I am looking for a reliable and literate role player to play the part of a bitter, grieved Captain who is put in charge of escorting the Generals daughter to the Ghost planet.

I'll try not to be too lengthy with the description.
Plotline: It is the year 3468, humanity has been destroyed by its own hands. Those who have survived live on a ravaged earth, slowly becoming unable to support its 'children'. So, humans have gone forth into space searching for suitable planets to inhabit, built giant space stations and established contact with extra terrestrials.
One would have hoped that we had learned from the error of our ways, but it seems that conquering new territories is simply ingrained too deeply to erase.
Then there is RX762, simply known as the Ghost planet. The inhabitants of the planet are wraith like creatures called Sirens in part for their haunting songs that lure their enemies to their 'deaths'. The Sirens are able to revive themselves from practically any physical damage, the only known way to demolish them is the Hephaestus plasma cannon, which seems to break down and incinerate their virus like way of taking over the bodies of their enemies.
A young Captain ( your character) is called upon to complete a very important mission. He is affected by a slow acting form of the Echo syndrome, and harbors hatred for the planet, and guilt for his hand in his best friends death. Feeling as if he can find some sort of peace in completing this final mission.
General Lyons is a man who grieves every day for the loss of his wife and son. All he has left his his career and his precious and frail daughter Maharette. Each day that passes, she slips closer to death.
She is suffering from Echo syndrome, a disease of sorts that occurs when one makes contact with the Sirens. She suffers from nightly dreams of a beach with silver sand and indigo waters. A voice calls to her, it tells her she must return home.
Your character is to bring her to RX762, where it is thought they will find the cure for Echo syndrome.
What they have yet to understand is that once The Ghost planet calls to you, you are forever its 'property'.

Appearance:
Disposition: Quiet, and sort of distant, but has a pleasant enough attitude. She has the tenancy to be able to read peoples emotions quite easily, and is a very empathetic person.
Quick Bio: Maharette is the younger sibling from a set of twins. Her mother was a scientist who was one of the first people to set foot upon RX762. She was also the first to come in physical contact with the Sirens. Because of this, Maharette became infected with Echo syndrome in the womb. Shortly after child birth, her mother passed away, leaving her Father to raise them single handedly.
She has been treated like a irreplaceable piece of treasure her entire life because of the gravity of her disease.
Her brother Ralston had been interested in the Ghost planet his entire life, something about it just drew him in. When he was of age, he signed up for the military, and was sent to Officer academy, was trained, and was sent to RX762.
After his death, she started experiencing frequent dreams, where she heard her brothers voice urging her to return to the Ghost planet. Because of this, she cannot accept the fact that he has died, and believes he is alive and well on RX762.

Disposition: When it comes to speak of the ghost planet, Kalic will grunt and show ff his hatred for it. On the other hand, when it comes to his crew and piloting the ship, he can be a bit of a boss, yet a friend as well. To tell the truth, whenever he is around his crew he talks to them as if he were their friends. Its this thing he does only because he knows that barking orders or telling them to fix something instead of showing them how will lose a crew faster than one can say oopsies. Overall, he is a protective, tough, yet very friendly kind of guy.
Quick Bio: Captain Tames, or Kalic as he prefers to be known, spent his years building up his career as a well known accomplished captain. He built his own ship and made a crew out of his friends from when he was a child. Each of them had chosen different paths such as military, engineer, cook, botanist, doctor, jack of all trades, you name it. He took his crew from that group of people that he cared so much for and made it all his own. Now after a few years being captain, he went out into deep space in search of a planet worthy of calling itself the second earth when he came across another planet they called RX762. His friend went onto the planet and made contact with the wraiths. He had seen the whole thing and got the mild case of Echo syndrome as he dragged his friend back to the ship and flew away. His friend never made it home. After that he kept on searching for other planets to call earth, until the day he got a phone call from an old friend, General Lyons. Now he is told he must go back to the planet he hates most, to find a cure for his friends daughter.

Appearance:
Disposition: Ralston is a friendly person with a iron will. He also has an insatiable curiosity, and an obsession with RX762. He cherished his sister above all else, and made it his mission to explore as much of the universe as he could, since she was not well enough to do so herself.
Quick Bio: From a very young age Ralston has understood his sisters limitations, and accepted that he must be her protector. He knows that he should hate the Sirens and RX762, but he cannot make himself. He feels an intense feeling of connection to the place and feels no hatred for the Sirens.
He and his sister actually share a psychic bond, and though they cannot actually 'talk' to eachother, they are able to transmit visual imagery to one another.

General Lyons sat in the dark of his room with his head cradled tenderly in his hands. His body was pushed to the point of exhaustion and every bone in his body was weary and sore.
More than that, his mind was running in circles.
It had finally come to this. There was nothing more the doctors and physicians could do for her, medicine had failed.
And in the end he had only one choice, to accept the request she had proposed so many times before.
With a shuddering sigh, he spoke in a clear tone. " Kalic Tames". The screen in front of him dialed the number, and began the connection.

In a room down the hall, sterile and in various shades of white and clear a slender slip of a woman slept in a bed entirely too big for her. Her skin was nearly as pale as the room around her, and her wavy ash blond spread around her like the spray of a waterfall. A mechanical angel, body riddled with tubes and wires.
Unnatural and unsettling.
Tubes pumped her full of pain killers and nutrients as she slept on, deeply in the throes of another coma typical of her disease.
And while she slept she dreamed of one thing. The same silver sanded beach with indigo waters. And the same song, always the same song.
"Come home Maharette, come back to us".
Ralston was waiting for her there, he had been waiting for a very long time.

Captain Kalic Tames was in the hold of his ship setting things up to the right standard. Alex, one of his good friends was the mechanic of the ship and during the last raid through the stars. They had come into contact with some very nasty meteors and the ship was banged up.
"It's a quick fix captain." Alex said smiling towards his friend.
"Good. We need to get her up and running for the trip towards the planets undiscovered!" He said excitedly as he slid down one of the poles from the second floor to the first. "Cali. How are the controls coming along?" The controls had been damaged in the storm as well. It was a wonder that they could land the ship on the planet, but it was a pretty bumpy landing.
"Everything's shiny cap'ain. Not to fret." She said over the intercom of the ship. Her voice was cheerful and hopeful sounding, which meant another day on earth taking scrap ship parts to put together his beloved ship once again.
"She always says that when something is up." He chuckled. "Ah well. Lets get these pipes up so we at least have the systems up and running." As he hoisted some of the pipes up to the top deck of the cargo hold, Alex worked on the Digger, their exploration vehicle when they land on the other planets.
When the pipes were on the second deck, he climbed on up. Once he reached it, Jake came into the room. "Hey Kalic. You got a video call from a General Lyons."
"I'll take it up in my quarters. Thanks Jake." He put the pipes back down on the deck and walked over to his room where he grabbed the video screen that was on the wall. "Kalic Tames receiving a call." The video screen lit up with a distressed looking General on the screen. "Afternoon General. What can i do for you?"

Started out of his thoughts, Octavian Lyons was brought back to reality when the voice of an old friend filled the silent and dark room. He looked up and rubbed his tired eyes and put his most composed face on. " Ah, Kalic... Its been a long time since I've seen your face. How is life treating you? I hear you are Captaining your own ship now, always knew you had it in you to pilot your own crew..." he said with a proud tone.
Pausing for a second, he sighed. " Look, you know I'm not one for small talk so I'll just be straight with you... I need your help. I know I have no right to be asking you for anything... But I swear I can make it worth your time" he admitted.

Kalic was a little shocked that the General started off with small talk. He wasnt really known for that. The distress in his voice. He kept his face straight with a smile as he had always done. He was about to say his thanks for all that was said, but it was apparent to the general himself that he was acting abnormally. He had sighed and decided on telling the real reason for his video communication. Kalic listened intently as he heard his new mission. "Hold on sir, let me make sure theres no bugs." OF course there would be no bugs, but no matter what he thought, there was always something that could happen. He took out his debugger. It was a little stick with a red light on that almost looked like a book light from way back in the years that was now called an antique. The red light turned on and a quiet little buz filled his room. "Alright sir. Its safe. How can i help you sir?"

Octavian folded and unfolded his hands before starting. " My daughter is dying Kalic. The Doctors and physicians can't figure out how to cure her. All the readily available treatments have done nothing for her condition. The only thing she's responded to is crystal residue from RX762. I brought it up before the Council. They refused my petition to return to the planet to find a cure for the Echo Syndrome.... Thats why I'm talking to you Kalic... Your vessel is the fastest non fleet ship in our quadrant. This mission has to be done with extreme tact and stealth... There is an armada guarding RX762, but if you maneuver through the ice belt near Kloora, the third moon... You should be able to get a clear path into the atmosphere without alerting the fleet. You are the only person capable of doing this mission Kalic" The General explained frankly.
He tapped away on his computer before sending a file to Kalic with sure fire coordinates to RX762, and the codes to override the security on the orbiting satellite that acted as a security camera of sorts.
"I'm not going to lie Kalic, this is a very dangerous mission... I wouldn't put it past you not to accept" Octavion sighed.

Kalic waited patiently for the General to finish. From the way he described the disease, it was starting to sound familiar. He couldnt tell how or why it sounded familiar, but it did. Then he remembered it. His best mate, Gohldry. He had the disease before as well. They had tried to find the doctors to help him after the run on the planet, but it wasnt going to happen. He died, crying out for the planet as he had gone. Tears wanted to well up in his head, but it didnt happen. Just a lot of hatred went out for the planet. Anger started to show on his face, but he put on the straight face he needed for the general. The cure would probably be found on the planet. Maybe what they had done that killed his friend could be done for the girl. It would take them a while to get to the planet itself, but to go around towards the back of the planet without the armada seeing them. He kept his eyes focused on what the general was saying. "You would not have asked me to do this if you didn't trust me with your daughters life that i could finish this. I will take the job sir. No questions asked. I will save your daughter." The danger of the mission. The entire process would be very dangerous and his crew might not want to partake on the journey, but if they could find something that could help this girl, he would do it. Saving this girl could mean saving countless others that came across this syndrome. "Where do we meet you?"

It was hard for Octavion not to sigh audibly in relief. " We are currently docked in sector 8 of the Titaniaa station. When do you think you can rendezvous? he asked quietly.
Down the hall he could hear the sound of footsteps, it was nearly time for lights out. Sneaking Maharette out of the compound would serve to be a tricky situation... Especially with the elevated security.

(Sorry about how short my last post was, they will get longer and more detailed once my character is transfered onto your ship).

Kalic was on the Alopia station, not far from the Titaniaa station. He could be there within an hour. HIs ship should already pretty much be repaired from earlier. All the stuff they had to do could be done on the way to the other station. "I can be there within the hour... I hear the Security is pretty tight over there. No worries though. I have a specialist. If we need to keep this secret, i can get in and get her out without anyone knowing. Thats only if we need to keep this low on the spectrum. I respect you General and I would do anything to keep this quiet for you. I'll make contact with you when we arrive. If you need to contact me, i have a contact watch on my wrist we can keep in contact with." He hit a few buttons on the watch sitting on his wrist and a voice screen came up on the general's video screen. "I sent you a call from my watch. I'm going to leave this video screen. Dont worry, we can keep in contact using the watch." He turned off the screen and walked out of the room, putting his debugger in his pocket.
Once out on the deck, he started to put the pipes in. "Jerry, I need you on the dock. We need to pilot out of here to the Titaniaa Station. Ladies and Gents, we have ourselves a job." Everyone got excited and started to work quickly to get the ship ready. His friend Jerilon went to the cockpit and started up the engines as Alex brought the rest of the equipment into the ship. "Cali, start up the throttle. Make sure the engine....."
"I know i know Kalic, make sure the engine keeps up the juice or the generator will start to shut down. Not to fret Cap'ain."
The words put a smile on his face as he finished up with the pipes. "Alright everyone, lets keep it tight. Jake, come help me with these pipes, i need to talk to you about something." He looked down at his watch and started to whisper. He put the ear piece in so that he could talk and listen to the general without having it come through the watch. "General, we are on our way."
Jake finally made it over to Kalic. "Sorry it took me a while Kalic, I had to finish getting those hydrolinks up so we can go into hyperspace.... buuuut thats not why you called me over." He said a little confused.
"No its not. I need you to get the plans to the Titaniaa station. We are going in for a sort of rescue mission and we need to do it while its curfew, lights out, you know? Keep it low ok?"
Jake looked at him with a smirk on his face. "My kind of job. I'll get it for you right away."
"Thank you." Kalic looked down at his watch once more.
A voice came over the intercom. "And we are up and on our way to Titaniaa. Everyone get ready. This is going to be a quick ride."

"Are you sure about this... What if this doesn't work..." came a slightly irritated female voice in the darkness of the hospital suite.
General Lyons and a woman in her mid thirties hurried to place Maharette into a clear 4X6 foot tube. Once she was safely inside, they pressed entered a code into a number pad on the side. The tube sealed and began to fill with an oxygen rich nutrient fluid. The frail woman slept on, unperturbed by her change of location, eyelids flickering in a deep state of REM.
" I don't have any other choice Meryl... They say she has a month at best. She cries every night, begging me to send her to RX762, she says that it calls to her" Octavius said in a strained tone.
"But will they know how to care for her?" Meryl began, glancing at the tube with a look of both concern and love. She was a mother hen in all rights, as she had been Maharette's nanny for the entirety of her childhood.
" If she stays in deep freeze for the trip, she should be fine. I've left detailed instructions in her file, I trust Kalic. We can't keep her here much longer, the Council is sniffing around, I heard rumors that they are planning on taking her and conducting studies on her case of Echo Syndrome, as she is the longest known living case" Octavius explained grimly.
He touched the cold glass tube, and gazed lovingly at his only living child, sighing deeply. The thought of her galaxies away killed him inside.
But if there was the slightest chance she would get better, that she would live... He'd do anything to make it possible.
Standing tall again, he carefully loaded the tube onto the electronic docking cart, and pulled the cap over his eyes as Meryl draped a dirty looking tarp over the top.
General Lyons hardly looked the part of a General anymore, decked in a janitors uniform. He pulled the cap over his eyes and nodded farewell to his daughters caretaker before carefully wheeling his daughter out the door and to the specified meeting place.
Once he was in a quiet, private place he called Kalic on his wrist com. " We're heading your way Kalic".

Kalic had just finished putting the piping system together again when in his ear said that the general was headed their way. He ran up to the cockpit. "Jerry, what's our status?" He said.
"We are almost there. I should be able to dock in sector 12."
"No, we need to dock in sector 8. Try to make it happen."
"Yes sir, but may i ask why?" Jerry sounded just a little too uneasy with the reason why they were here.
"That's where the cargo will be." Kalic said trying to keep everything happy the way that he was taught. "There only one thing. There might be a fire fight with security. I hope not, but if there is, we need to get our of here quick, understand?"
"Absolutely Kal. Try not to get us killed though ok?" Jerry said in a joking manner.
With a snicker, Kalic nodded, then went to the intercom. "Alright people, get ready for docking procedures." He tapped his friend on the shoulder before leaving the cockpit and going towards the hold of the ship. "Hey Jake. It looks like the cargo is coming to us. Lets see if we can meet them halfway. What do you say?"
"I'm in. Let's go get it." Jake said putting a magazine in an M16.
"Whoa whoa whoa. I dont plan on gettin into a fire fight here."
"Well what you plan and what actually happens ain't exactly been similar."
"Well, this is covert and an M16 can't be hid on your person."
"Alright alright, ill go with the .45 then. Sound good?"
"Sounds great." The sounds of docking finally came as they landed in sector 8 of the Titaniaa. "Alright people its show time. Make it look like we just came for a pit stop." He said as the cargo hold opened up. Security guards swarmed the ship as it opened up. Luckily, he had food cargo on the ship he had grabbed before they had left Alopia.
"STOP RIGHT THERE. What is your business here." The guards were screaming at them, he couldnt figure out why, but they were.
"Whoa whoa, its ok. We came to drop off an extra food shipment. We got some extra and thought the hospital station could use some more for the patients." It was true the station rarely ever got the extra shipments, but it did happen at least once a year. The guards were steady and almost didnt put their guns down until a couple came into the ship and looked at the shipment.
"Alright. It's clear." One of the guards said.
"Fine. Unload your shipment and then get out. We can help if you need the assistance, but it's passed curfew for the people aboard this station so make it quick."
"Not a problem sir. I would love the extra help." He smiled to the soldiers as some unloaded the crates while Alex loaded up the Digger with a few to transport into the bay area. He operated the Digger slowly so as to buy time while most of the guards were busy helping unload. They delayed as much as possible for the General to get a clear opening to bring the girl on board. Kalic went into the bottom front of the ship and opened up a secret compartment door he had hid from the security guards. This was where they would pick up the girl. A special room had been set up by Doc. Talin as he was known. His real name was Simon. Either way, he was in the room waiting for her. Kalic had sent the information he needed while they had headed over to the station, so he had gotten right to work on the ride over. Now they just had to get the General to take her to that opening instead of the Cargo opening. "General. The front of the ship has a secret compartment. Take her there so as not to draw attention to yourself when you walk in with her. We will keep them busy." With that, he walked back out to the cargo hold and whistled. Alex who was driving the Digger turned it too quickly, on purpose of course, and hit a couple boxes, knocking the food over. The security guards started to clean up the mess as Alex jumped out of the Digger to help out, apologizing profusely for making the mess as the guards cursed. All of the guards went to help so as to make it as quick a clean up as possible.

"Affirmative. I see you right now" Octavian confirmed, eying the mass of security guards picking up supplies. " Great cover I have to say" he smirked, watching the guards curse as a man knocked over some supplies, forcing them to all start cleaning, distracting them completely.
He took the path to the front of the ship and quietly pulled the cart to the front, looking around carefully, he lifted the tarp a little and looked down at his slumbering child. Her hair floated in the water like strands of silk and her long eyelashes fanned against her cheeks. Sighing he touched the glass gently. " I hope your right about this " he murmured to her, knowing she couldn't hear him.
With any luck, she'd sleep the entire trip.
"I'm at the front Kalic" he spoke quietly into the wrist com.
The guards unloading cargo were boisterous and he hoped that Kalics cover kept them occupied while Maharette was loaded onto the ship.
Otherwise it would get really ugly, really quick.
His hand instinctively slid to his long barrel desert eagle, touching its cool exterior.

Kalic smiled as the General finally got to the front of the ship. "I have my talents." He said as he opened the panel that would lead them inside where they were going to stow the girl in her hibernate state. "Its the people that help me out with them that make it work." He chuckled as he looked down at the new passenger for his ship. The tarp had already been pulled off of her to reveal that she was in a tube of liquid. Simon, or Doc Talin, helped get her out of the cart and into the room they had set for her in this little underground area. "She is a mighty piece of work General. Beautiful girl. It almost takes my breath away." He looked back at the General who was seemingly needed to stay behind from this journey. "We will make sure she remains safe and unharmed until we find the cure for the Syndrome."
"Her vital signs are very good. I will see to it that she is taken care of sir." Simon said as he attached all the cables to the tube that was needed to read her pulse and vital signs. "The file was very detailed about her case. It says she had gotten it from her mother as a fetus. So peculiar. But it would explain how she had stayed alive for so long."
Alex was making everything worse out on the floor as he tried to get the Digger out of the way of the food, but the security guards picking it up made that difficult. Finally the guards moved out of the way and it was easier for the guards to clean the mess as Alex went to get more of the crates. This was a sign that they had almost no time whatsoever. Kalic looked over in concern at the scene.

Octavian snapped up from his thoughts. "Ah, yes... My wife was one of the first to explore RX762, she made contact with one of the Sirens while were were on the surface... We knew she was ill, but she pushed on for the children... My son was born without the virus... But Maharette, she contracted it" he explained politely.
He quickly tapped away on his wrist com. " Alright, I just transfered funds for the trip, its only 8mil now... Let me know if you need more". he said, looking over his shoulder at Kalic.
Looking out the door he could see that the guards were getting ready to leave. " I have to go now, make sure to be gentle with her, she's a delicate little flower. Once you make it to the Haades station give me a call to let me know you got there safe... Oh, and if she wakes up, let her know that love her and that I'll get in contact with her" he sighed.
Slipping his janitor cap back on, he pushed the cart back out the door, and gave Kalic a firm pat on the shoulder. " Be safe my friend, take care of my daughter" he said before slipping away into the shadows.

Kalic saluted the good General as he went on his way back to his quarters. 8 mil was just enough to keep them on the trip for the way there and part of the way back. The way back, if they didnt die first, would cost about a half of that only because of the left over from the way there. When they got there, he would be able to tell whether or not they were going to be able to make a return trip. "Alex, Jake. We are finished. Come on back." He said into the watch as he closed the front panel quickly and walked to the front of the cargo while the Digger came back into the cargo hold to cover him. When he got in, he walked over to the door to close it, but one of the guards walked inside before he could. "Is there a problem?"
"I noticed you were not helping out very much with the Cargo. Is there a reason for that?" The guard eyed him suspiciously.
Kalic smiled at the guard. "Our engine is a little finicky. I had to go help my mechanic." He spoke just as Cali walked out of the Engine room.
"Sorry mr. Guard. I had to steal my captain for a minute. I needed two hands to finish fixing the engine core processor. It's true it has been a little finicky lately. Sorry." She put her hand behind her head, scratching as if she had just gotten in trouble and was embarrassed.
"If you dont mind officer, we need to get going on our next assigned coordinates to search for a planet." He shuffled the guard out, who went willingly even though his suspicion was still there. Unfortunately to keep curfew he had to leave.
Once out of his cargo hold, Kalic almost sighed with relief and dropped to the ground, but there was too much to do. He needed to get the ship off the ground. "Jerry, lets go. We gotta get out of here before they find the girl missing." He said over his watch com.
"On it boss." He said as he fired up the engine.
And then they were off.

It didn't take long for Maharette's disappearance to be known.
"Where is she!?" growled Director Isanov, a thin, wiry man with silver spectacles. He pushed a lock of errant blond hair from his face.
Two muscular grunts held Octavian by both his arms against the steel chair of the interrogation room. His face was already battered and bloodied.
" I wont tell you" Octavian answered calmly
Isanov laughed roughly, and talked back and forth a few times, aggravated before turning back to the General. " You were always a tough nut to crack Lyons... " he admitted, pushing his glasses up the bridge of his nose with one long, pale finger. "But, no matter... There are ways to make people talk... Even people like you" he stated coldly.

The songs reminded her of her Mother. She hardly remembered her, and had only one memory of her own to claim.
She reminisced looking up at her face, exhausted from labor, but so peaceful. Hair falling around her face like pale blond ribbons. Eyes the color of grass. A smile that could break your heart.
And her voice. " Maharette... That will be your name... My precious little girl...".
Then, a lullaby.
"Lennavanmo Lennavanmo who is it swinging you to and fro

loving words of a mother's rune

I am thinking it is an Angel fair

Maharette's eyes flickered open. She was not where she remembered last. The room was dark, and her bed was gone.
Around her the liquid was cool, and she panicked for a moment before realizing that she was in a hibernation tube.
Pressing her hands against the glass, she realized that she was alone.
Searching around, she looked for the release panel, and pressed it.
The liquid was sucked from the tube, and the front fell forward, sending her pitching forward onto her knees. "Oof" she groaned, grabbing a desk nearby to help her to her feet.
The air in the room was chilly against her damp skin and she shivered. "H-Hello?" she said hesitantly.
When there was no answer, she stifled a wave of confusion and walked towards the door. It opened with ease and exposed an empty corridor.

Simon had been in the kitchen with Kalic discussing what they needed to keep the girl comfortable on her way to the planet. All of the crew was a little weary on going to the planet anyway just due to what had happened in their past. Unfortunately an alarm went off on the doctors watch that showed that the girl was released from her tube. Kalic and Simon ran out of the kitchen area, back to where they had been before that, towards the girl's new room. Simon got to the hallway first, but slowed down so that the girl wouldnt get scared if she was awake. When he got to the hallway, heard the sweet little voice.
"Kal, she's awake."
"Is she suppose to be awake? I thought she was going to sleep for most of the trip?"
"It is of course possible for her to awaken early. We are only human after all. We can't predict when the patients awaken."
"True enough... I think we need some lights." He slowly turned the lights on so that they could see her and she could see them, but neither would be blinded by the light. Kalic moved passed the doctor towards the girl to see if she needs help. "Maharette. My name is Captain Kalic Tames. You can call me Kal or Kalic. I am a friend of your father's. My crew and i are the ones that are going to help you find your cure. None of us are going to hurt you." He felt like he was being a little too babyish for his taste. "Sorry. I didnt mean to say it like that." He put his hand behind his head and chuckled a little bit.
"Your making a fool of yourself, Kal." Simon said as he face palmed. "I think she might be hungry. Just dont let Cali see her or...."
"Oh my god, she is sooooo cute! You boys get out of here. We have to get her dressed." Cali ran passed Kalic and pushed him and Simon out of the hallway. "No peeking." Before Kalic and Simon couldn't even say a word before the door was closed in their faces. Cali had a dress in her hands when she had come in and now she was holding it up to Maharette. "I got you this awesome looking dress. You would look absolutely fantastic in it." Her energy was once again gaining control of her. It was hard to be on a boat with only one other female. "I made you up a room in case you woke up too. You are gunna like it here. The guys are totally nice. And cute too!!! Did i mention i made you up a room? I'm so excited." Pounding started up on the door as they heard a voice from the other side. It was Jake.
"Cali, Don't scare the girl to death. Come on. Let her have some breathing room."
"Ohhhhhh. You big oof. She doesnt need a bunch of men surrounding her." She said as she walked back to the door. Before walking out she turned back to the girl. "When your done getting dressed. You can come on out here to meet the guys. I'll give them the ole one two for ya for not respecting your space." With that, the hyper energetic girl opened the door and walked out, closing the door to make her disappear in the cargo bay.

Everything happened so fast. First the lights were on, and then there were two men at the end of the hall speaking.
Blinking back at the brightness, she tried to adjust. A dark named man announced he was the Captain, his name was Kalic, and that he was friends with her Dad.
Then that means that he's let me go? He was so adamant about me staying... What changed...? She thought to herself.
Kalic. The name sounded familiar, but she couldn't place her finger on it.
She opened her mouth to inquire where she was, but then she heard a female voice.
Groggy, disorientated she couldn't make much sense of what was being said.
The woman named Cali was ushering the two men at the end of the hallway away, then she directed Maharette back into a room. Turning to look at the room, she gave it a quick inspection before turning back to the door.
Cali came back in the room and held a deep blue dress with vague water patterning and a flow y bottom against her.

"I got you this awesome looking dress. You would look absolutely fantastic in it." Her energy was once again gaining control of her. It was hard to be on a boat with only one other female. "I made you a room in case you woke up too. You are gunna like it here. The guys are totally nice. And cute too!!! Did i mention i made you a room? I'm so excited."

Opening her mouth to speak yet again, she was interrupted by a pounding on the other side of the door. It was the same masculine voice from the hallway, and he was asking Cali not to crowd Maharette so much.
She watched as Cali retorted to the man through the door, before walking to it. She mentioned that she'd introduce Maharette to the guys after she got dressed, before heading out the door.
For a few second Maharette stood there in shocked silence, still not completely sure what had happened. She noticed that her mouth was slightly gaping, and closed it before looking down at the dress in her hands.
Sighing, she shrugged off her damp hospital issued clothing, she slipped on the dress and ran her fingers through her long, wavy hair to de tangle it. Rubbing her hands against her face a few times she took a deep breath before heading out the door with her old clothes folded neatly in her hands.

(boat. Its a term they use on the space ship because its easier to say. It was a habit i got from the movie serenity.

Disposition: When it comes to speak of the ghost planet, Kalic will grunt and show ff his hatred for it. On the other hand, when it comes to his crew and piloting the ship, he can be a bit of a boss, yet a friend as well. To tell the truth, whenever he is around his crew he talks to them as if he were their friends. Its this thing he does only because he knows that barking orders or telling them to fix something instead of showing them how will lose a crew faster than one can say oopsies. Overall, he is a protective, tough, yet very friendly kind of guy.
Quick Bio: Captain Tames, or Kalic as he prefers to be known, spent his years building up his career as a well known accomplished captain. He built his own ship and made a crew out of his friends from when he was a child. Each of them had chosen different paths such as military, engineer, cook, botanist, doctor, jack of all trades, you name it. He took his crew from that group of people that he cared so much for and made it all his own. Now after a few years being captain, he went out into deep space in search of a planet worthy of calling itself the second earth when he came across another planet they called RX762. His friend went onto the planet and made contact with the wraiths. He had seen the whole thing and got the mild case of Echo syndrome as he dragged his friend back to the ship and flew away. His friend never made it home. After that he kept on searching for other planets to call earth, until the day he got a phone call from an old friend, General Lyons. Now he is told he must go back to the planet he hates most, to find a cure for his friends daughter.

Disposition: Cali has almost a spark that ignites in her all the time. Her energy level goes through the roof when she has something she really wants to talk about or someone she really wants to meet. Anything can make her energy level go out the roof. Whenever dealing with her, people usually dont realize what hit them. Everything happens quickly when it comes to Cali.
Quick Bio: Cali grew up playing around with her brothers when they were learning how to take care of ship engines and build capacitors. She didnt want to do anything but that. When her brother Alex got onto the crew with his friend Kalic Tames, of course she went with them. No one could cook like her. Not even her brother. So she decided tofollow her brother and stow away on the ship. Alex and herself became a team when he found her stealing some of the ships food. They help with anything mechanical. Cali takes care of the ship itself and sleeps in the engine room because its where she is comfortable and warm.

Disposition: Unlike his sister, Alex is a very laid back, relaxed sort of person. If you do anything to him, he will most likely just brush it off as if nothing happened.
Quick Bio: Alex was told how to do mechanics by his father. He taught Alex and his brothers, he told them, and they had to know it by the end of the night. It was his father's thought that the world would end at some point in time and at that time, it would be the mechanics making the money. He even taught his sister some of the time because she just wanted to learn how to do the mechanics. She was the one passionate about it, not him. When his brothers went off to join a ship, he decided to wait for someone to find him. None other than his child hood friend, Kalic Tames, called up on him to go on a ship together. He needed the money to build his own ship, which he did with Alex's help. He found his sister on board when they saw that the food was disappearing little by little for some reason or another. Now he works with her on Kalic's ship and they live happily with the work they do.

Disposition:Jake is also a very demanding sort of person. He hates it when nothing goes as planned and even more, he hates it that people don't always follow through on everything. Another thing about him is he loves to be the boss. When he joined Kalix's crew, he was able to be in sort of the control seat being his second in command.
Quick Bio: Before Joining Kalic's crew, Jake was a hard core military guy, until he was thrown in jail for murdering a man. It technically was self defense, but that was before the third stab the guy received from Jake out of 8. The guy had come up on him as if to start a fight while they were at one of the stations style of bar. The guy had obviously been drunk as he followed Jake to the bathroom there. He didnt care what this guy did, as long as it didnt cause any trouble. The reason this drunk guy started the fight was because he was using the excuse that Jake had been eyeballing his girl. Jake pinned him to the ground before he could throw a punch and then left the bar, but the guy didnt like being humiliated. He brought his posse along with him and went around to find him everywhere in the station. When they found where he was staying, him and his gang started to gang up on him, beating him up as best they could. Unfortunately, when he had enough of getting beat up, he took out his knife and started to fight them with that to stop them an their bludgeoning items. He was sent to jail due to their wounds and the kill stab he had given the man. Kalic got him out of the prison using his connections and asked him to be the weapons specialist for his ship,which he gladly caved in for. They became great friends after that.

Kalic looked at the door as it opened. first a leg stepped out of the door and he knew she wasnt in her hospital dress anymore. When she stepped completely out, he saw the dress she was in and he almost fell in love with it. She was the most beautiful thing he had seen in a long time. "You look very lovely m'lady. Welcome to the Gaia and the crew of her." He said as he held out his arm.
Jake saw that she was as lovely as the others had said. He smiled at the polite gesture his captain had made towards the girl. "Well. You look like a peacock on a mid summers day ma'am." He tipped the hat he was wearing to her. "The name's jacob Bondeer. I'm second in command on this boat and the weapons specialist in case anything goes array." He pointed to Simon. "That is Doctor Simon Tames. He will be taking care of you and your illness. He has experience with Echo Syndrome." Of course when he said he has experience with the syndrome, he meant that he was still dealing with Kalics mild version of the syndrome. He had dealt with Kal's best friend the best he could but could never get it to keep him alive. With that Malcolm had died. Now he was treating Kalic for a small case of it. He went on pointing to Jerry. "That is Jerilon Corbit. He is our pilot and a damn good one at that. Best I've ever seen." He then pointed to Alex. "That there is Alexale Grendule. He's the master engineer. He helped build most of this boat. His sister over there...." He pointed to Cali who ran over to him and gave him a hug. "Though a pain in the rear, is Calinada Grendule. She is the other engineer. She built the engine that the boat runs on. Mighty fine with tools and cooking, but a handful nonetheless." Cali looked up at him and stuck her tongue out. "And of course, you met our cap'ain. Kalic Tames. Youngest, yet brightest mind when it comes to cap'aining a ship. He is extremely good at strategies and plans... And hes quite the Gentleman." He added as Cali let him go and went to start cooking the food for all of them to eat. His western style accent was very clear in his speech when he had introduced everyone. The girl must have been hungry after all this time which was why she started cooking. "Welcome to the crew miss Maharette."

( LOL. Its all good).
Maharette blushed a deep pink under the gaze of of the crew. She felt a little strange in the dress, as she had become accustomed to being dressed in garments such as hospital garb.
She listened politely as the introduced themselves, noting which names went with which faces.
She still couldn't shake the thought that she'd seen Kalic's face before, the feeling of knowing but not knowing why was killing her.
Her stomach growled loudly, and she covered her mouth in embarrassment.
"Ah, yes... Thank you for having me" she said politely.
Noticing that Cali had disappeared into a room, she abruptly smelled the beginning stages of food, and felt her mouth water.
It was strange to wake up aboard this vessel, but she sensed that all of the crew were kind individuals, so she immediately felt at ease.

Kal let his arm go down seeing how the girl did not take it. Her voice seemed so familiar. Alex, Jerry and Jake went out of the room and into the kitchen. Jerry decided to go to his cockpit instead. He usually ate better alone and when he could control where they were going. Simon walked up to Maharette to check her vital signs once more. "Dont mind me Maharette. I'm checking to see if you are ok. If it is ok with you, I will lead you to the kitchen. Cali is cooking us something to eat... Kal. Can you get my kit from the med office?" Kal left and went towards the doctors quarters. Simon took the girl gently by the hand and led her to the kitchen where there was a table she could sit at for the dinner Cali was making.

Kal reached Simon's room and grabbed the pack he used to treat him for the Echo Syndrome. He walked up to the kitchen and sat down in one of the seats. Cali finished up the food and set up the tables to serve it. She made a plate for Jerry and brought it up to him before coming back and sitting at the table. Kal gave Simon the pack he asked for. Simon took it and put it next to him.
