtered through his form whenever he set his eyes on it, leaving the voice distant from him whenever that shame should arise.

He lifted his head a bit as he grew closer to the building, only now sensing the sparks of life that had gathered at it's entrance, one fainter than the other two. He did not understand what the difference could be, but that would soon be evident to him. He would know soon. It was only a matter of moments.

A sight left the vampire as he bent to capture his love's lips with his own for a brief kiss. "Loki, you hurt me. I didn't want to do anything but search for you." All so they could talk and resolve that last argument. His blue yes shifted to Ama with clear confusion, and a silent plea. He wanted them to talk, and get along. Of course, the vampire knew very well he was being selfish about this all... And a sliver of worry slipped trough his heart, as thirst slipped into his throat. Now he'd gone and ruined things once more, and though he felt guilty the vampire couldn't regret what had happened.

"Amadeo, please come in." Loki hated the man already. The vampire tightened his hold on the dark haired man as his throat began to burn. Maybe an additional excuse was needed to show why it was he'd asked the pale demon to join him on his search.

She neared the Inn and stopped outside with wide eyes. Then they filled with mischief at the thought of what she might do. Karlin did so like to flirt, and was tempted to jump up onto the porch to try and distract the man with white hair. Something made her hold back near the rose bushes. Karlin bent to smell the flowers with a goofy smile, quite uncharacteristic of her usual attitude.

Such a brief kiss, and yet it was so sweet. Loki had missed those lips terribly. Had missed Regan more than he was willing to ever admit. His fingers twitched, clutched at Regan a little tighter. When Regan called that demon inside, Loki snarled. "I hadn't realized that searching for me meant you also needed to find yourself a little whore to keep you company." He was growling again, snarling even. "No, he can't come in here. If he sets one dirty foot in this place, I'll rip him apart, limb by limb. He can stay outside, he can even be on the porch, but he is not coming into this place." Loki's body trembled from anger, and it was taking all of his willpower to not shove Regan aside and go for Amadeo's throat. It was a large effort on Loki's part. But there was no telling how long it would last. How long it would be before Loki lost complete control.

Amadeo's heart nearly skipped a beat when Regan called him inside, he did think about it though. Thought about taking a single step forward at least, but then Loki was growling and threatening to rip him apart. That wolf was more frightening than a coven of hunger crazed vampires. "No. I think I'll be leaving now." Amadeo turned tail, and leaped over those few steps leading down the porch to the ground, the white haired demon hadn't even noticed the girl at the rose bushes. As soon as his feet hit the ground he was running, his heart pounding hard in his chest. He wouldn't be able to run long, he wouldn't be able to, because soon the pain would start. He would have to let the blood out soon.

Right now though, Amadeo ran down the dusty path. Blindly, until he found himself colliding with someone else on the path. A whimper of fright left him, as he looked up at the man. A man in worn and stained attire. Amadeo's grey eyes were wide with fear. For a moment, he had thought the wolf had gotten ahead of him. In front of him somehow, and now he turned his head to look over his shoulder. Almost certain the wolf demon would have followed him.

One spark had grown brighter, grown closer, causing the weathered Adax to blink and lift his head to stare down the path. Only to have the bright and lively source right in his, plowing into him at full speed. Terror and pain and the faintness of betrayal hit him all at once and he stumble back, dust puffing from under him as he collided with the beaten road. He rubbed his head lightly, lifting his head to glance at the man, his hood falling back and onto the ground. He raised an eyebrow, pulling himself from under him as old limbs ached from the dull pain this had caused him. Only proof that his nerves, while old and tattered, still worked in a this dead husk.

"Are....are you alright?" he whispered, tilting his head, black hair swaying lightly in the wind. "You took quite a tumble there..." His skin was iridescent in the pale light, the silver of his eyes brighter so as the light caught and refracted. There was a stirring within his mind at the man's presence and contact, many of the voice's within him agitated and restless. He ignored them for now, the one singularity they created, the governing mind that guided their vessel, too interested in the white haired man splayed over his lap.

"I'm fine." He spoke the words sharper than he had meant to. After all he should have been apologizing, and asking this person if he were alright. It was his fault, he had run into this stranger. Amadeo remained where he was for a few moments, splayed over this man's lap and glancing worriedly over his shoulder, then he got to his feet and reached down to help the other up. His heart still pounded, and the pain was already starting. Too much blood flowing inside his body, he grimaced lightly but he was determined to help this man up. He owed the fella that much at least, after rudely knocking him down. Then he could run off, hide somewhere and cut open his own flesh and let the blood flow until the pain left him and his heart slowed down. The fingers of his outstretched hand twitched slightly.

Adax blinked, watching as the man stood, stretching his hand out for him. He glanced lightly to the man's right, the moon bright and round just beyond. He closed his eyes, that quiet shame rearing it's head. He lifted his hood over his head before taking the outstretched hand. But he did not release it immediately, silver eyes watching the man's face with light curiosity.

"Something troubles you...?" he said matter-of-factually, not once looking away from his face. The agitated whispers of the voices continued deep in his mind, giving the weathered man an idea of what stood before him. But little idea of what was troubling him. And that was where this new curiosity lie; why did he appear distraught and why was he running.

Amadeo's tail twitched and swayed almost nervously behind him, there was something strange about this stranger but Amadeo didn't know what it was, nor was he trying to figure it out. He just wanted to help the man up and continue on his way. He had to, quickly before that wolf demon came after him. When the man grasped his hand, Amadeo pulled him to his feet. But then that fella didn't release him immediately and there was near panic in Amadeo's grey eyes. He didn't have time to stand there and answer questions.

His body trembled, his skin was so warm and he was beginning to sweat, the pain. His veins felt like they would burst. "..Nothing..It's nothing I can't handle.." A quick answer, but would it be answer enough for this man? It didn't matter, there was no time left, no way he could run anymore. No way he could move more than a few feet. The demon doubled over in pain, a whimper leaving his throat, besides, what was one more scar added to flesh already marred by so many? His long tail curled around his waist, the sharp spaded tip intending to slice against Amadeo's left forearm. To cut a deep gash and let out all that extra blood.

Adax closed his eyes at the answers, a twinge crawling up his arm at the man's words. It was only now that the spade-tipped tail swayed into view, confirming his suspicions about this tall man. The twinge doubled in it's intensity, causing pain to crawl up the limb. He released the man's hand, hissing lightly. The sound was inhuman. His attention was soon captured by his new acquaintance doubling over in pain, causing a curious quirk of Adax's head. The spade tail had swayed around now, the dagger tip aimed for the man's tender belly.

"Ah....I see..." he whispered, lifting his head and eyes to give the demon some semblance of privacy. He set his gaze on the distant building, wondering which of the two sparks had caused him to flee in such distress. In such a panic. His nose wrinkled lightly in disgust, the voices again whispering, consulting, arguing over whether or not to continue. But again, the quiet one rang 'Go'. And so he would. As soon as he was sure this new found companion of his was fit to go back on his way.

Amadeo nearly moaned when that sharp tail cut into his own flesh. Quick as lightning it made two gashes, and the blood seemed to burst forth, as if it had been held back by a dam. Grey eyes flashed black for a moment, but Amadeo's body began to relax, his heart beat began to slow. More blood than was normal flowed from those gashes and Amadeo would not raise his head to look at the stranger. It was embarrassing, his condition. He inhaled deeply, grimacing at the scent of his own blood, but it didn't take long at all, especially with how fast the blood flowed, though soon it began to slow. Then it had stopped and the wounds closed themselves up, leaving two new scars.

He hadn't even realized it when the man had released his hand. Hadn't been aware of it at all, but now he was. Slowly he lifted his head, and slowly he rose, standing. A glance over his shoulder towards the tavern, but it seemed the wolf hadn't chased him. Perhaps Regan had calmed that demon down some? Amadeo knew he should go back, he had to face Regan's lover and take responsibility. No matter how frightening that might be, and no matter if the wolf demon ripped him apart. Amadeo licked his lips, a nervous gesture and his grey eyes turned to the stranger. Unsure, uncertain of what to say to the man.

Adax blinked as the man stood, tearing his gaze from his destination. The voices had quieted down now, allowing their singularity to converse once more. "I do not know why you needed to do that..." he said, looking down the puddle of demonic blood that had pooled at his feet. "But I am glad that your pain seems to have been alleviated..." He looked back up the demon's face, the slightest of smiles on his faces.

"You have to forgive me, but....it would appear your mind has not been freed of its worries..." The apprehension coming off of that soul was a byproduct of the terror that had spilled out of him like the blood that now began to dry at their feet. He didn't even try to hide the knowing in his voice. What was the point when dealing with a spawn of the darkest parts of the nether that flowed just beneath the surface of this plane?

Amadeo followed the man's gaze to the puddle of blood and shivered lightly. "It's...complicated.." That was all he would say about that, unless the man prodded, then Amadeo might explain. He watched that pool of blood for a few moments longer, then took a few steps away from it. Those grey eyes leaving the blood to look at the stranger, and then to glance towards the establishment. Startled at the strangers next words, Amadeo looked at him, for a moment he stared at the man warily and then decided it didn't matter how the man knew what he knew. "Seems I pissed off someone's boyfriend." He spoke the words rather easy, nonchalantly almost. As if he weren't worried about it at all, but he was.

He raised a hand to his chest, pressing it over his heart and willing it to not beat to fast again. "I should go back though." He spoke those words quietly, a little uncertain. He was afraid though, that wolf demon frightened him terribly, it wasn't just the demon it was the way that demon's crimson eyes had looked. Amadeo shuddered and pressed his hand harder against his chest, his heart threatened to beat faster again. Just thinking about those eyes filled him with such terror.

Adax's eyes widened at that, whispering beginning in his mind. Boyfriend? Were perhaps the other two sparks (Truly three, he noted absently. That girl seemed to have wandered there) in some form of relation? His once small smile widened cruelly at the thought. The thought of the faint spark loving. He did not know what manner of creature it was, but it was living an unlife...perhaps a vampire. They were, after all, the closest to 'human.'

He shook his head, soon catching sight of the demon placing his hand over his heart. Tilting his head, he quietly lifted his own, placing it over the stillness of his chest. He lifted the other, placing it over his companion's hand, feeling the rapid pump of a frightened heart. He opened his mouth lightly, as if to say something. But he closed it, along with his eyes. The mass was quiet, almost contemplative.

But his eyes soon snapped open, flashing a bright white before fading. And a chillness passed through his hand and into the other, moving through that before quietly resting over the powerful muscle of the other's heart. The chillness was gentle, numbing the muscle lightly, coaxing it into a more comfortable and slower rhythm. He removed his hand after that, allowing his arms to fall to his sides. "If you must return, move quickly. The night will not last for much longer..." he whispered, voice cold and almost distant. The mass was berating the singularity, upset that he had caused the possibility of being found out. Of what they were.

Amadeo looked down at his hand over his heart, at the hand the stranger placed there. Questioningly that gaze turned to the man, but the man was standing with his eyes closed and a hand over his own heart. Then those eyes opened, and Amadeo felt a chill move into him. He looked down at his chest, at the hands there again as that gentle chill seemed to ease his heart. Slowed it, and that seemed to relax Amadeo some. When the stranger withdrew his hand, Amadeo let his own fall to his sides. His eyes on the stranger.

"You're a strange creature." It wasn't an insult, or a compliment, just an observation. But the demon was grateful for that chill that had calmed his heart. More grateful than this stranger would probably ever know. At the mention of the night fading, Amadeo glanced up at the sky for only a moment, and shrugged. "Well, I guess I'll hurry then." He flashed a slight smile at the stranger, and started towards the tavern. He had only taken a few steps before he stopped to look at the strange man. "..I'm called Amadeo. Will you walk with me?"

Karlin lifted her head as she heard angry voices burst forth from the Inn. One of them was quite familiar, and the second ... Why it could only be from the infamous Loki. But who was that white haired man, who'd run from the building as if hell hounds nipped at his heels? The orange haired woman tugged at her long, hip length, hair for a while as she thought over what to do.

Then Regan was stepping out onto the porch with an all too familiar worry filled expression. Karlin shook her head with a sigh and vaulted over the balustrade quietly. The vampire wouldn't notice her in this state, even as she snuck into the Inn and righted herself with an angry look in her eyes.

She walked forward to poke the wolf's chest hard, with one hand on a shapely hip. "I don't know why Regan was so desperate to find you, when all you do his make his heart fill with pain! Even I'd stay away from the likes of you, and I flirt with any man I see." Of course it was playful teasing, all empty promises. She hadn't found anyone to give her heart to, and frankly Karlin was happier that way.

A growl escaped his lips before he cold stop it, and his hold tightened around the wolf. Hands dug into flesh in a way that might leave bruises later on, if one cared to look. There was a dangerous, torn and angry look in the vampire's eyes as they locked upon Loki's red ones. Regan's heart beat painfully fast against his chest, ready to burst free at any moment and shatter.

"You will let him stay here long enough to rest, and for our goodbyes to be spoken." Loki wanted to kill Amadeo, and when that murderous look was in the wolf's eyes there was no chance of changing his mind. Even so, Regan simply couldn't abandon the white haired man so easily, or with such cruelty. He was more then ready to drag Amadeo into the Inn by force if need be, to see that all was well with him and that he had all he needed before he departed. "And don't insult him. If anyone seduced someone, it was me. So be angry with me, at least I'm used to it." The last words were spit out with a bitter anger and hurt Regan had forgotten about as he searched for Loki. He'd expected tenderness and a joyous reunion, but that just wasn't something Loki could offer to anyone, especially to a vampire who kept betraying him.

The scent of familiar blood filled his nose all at once, making a thirst dry his throat. Amadeo ... Of course he was agitated enough to have blood filling his veins to a painful point. Cursing under his breath, Regan pressed a tender kiss to Loki's lips as worry filled him. "Amadeo was there for me when I felt abandoned and lost, when my heart hurt enough to make me want to give up on everything. And he actually needs me, you're too strong to need anyone." Shaking his head, Regan turned away to walk outside and stand on the porch with worried eyes. He was relieved to see Amadeo returning, and with company at that.

Adax stopped as the man- no, Amadeo- told him his name. He turned back, eyeing the demon with a quiet look. He smiled lightly, shrugging. "Please....I am just a travelling necromancer..." he said, turning and waiting for him to catch up. "And you may call me Adax..." He continued walking as the other caught up, turning his eyes to the ground once more.

The whispering reared again as they neared the decrepit old building, Adax lifting his head as they neared. He eyed the young looking man on the porch, smiling to himself. So...that spark had been a vampire. Funny. He could not see the other, but the anger falling off its soul was an astounding amount. Enough to make the jaded old creature sick with disgust. The sound of a young woman's voiced reached his ears, cruel smile gone as he listened. He did not like the noise. Her voice was....a tad grating to him.

"No..not in this place.." Loki was so angry, but there was hurt in him too. Most of the hurt though had nothing to do with Regan sleeping with someone else. It was this falling down place, it hurt so much just to be here. It was a sacred place to Loki, and it hurt more that Regan wanted to bring his Loki-replacement into this place. That was one thing the wolf would not stand for, at all. Not here, not in this place. "I don't care if you seduced him or he seduced you. Whatever, however it happened. He's not welcome in this place." Regan's hold had tightened, and he'd probably be bruised later, but that didn't matter. And there it was, those words, the last words told Loki everything. Regan didn't understand anything. The vampire was walking out the door as the wolf sighed. "I'm not strong at all." Then louder to make sure the vampire heard him. "You should have waited at Red Rose. Why couldn't you wait?"

He might have said more, but now there was a woman in front him. The already angry, irritated wolf was only getting more irritated by her. "I make his heart fill with pain? Me? I took him for my mate, him and only him and he's already slept with other people. But of course, somehow I'm the bad guy." He was snarling a bit, but he wouldn't threaten or hurt the girl. "Mind your own business, girl." Then Loki pushed past her to come up behind Regan. His arms snaked around the vampire's waist and he held Regan close, nuzzling the side of his neck, inhaling deeply. Taking in the vampire's scent. "I would've come back for you. I'd always come back for you." He lifted his eyes, to watch as Amadeo approached with another person.

A necromancer. Well, Amadeo felt that was a sufficient enough reason for why this man seemed so odd and worn. Maybe. At least now he also knew this man's name. Adax. It sounded a little strange in his own ears, but people often had strange names. Amadeo did seem a lot more relaxed as he moved to catch up with Adax. His eyes on the path as he moved for a few moments, and then lifting up to watch the building as they approached it. Regan was on the porch now, no doubt worrying for him. Probably. Amadeo's feet faltered when the wolf demon stepped out behind Regan. A shiver of fear ran right through him, he could feel those red eyes on him. He could just tell that wolf was still angry, still upset. Was that man really going to kill him?

Amadeo stepped a little closer to Adax, perhaps it was an unconscious movement, but it did make him feel a little better. Even if he didn't really think Adax would protect him from the wolf demon's fury, besides, why should the necromancer? They hardly knew each other anyway. Regan might try to protect him, or had he dragged Amadeo here just so Loki could kill him? Regan was a vampire, but Amadeo had finally thought he could actually trust at least that one vampire. Now he wasn't so certain.

Regan stiffened as the wolf's words drifted to his ears. Of course he'd left to follow him! They'd argued so terribly, and Loki had gone without a word. The redhead had feared never to see him again, a fear which had driven him to desperation. Only one thing had eclipsed everything else, until he'd come across Amadeo.

A hint of a smile crossed his features as he lifted a hand to wave at the white haired man and his disheveled companion. The action halted before it had even begun as arms wrapped around his waist. The vampire leaned back, letting himself be held by Loki. "We argued and you left without a word. It didn't seem like you would, like you had any reason to." He was coming up with excuses for his actions, at least inwardly. In truth he'd had no reason to betray the wolf again, not like this. Regan wanted to beg for forgiveness, and put himself upon Loki's mercy.

Instead, the blue eyed man shifted so he could press soft kisses along the other's neck and jaw. A silent apology, it nothing else, as he wrapped an arm around the wolf's waist.

Karlin felt her eyes widen with surprise and shock as the wolf stormed past her. She couldn't really blame him for being angry with her, but then again she'd only ever got half the story. Anyway, now she had things to think about, and nothing to keep her busy. Well ... There was always taking out a rag and starting to clean this dilapidated in. The curvy woman proceeded to do just that, whipping down the counter and moving to what tables were steady enough to be dusted. The others she shoved into a corner, along with all the chairs who were in just as rough a state. Burning them seemed like a very good idea, but she had the feeling that Loki might want some say in the matter.
