A thread only for WeBuiltThePyramids and ContessaLeandra~! You can watch, but no posting~

Name: Prince Perseus Perseidae

Age: Several Earth centuries--the equivalent age in Andromeda is 23.

Appearance: Long and straight black hair, pale green skin, and blue eyes. Slim, but athletic build. Antennae. Preference for neon green and black clothing. Recent Sketch & Old Art is Old

Brief Background: Prince Perseus is from the planet Argos in the Andromeda Galaxy. He is next in line for the throne, however, his father is reluctant to abdicate it to him. It is true that Perseus is strong and intelligent... But while he has gone on various successful military exploits, Perseus is far more known for his "escapades" around Andromeda and adjacent galaxies. He is very flamboyant, a party boy, and a ladies' man. Andromeda has lost contact with its favorite planet and inhabitants--Earth--since ancient Greece. In order to try and earn his father's approval, Perseus seeks a matrimonial union with an Earthling female of royal descent to reestablish that contact. He journeys to Earth in a bullet-shaped spacecraft with a crew of four others. A fool's errand? Perhaps.

The spacecraft Medousa had been in Earth's orbit for a couple of hours already; Prince Perseus was simply having trouble deciding where he wanted to land. The bridge itself was not too large, considering no more than two or three people needed to be there at one time. He sat comfortably in his captain's chair while the pilot, Phaethon, steered them along. To his right stood his trusty four-armed and muscular bodyguard Oedipollophaestios. His crew also consisted of the ship's mechanic, a centaur called Tykho who remained in the engine room, and a "doctor" or "science officer" named Aristotle with his own lab and medical wing a floor down. Perseus pursed his lips, using an analog stick on his chair's armrest to flick through various places otherworldly travelers liked to visit when they decided to come to Earth.

"I haven't a clue where to start," he sighed, settling back in his chair and glancing at Oedipollophaestios (who, for all intents and purposes, will have his name abbreviated to 'Ed'). "What do you think?" The brawny bodyguard's expression remained unchanging, but his eyes drifted down to the Prince's face. "Our galaxy has had no contact with Earthlings for several millenia. We were once popular in Ancient Greece, but that is no longer an ideal area to visit. It is far too developed." Perseus sighed in frustration, kicking his feet around wildly. "Phaethon?!" The pilot whirled around in his own chair, beaming. He had multicolored hair, but was otherwise humanoid in appearance. "Your Highness, how about the American Southwest?"

Perseus' brow, if he'd had one, would have crept up. "You mean Mexico? I've heard that the Mayans are agreeable..." Ed cut in, leaning towards the prince confidentially. "The Mayans aren't in power anymore, sire. He means the Southwestern United States." Perseus cupped his chin pensively, and then dropped his hand back to the analog stick. "Very well. In the interest of time, I will select an arbitrary location in the Southwestern United States... But let us not forget our mission." He grinned devilishly. How could he, Prince Perseus Perseidae, ever forget about a woman?!

A small town, called "Wells, Nevada" popped up onscreen. Phaethon bent down to his controls, confirming the coordinates. "Local time is 9pm." Perseus laced his fingers together, smirking. "Shall we?" The pilot wiggled in his seat, unable to contain his excitement. They'd been traveling a long way! It would be nice to be on solid ground for once. Of course, to the citizens of Wells, only a streak of light across the starry sky would signal their arrival...

Miranda Lambert's 'Only Prettier' blared through the white ipod head phones around her neck as Willow neared the stopping point for her weekly run.She had slowly been pushing it farther and father outside of town since High School and by now could make it to the edge of town.Pass the rows of neat white houses, one of which belonged to her parents, to the cheesy alien themed diner that was just far enough out of town that the ' true believes' didn't bug the locals but close enough that the drive to get the best burger around didn't eat through your tank.

For reasons of personally safety she didn't go any farther. It was the last building in Wells until you reached the next town. Only an idiot would go running off into the desert at any point during the day let alone at night. So ever since her senior year she had made it a point to stop at the dinner to order a soda and rest before jogging back home. The parking lot was unsurprisingly empty for a Thursday night which meant she wouldn't have to deal with any whack jobs. Which was to her liking, while some of her high school friends thought that the crazies were fun to mess with and over all entertaining Willow only ever got a headache from them. But the place had some of the best grease covered food and she was willing to deal for greasy goodness.

Stretching her arms over her head she popped her neck before heading across the gravel parking lot. The dinner had been made to look as if a space ship had crashed through the side and the sphere at the top gave off a green glow that illuminated the entire building and parking lot. As she drew closer to the front door Willow was confused to see that none of the inside lights were on. Normally Gary kept the place open till ten, if only on Thursday nights. But he had run off from time to time chasing some new lead or going off to Roswell to try and find the crash site. which was just great for her since she had skipped diner. The a self defense class for women at the Tea Kwon Do center had run late that night when one of her student had asked to be showed a certain move.

Kicking at a cluster of gravel Willow brushed some of the bangs out of her face and turned to head back to her apartment. Instead she was stopped by a beam of light cutting across the sky. It was too bright to be a shooting star, a plane maybe? But that didn't make sense it looked far to close to the ground. Taking a deep breath and reminding herself that she was a black belt and had her cell phone on her. Willow headed in the direction the light was going. If it was a plane then that meant it was going to crash and someone might be hurt.

The Medousa touched down in the foothills of a desert mountain range just outside of Wells. It was bullet-shaped, with no exterior extremities; no wings, no windows, no markings. The outside appeared to be constructed from a reflective, metallic alloy of some kind, allowing it to mirror its surroundings and obscure it from sight. Here, the vessel camouflaged itself among the rocks, minimal vegetation, and darkness. Without warning, a slit carved itself into the side of the ship. The crack grew and widened into an opening. Below the opening, a rectangle of alloy lengthened and formed a ramp in conjunction with the ground.

Light silhouetted Perseus' figure as he strolled regally down the ramp into the crisp night air. His bodyguard, Ed, followed suit. The Prince did not believe Earth people capable of subduing of him, but it was a matter of protocol that Ed stay with him at all times. After all, the people of Argos and the denizens of Andromeda did not wish for harm to befall their Crown Prince! That was what Perseus liked to tell himself, anyway. He surveyed the landscape quietly, hands on his hips. "This is...Rural," he commented, for lack of a better, kinder word. Ed, ever stoic, said nothing in response. Perseus' antennae drooped in disappointment. Well, it was worth a look.

"I doubt I am going to find any princesses here," Perseus mumbled, slinging his hands deep into his pockets. He followed a deer path along the side of the hill to its base, until he hit something that resembled pavement. The ground was no longer rough and stony, anyway. Various lights were scattered along the horizon. Human houses, he assumed. One particular neighborhood did not seem too far away on account of the brightness of its lights--a kilometer, at most. He saw something opaque stretching above him. He squinted to make it out. A sign, perhaps? And just a little farther down the road, a peculiar, faintly green light. "Why, it's practically abandoned!" he cried indignantly. "Not a soul out, and it's only nine! What a bore..."

Running the glow from the flashlight app over the rough ground in front of her Willow made sure to avoid that little dip in the shoulder that was sure to spell sprained ankle. It was times like these she truly loved her smart phone. She had missed the spot the plane, she was going to keep calling it a plane landed/crashed in.However since the only sound that had cut through the silence was the crickets and the soft hum of the music coming from her headphones she was starting to think the plane hadn't crashed at all.

"Hello, Is anyone out there." Heading further away from the dinner she brought her phone up to illuminate the surrounding area. It looked like plain undisturbed desert as far as she could tell. "Hello," The only answer she cot was the distant howl of a coyote.

The night air was starting to get chilly and that fact that she had worked up a slight sweat from her run wasn't helping in keeping her warm. "This is stupid. I'm out in the desert looking for a ufo/plane thing- sort of- with out a jacket. I'm going back home before I get eaten by a coyote." Looking out over the stretch of desert she called out one more time."Okay I'm leaving good luck out there."If there was anyone out there at all. She shouldn't have been out there in the first place. The sane thing to do would have been to call the sheriff, which in her defense she had planned on doing when she found the plane. Which she now doubted was even a plane. Turning back around she made to head back to the diner and the road that would take her back to her apartment. Where a warm shower, left overs, and a recorded episode of Grimm was waiting for her.

Perseus' antennae twitched, indicating his awareness of a noise--and not just any noise!! His head whipped in the noise's direction, mouth abruptly widening into a grin. "Hello, is anyone out there?" a distinctly female voice called from the direction of the road, albeit faintly. She was some distance away; her voice had been carried to Perseus by means of a gentle wind. There was someone out there after all! He could barely contain himself now, his hands were shaking with anticipation. "It's a girl!" he cried gleefully, causing Ed to raise a skeptical brow. "So it is," the bodyguard replied. What happened next might have been terribly inconvenient for Ed, if he were not already used to the Prince's antics.

Perseus took off sprinting, his neon green caplet fanning out behind him. He bounded seamlessly over a boulder and landed with all the grace of a cat on what humans referred to as a "sidewalk". The Prince then wheeled down alley and turned furiously onto another street. His bodyguard tucked two arms around his front in order to make them less cumbersome as he pursued Perseus, whose exuberance made him quite the runner. It was probably best that no humans roamed the streets at this hour, on account of the Prince's inhuman speed and bizarre attire that rivaled anyone attending a sci fi convention.

"She's close!" he laughed enthusiastically, and then completed the sentiment wholly by kicking off one wall to jump clear over another. The bodyguard dug his heels into the concrete so as to prevent himself from colliding into the wall. He screeched to a halt, sparks dancing around the soles of his metallic boots. "Sire," Ed sighed. "Your enthusiasm for the female persuasion never fails to astound me." He climbed the wall effortlessly with the use of all four arms, only to find Perseus ducking behind a lamppost and gawking at the young woman moving towards the green light in the distance. "A human girl!" Perseus practically squealed, hopping up and down. "I've only seen them in pictures!"

Ed reached for the Prince, to stop him from acting brashly, but it was too late. No more than a split second later, the Andromedan aristocrat had crept up on the female. He was just about to throw his now-unattached cape over her head lest she screamed as he carried her off.

In the glow of the dinner's spaceship Willow shoved the headphones back into her ears as the chorus of 'Cowboy Casanova' started up.Singing along with Carrie Underwood She made her way toward the far end of the parking lot. The glow of the towns street light in the distance looked much farther then they normally did. She was having a hard time convincing herself that she wanted to run the whole way back. Her muscles were sore of course a mile run after through someone twice your size over your shoulder several item in a row could do that.

It was creepy out here alone at night. Which was the deciding factor on her inner argument to run or walk. Running would get her closer to civilization faster. Putting her hand on her hips she turned a little to the right to pop her back. That's when she caught sight of the shadow behind her. Every muscle in her body tensed up and for a split second her mind went black of every bit of self defense knowledge she had accumulated over the years. Then as if someone had turned on a switch she remembered just what to do.

It was obviousness that who ever was behind her didn't know that she had seen them, or they would have attacked her by now, so she still had an element of surprise.Of course it could always be Gary but he knew better then to sneak up on her in the middle of the night. Taking in one calming breathe she took a half step back and pivoted on her left foot sending her right fist at the general direction of the persons face.Sending all of her body weight into the punch she kept her left arm up by her face encase they tried to attack her in return. If she made it out of this then she was going to the gym like every other sane person. No matter how good an Invasion of the Body Snatcher malt was.

Perhaps he was just a tad ignorant, but Prince Perseus had not expected the human girl to notice him, much less retaliate! He'd always prided himself in his stealthiness before! But it occurred to Perseus, as her fist collided with his face, that faith in it might have been an oversight on his part. The force of the girl's punch sent the alien careening backwards onto the floor. As his bodyguard, Ed's initial response would have been to rush to the Prince's aid. However, he knew that a human could not cause significant harm to an Andromedan with fists alone. If she had a weapon or chemical concoction of some kind, it would be a different story altogether. But for the moment, he opted to stay hidden. A four-armed massive being did not tend to dissuade screaming.

"Ouuuccch!" Perseus whined, "That smarts!" He rubbed his lip to test the effect of her blow, and winced. A smudge of tar-like fluid came off onto his hand. It was the Andromedan's equivalent to human blood. "You hit very well," he marveled, mouth spreading into a grin again. The Prince's blue eyes flickered to the human's face as he dragged himself to his feet. He plucked his cape up from the floor and began slapping the dust off of it. "I would advise you not to run, human," he said in English this time, his voice slowing to a quiet drawl. "I have my ways of catching you. And if you want to fight, I'll be more than happy to subdue you."

Now, Perseus had a very human appearance, save for a couple of factors that threw everything off. He was tall and slender, but in an athletic way. He had silky black hair that fell to just below his shoulder blades. All of his limbs and appendages were human-like. He had ten fingers and ten toes. However, his skin was a light shade of green. Instead of eyebrows, he had two black circular marks reminiscent of Heian Japan. He had no visible ears, only antennae with black globes at their ends. And it was evident, as he grinned, that Perseus had particularly sharp incisors. His gait was fluid and graceful; not at all clumsy. So in that way, perhaps his movements came off as inhuman. "Do you know what I am?" he asked, straightening to his full imposing height.

Willow's heart was beating against her rib cage like a humming bird, she held her defensive stance while she stared at the..man? No the figure getting off the ground wasn't a man, or at least no man she had ever seen. She faltered her arms lowering slightly as a look of confusion and horror crossed her face. Blue eyes widened fear darkening them as she took a step backwards. Her phone was zipped up in the pocket of her shorts and by the time she got her shaking hands to unzip in a pull it out he could attack. What was he any way? Well she knew he was much taller then her that was for sure.and she guessed he was male, he certainly sounded male.

Taking another step back she wondered just how fast she would have to run to get away from him. Caught sight of the dinner out of her peripheral vision.her body langue changed in a instant. She wasn't standing in front of an alien she was standing in front of some whack-a-doodle who had painted himself green. She felt like an idiot for being scared. Then again who knows how dangerous these deranged fan boys could be.Eyes that had once been widened in fear narrowed as she stared up at the guy. She was still holding out hope that it was Gary, though she was sure he wasn't that tall of that thin.

Tilting her head up so that she she could try to look him in the eyes Willow tightened up her stance again,"Yeah your one of those x-files, the truth is out there, alien hunters right?"This nerd thought he could subdue her. Ha, sure you should never under estimate someone but she had learned to use any strength he had against him. In this light he didn't look like he had much strength to him.a tiny voice in the back of her head reminded her that even if he was a nerd he could still be dangerous. She needed to tread lightly,"What are you doing out here."

Perseus expected the girl to fear him. As a result, he also expected screaming, running, clawing, fighting, and similar behaviors. When native beings came into contact with foreign beings from other planets, bearing features that they did not recognize or believe to exist, it was natural for them to react in such a way. Well, not that Perseus thought he looked particularly intimidating as far as aliens went. He considered himself fairly dashing and devilishly handsome--otherwise he wouldn't have had so many flings with women on different planets over the course of his lifetime. And he found all manner of women attractive. He was not remotely "racist". In fact, as he gazed upon the female human, he thought to himself that she was very comely indeed.

She had lovely dark hair and blue eyes, creamy skin... She was fleshy and curvy in the right places, and slender in the right places, causing the Prince's eyes to wander more than a little longingly along her figure. However, Perseus reminded himself that the human had never seen anyone like him before. Rather than drop willingly into his arms as he desired her to, she would be more likely to flee in terror. But that was not what the human did. He could not have predicted this particular reaction. "Yeah, you're one of those X-files, the truth is out there, alien hunters right?" she asked. Perseus blinked a few times, clearly perplexed.

"What are you talking about?" he asked, cocking his head to the side. "Do humans hunt aliens?" This was very disconcerting--quite a change from the attitude humans had towards his kind in the past! But that was beside the point. Perseus shook his head to snap himself back into reality, and then took a measured step towards the girl. "I am Prince Perseus Perseidae of the Planet Argos. It is the most densely-populated planet in the Andromeda Galaxy. I have come to Earth seeking diplomatic relations with humans." He grinned again, sharp canines on full display. "...In the form of matrimony, of course. Tell me, who is the princess of Wells, Nevada?" If there is none, he thought, I will not wait a moment longer and push my luck. This girl is as good as any. I can always claim she is a princess when I go back. Who's to know?

It was reflex Willow told her self when she took a step back to his step forward she just didn't want crazy that close to her. This guy was way into his costume. Maybe someone had watched reruns of Roswell one to many time. Not that she would blame anyone for watching it.Now if all aliens looked like Jason Behr then she would be a little more open to the idea of them being real. Prince Perseus? He had to be pulling her leg. No way did this guy think he was an alien prince.

Mentally rolling her eyes Willow thought, 'yeah and I'm Princess Leia.' Taking another step away from the guy all she wanted to do was get back home, lock her door and move that baseball bat sitting in her kitchen to the side of her bed. This was pushing her quota for creepy.Nerd or not the guy was starting to really unnerve her," Well um..since this is the Untied States we don't really have a...princess." she could feel all the confidence in her fighting slipping out of her. Oh god she could see the headline now. Young coed found murdered outside of town, if they found her. She would have felt much better if he just attacked her so she could beat the crap out of him and run away.

" Sorry you came all the out here but uh..I should really get home. My boyfriend is expecting me back." Lie. There was no boyfriend and no one but Gary knew she ran out this way every Thursday. She liked the isolated feeling it gave her.But this was the last Thursday night run she made alone ever.

"Boyfriend?" Perseus echoed, tilting his head again. Did she mean her lover? He hardly cared. On his planet, princes did not have to honor other romantic engagements. If they desired someone, they took them. And the more the girl resisted Perseus, the more the Andromedan wanted to take her. "If there are not any princesses," he replied, continuing to smile, "Then I will be perfectly satisfied with an arbitrary human girl of my liking. You, in fact, are quite pretty. Quite suitable, I think. What do they call you?" He meant to ask for the human girl's name obviously.

Something told Prince Perseus that the female was not buying "him" and his "story". Which was predictable, given the circumstances. She probably thought this was a practical joke of some kind, or that he was a crazy person in costume. How could he prove to her his true identity without startling her so much her little fragile heart gave out? What to do, what to do. Ed lurked in the shadows behind the aristocrat, more of a presence than anything. His assistance with the girl was not yet needed. "You know, my dear, I am beginning to think you don't believe me. While the lighting here is admittedly poor... I promise you that I am real. I am truly a visitor to your planet. Would you like a demonstration?" Perseus asked with a chuckle. He was unsure why, but the situation amused him.

Perhaps it was simply that he was unused to meeting those who were ignorant of life outside of their own planets. It rarely happened in his galaxy (and he rarely traversed the universe outside of it regardless). The man lifted both his hands and used one to remove the glove from his right hand. He then offered the exposed hand to her. "Go ahead. Touch me." On close inspection, one could see that the green had a slightly metallic tinge to it, and the individual skin cells vaguely resembled scales. If she touched him, he would be cold, like a reptile. The color was not painted on. It was genuine.

"And if that does not satisfy you," he laughed, "You are more than welcome to tug one of my antennae." For added effect, the alien moved them about. One perked itself, drifting up, while the other lowered and curled towards her. "Just be gentle~" Something like a blush colored his cheeks. It was bluish, however, rather than pink. "They are oh-so sensitive."

The gall, the nerve, oh now she hoped the whack-a-doodle laid a hand on her just so she could take all the anger that had rapidly built up inside of her out on him.It was his fault after all so it would only be right to beat some sanity into him. 'You, in fact, are quite pretty. Quite suitable, I think.' Who did he think he was.Of course she had no plans on saying that to his face. As angry as she was,an extra two hours in the dojo tomorrow was going to be needed, she wasn't stupid enough to set him off unnecessarily.

Willow stared up at him, oh hell no was she going to touch him. No. You didn't go around touch strange men you met in the desert claiming to be aliens. You just didn't. Though maybe she could prove to him that he wasn't who he was saying he was. Wipe off some of the green paint and show it to him. Then maybe she could get out of here. Of course if he made a grab for her he would find out she wasn't some helpless female. So with a much confidence in her actions as she could muster Willow reached out to touch his offered hand.

It wasn't flesh. At least not human flesh. Oh god. Her mind froze fear taking over every muscle as her mind processed what it was she was feeling where normal human skin should be. His hand was cold. No big deal since the desert wind had started to pick up a little and you could feel the end of summer setting in. It was the scales, the very real.."Oh god".
he fight or flight response kicked in and with little though Willow turned and started running towards town as fast as her legs could carry her. When watching horror movies people always laugh at the female lead as she tried to run away from the killer. Her movements were always frantic and clumsy. While sitting in the comfort of your living room it was easy to forget how fear locked up muscles and joints. It was all she could do to keep her self from tripping over a rock.

(( Had to do some god-modding.. Sowwie! T^T ))

Perseus exploded into laughter the moment the female touched his hand, went pale, and immediately whirled around to flee...Though it was short-lived. Now was the time to move! His azure orbs sought Ed, who nodded to him in understanding. The bodyguard seemed to vanish into thin air. Really, Perseus' glance had just been a silent command for Ed to alert Phaethon. The pilot would then bring the Medousa around so they could depart quickly. The goal was to make a fast getaway with the girl before someone noticed (or she caused enough of scene for someone to come outside and see things they ought not to).

As Ed disappeared, Perseus sprang into action. Literally. He shot after the human girl, who had not yet relented her name to him, and did a very graceful back flip over her. He landed just in front of her, and in a flash, grabbed both of her arms in his hands and wrenched her against him. One could easily tell from the strength of his grip that, regardless of whatever military training she'd had, he could subdue her with great ease and satisfaction. "I told you not to run from me," Perseus reminded her, leaning in rather intimately and grinning in the same self-assured way as always. The human's face was exceedingly lovely close up, but she would assuredly be terrified by his proximity at this point. And he preferred not to have to drug her.

Perseus turned the girl's body abruptly and pinned her back to his chest. His exposed hand clasped both wrists above her head, and the gloved one covered her mouth tightly. "Don't scream," he whispered softly into her ear. Her hair tickled his cheek, and smelled vaguely floral. "Don't struggle. And, most importantly, don't try to bite me, hmm? It will do you no good. This glove can withstand temperatures equivalent to the center of your Earth. I highly doubt your teeth can inflict much damage to it."

As if on cue, the bullet-shaped Medousa rose up from behind the series of white houses lining the street. It made a soft humming noise, the edges of the sky around it warping in a way resembling heat waves radiating off of pavement.

Terrified did not even begin to describe the feeling coursing through her. Since middle school she had been learning how to defend her self. She could take on three of the fully grown men trying to earn their black belts and come out of the match sweaty but the victor. But at this moment she couldn't do anything. Willow was completely helpless and the feeling made her sick.It was useless and she understood that but she wasn't the type to go down with out a fight. So she struggled, tried to bite the glove despite his words. In a vain attempt because she was really to panicked to do any good she had even tried kicking at his shines.

"Please No." The words were muffled by the cloth of his glove covering her mouth and the catch in her voice. Tears had started to leak from wide blue eyes as she looked around for some form of help. hwy couldn't Gary have been open. She should have been on her way home by now stomach full and with a bottle of water that Gary always managed to talk her in to taking."No." She couldn't stop the tears. Her brother started his senior year of high school in a few weeks and her and her mother had that big shopping trip planned. who was going to open the Tae Kwon Do center in the morning.

She should have just stayed at home like any normal person. Tugging at her arms she tried to rip them from his grip. She wasn't going to let him just take her.Flight had failed so it was left to fight. She tried again to kick his shine this time knocking her head back with all the force she could muster.

Truthfully, this was not the manner in which Perseus would have liked to have taken the girl. He would have much preferred to meet with her parents and ask their permission, offer them goods and riches, and have her willingly accept his matrimonial offer. However, with diplomatic relations between their planets virtually nonexistent, Prince Perseus had few choices on the matter. Try as he might, he could not "abduct" her peaceably. Honestly, Perseus was so keen on winning his father's approval that he could care less if female cried and begged him to release her. It was hardly a new scenario anyway, according to his ship's records.

Humans were extremely fascinating to extraterrestrials, and they were abducted all the time for various reasons. Those that were returned after abduction often had strange tales to share with the public and were, in most cases, scoffed at. Humans were not easy to establish contact with. They were a very violent, skeptical race. To be fair, Perseus' intentions for the girl were relatively benevolent. He had no desire to carve her open on an operating table while she remained conscious, only put her back together again. If he could simply get her onto the Medousa, he could explain everything. He could show her his technology, tell her about all the other worlds out there, and thus prove that he was no monster. He could take her on an adventure of her lifetime.

But in this state, at this time, Perseus had to pretend to be a villain in her life story. (Which he might have actually been, but not from his perspective.) "I cannot," he said, feigning sadness (although in retrospect, his tone might have sounded condescending). She struggled fiercely, like a cornered animal on its last legs, and he had some trouble keeping a hold on her for all her wiggling. But Perseus was determined! He withstood a couple of painful kicks to the shins, gripping her as though his life depended on it. (And it did!) His black hair whipped around his face as the Medousa drifted low over the houses, stirring up wind and dust around the pair of them. The ship's humming increasing in volume as its side opened up and the alloy ramp extended down to the ground at the Prince's feet.

"Time to go," Perseus announced to the human in a sing-song voice. "Up you go!" Putting all propriety and decency aside, he lifted her and slung her over his shoulder as though she were a light sack, and carried her up the ramp and into the ship. Ed waited at the doorway in all his muscular, four-armed glory while Medousa's side sealed up again. "Set a course for T-39," the Prince said quickly before brushing past him with the girl. He was making a bee Line for the Medical wing. Aristotle would have to make a few "adjustments" to the human--otherwise she would not last long in space.

Willow didn't stop struggling even after he had thrown her over his shoulder like she was a fleshy sack. Though for all she knew that's what he saw her as. She pounded her hands in the his back and tried to wiggle out of his grasp. She'd take falling on her head if it would free her.

It was over however. She was on his ship and...oh what was that? The creature had four arms. She was doomed. The fight slowly leaked out of Willow as she stared at what she assumed was a wall. At this point if all the abduction stories were true she was about to be cut up and dissected. She wasn't looking forward to that. More tears sprung from her eyes at the thought.

"Please. Don't" The words were little chocked out gasp behind tears. She didn't normally cry this much unless, well she dad held her self together better when her grandfather had died. Crying and being up side down like this was making her head hurt which she figured was the least of her problems right now. It was just so...well it gave her something else to focus on. Fighting was useless, fleeing had failed.

The human body wasn't that complicated and if even half of the people who claimed to have been abducted were telling the truth then they should know all they needed to know. She wasn't needed. In her state of panic she had forgotten just what it was Perseus had told her he came here for.

Prince Perseus was taken aback by how much the human female wept. Her eyes were leaking all over the place, and even after she'd ceased her flailing, she continued to plead and sniffle like a child. He supposed he could not blame her, given the situation, but it honestly made him wonder if she had listened to a word he'd said! She was not going to be dissected, killed, or raped. Or even eaten! The denizens of Argos were vegetarian, for Zeus' sake!

"What are you going on about?" he asked, visibly puzzled. As they arrived at the entrance of the Medical wing, he deposited her directly from his shoulder onto the floor. The Prince's hands fell on his hips and he eyed her with open confusion. "Listen, there's no use in crying." Perseus did not appreciate tears--he had no tear ducts! "I am not going to harm you. If you remember what I said earlier, I came to Earth for diplomatic reasons. My planet has not had contact with your kind since Ancient Greece, and now I begin to see why! Humans are very unreasonable."

The Prince pressed a button by what appeared to be an airtight metal door. There was a brief buzzing sound, followed by a beep and click. The door slid open with a whoosh, revealing a scowling, tall young man. He wore spectacles, which he shoved up the bridge of his nose with a gloved finger, and a neon green labcoat of a similar hue to Perseus' cape. Apart from that, his skin was identical to the Prince's, and his hair was purple and tied back into a ponytail. Instead of antennae, however, he had pointed ears. "Perseus...I see that you obtained a female rather quickly," he commented, casting a look at the sniveling mess below him. "I'm not exactly picky," Perseus replied sheepishly. "I know," the scientist retorted. He did not seem to be in good spirits. "Well, bring her inside."

Rather than force the girl to get up, Perseus seized one of her wrists and dragged her past the metal entryway. The floor was slippery enough for him to do so without creating any discomfort for her. "May we begin anew?" Perseus asked her. "As I said before, my name is Prince Perseus of Argos. What do they call you?" The scientist stood across the chamber, disentangling a set of wires from a station of some kind. "And I am Aristotle. Not that anyone cares to know." His lips stretched into a thin line; something akin to a forced, wry smile.

He was here for diplomatic reason her ass. He snatched her up off the side of the road. Whipping the tears from her face Willow would admit that he was right in one sense, crying was useless.Crying wouldn't change anything, and it wasn't going to help her think of a way to take down the green...two green men in front of her. She was about to force her self to stand up. she had already be hauled around like trash she wasn't going to sit on the floor while they looked down on her. Well she was going to stand till Prince Perseus started dragging her across the floor.

The tears wear still pooling in the corners of her blue eyes. And the tear streaks were still slightly wet and they trailed down her checks. But she did her best to glare up at the sorry excuse for a Prince with all the left over anger she could muster."You kid napped me. You crept up behind me up behind me and kidnapped me off the side of the road. How am I suppose to reasonable respond to that. I thought tears and fighting you were the proper protocol." She wanted to add a jerk face at the end, it felt like it should be added. But she had a feeling it wouldn't be appreciated.

Turning blues eyes to watch what the other green man was doing she ran nervous fingers over the edge of her short cargo shorts. She didn't know what that thing he was messing with was used for but she had a feeling she was going to find out. Looking back at her capture she took a hard swallow of her pride, "Willow." She didn't want o give him her name, she didn't want to be here but that was a given. If it wasn't for the fact that she didn't trust him when he said he wasn't going to hurt her she would have been a difficult a possible.

The Prince winced as the human female yelled at him, pointing out the ways she'd been mistreated. He tried to remind himself of pleasing his father, repeatedly. At least she'd finally relented her name. Willow, eh? Lovely. Unfortunately, her hostility was less than charming. "Yes, that's all very well and good, but I would not have had to resort to those methods if I wasn't entirely sure that you would resist me. Could I say, 'Excuse me, I am an alien. Would you kindly come with me'? Of course not!" He glowered, practically glaring. "Humans are notorious for killing each other, never mind everyone else that comes along. I've read countless cases actually..." He glanced at Aristotle, who arched a brow. "..Regarding extraterrestrials that have crash-landed on Earth. And, instead of being helped by your governments, they were captured and tested on! Using you as a less extreme example, rather than hearing what I had to say or giving me the benefit of the doubt, you ran from me as soon as you knew what I was!"

Perseus seated himself in a cold, amorphous chair by Aristotle, folding his arms over his chest crossly. The "doctor" had finally gotten most of the wires straightened out. There were small suction cups on the ends of each of them, and to his left sat a beaker with a hot pink concoction inside of it. At the bottom of the liquid rested two purple pills. There was a table of sorts in the room, but not an operating table like the ones Willow had undoubtedly imagined. It was more like partially-upright patient bed. "Sit here," Aristotle commanded her, gesturing to it. "If you're afraid, don't be. You have to worry about two things where we are headed--your inability to survive in alien atmospheres, and your lack of communication skills. I have the means to solve both problems for you, but you are going to have to cooperate with me." Aristotle loved experimenting on specimens as much as the next scientist, but this was Perseus' prize. He was not about to try anything funny with her, lest he feel the Prince's wrath. Besides, he enjoyed watching him flounder as he interacted with Willow. Perseus was not used to women rejecting him, and it was hilarious.

Standing up will ow turned so that she was facing the prince, even sitting down he was still to tall for her to properly look down on. "Of course I ran, hell what sane person wouldn't have run? And might I point out you were planning on dragging me on to this..." She gestured around the room as if she was trying to figure out what to call. She didn't want to say the word space ship, because despite the situation that was a little to syfy movie net work for her. "Ship anyway." Mimicking him she crossed her arms turning her head away from him.

He kept acting as if her behavior was uncalled for, as if she was suppose to be okay with all of this. " Did you ever think about the fact that I might NOT want to be here." Turning her head away from him she was sure she was about to start crying again. Not the large bawling panic filled tills from earlier but the kind that were silent and normally came at the end of a said movie. Like Armageddon, she always cried a the end.

Willow stared at the pink concoction in side the beaker. It looked a lot like pepdobismal. dropping down to seat where the guy named after the dead Greek philosopher told her to sit. She was going to have to do what they said until they either hurt her or she found a way to escape. Though she was sure that the last part wasn't going to happen in the near future. She would just have to wait it out. This had to been shock setting in because she was vaguely aware that she shouldn't be this calm. She was pretty sure she should still be a pathetic bundle of tears. "What are you going to do to me?" She looked toward what she assumed was the doctor. Her tone quieter then the one she used when snapping at Prince full of himself.

Prince Perseus opened his mouth, but closed it again as he realized he had no intelligent rebuttal. He had not thought anything of the girl's opinion. He'd initially felt that many humans would enjoy being whisked off of their planet into the great unknown, on account of leading previously uninteresting lives. Perseus had not even considered that Willow might be one of the few who enjoyed her Earthly existence. The Prince scowled openly. He supposed he'd been too caught up with his own needs and desires, and had conveniently forgotten that women had the capacity to think.

If he knew anything from his past experiences, women absolutely hated it when men forgot that they could think. It was patronizing. Offensive. Degrading. And everything similar. What was more, Perseus still intended to marry the human girl when they arrived at Argos. But how could that work if Willow loathed the very sight of him? It did no good to take a wife who shied from his touch. He would have to do quite a lot of sucking up to get her to forgive him for what he'd done. This is a right old mess you've gotten yourself into it, Perseus, the Prince thought.

"You should leave now," Aristotle said, causing the Prince to snap back to reality. "Hm?" He blinked. "Your presence is making her uncomfortable," the doctor said as Willow seated herself on the patient table. "Her negative emotions towards you are interfering with her logic. I will finish a lot faster if you are not here." Ouch. "Very well," the Prince mumbled. His blue eyes flickered to Willow, who had her arms crossed and her face angled away from him. She did not seem to want to look at him at the moment. Well, it was all the same to the Prince. He could always stop at another planet for temporary women, if she insisted on hating him. He'd eventually change her mind, as far as he was concerned... But the biological adjustments were more important for the time being. Without another word, the Andromedan stood and headed for the sliding metal door. After another whoosh sound, he had vanished.

The alien doctor pushed his spectacles up the bridge of his nose again, and turned back the the human. The clear, hot pink fluid contained in the beaker was a solvent that activated when it came into contact with water-based organic material. The pills at the bottom would only react with the solvent once it had been activated. The purpose of the resulting solution was to coat the interior of Willow's lungs with a thin membrane that could process different mixtures of air. In other words, Willow would be able to breathe on various planets--even ones with different ratios of oxygen to other gases. "You're going to have to drink this," he said, and offered the small beaker. "Including the pills. I know what you're thinking, and you're wrong. I have no intention of poisoning you and doing tests on you. This solution will give your lungs the ability to process different types of air. I assume you don't want to wear a spacesuit every time we land?"

What the doctor did not inform the female of was the colorless sedative laced throughout the solvent. It would knock her out not even two minutes after finishing the concoction. He would then be able to attach a chip the size of her pinky nail directly to brain via her nasal canal. The chip was an Aural Translator, which would grant her the ability to understand the Thirty Standard Languages of the universe. Telling her this outright, however, would likely terrify her. Humans quailed at the mention of anything remotely invasive, regardless of how quick and painless it was. Andromedan technology and medicine far surpassed Earth's. Willow would wake up again in a couple hours and feel entirely refreshed. Of course, they would likely keep her in the prisoner holding cell until she was on more agreeable terms with their leader.

Willow continued to stare in the other direction focusing on keeping her tears from falling down her face. She had bawled like a baby earlier, which in a case of getting kidnapped by an alien she figure was excusable. But she couldn't afford to cry anymore, maybe when she was safe back at home- if she ever got to go back home- she would have a nice cry fest. It helped that the one who was responsible for her being here had gotten kicked out.

"Thanks for making him leave."Still she couldn't completely relax. Sure Perseus had left but now she was alone in a med lab with a different alien. Taking a deep calming breath she looked up at Aristotle and the pink liquid. She didn't really have a choice but to trust him. She had no choice in any of this.Sure she had been panicking when she had been brought on the ship but even if she had been thinking clearly Willow doubted she could have over powered him. "Not like I have much of a choice, huh?"

Reaching out for the glass she stared down at the beaker. It was going to taste nasty she just knew it.If this was the only thing they were going to make her do then it wasn't going to be bad.Of course what she was about to drink could do just about anything to her. ' here goes nothing' " Bottoms up." With a deep breath and slight hesitation Willow tossed the concoction back. Grimacing lightly as she forced the pills down her throat.

That hadn't been so bad.Once she had let a pill of Lortab sit on her tongue too long by accident. That had tasted worse then the pink liquid. "Now what?"It didn't feel like anything was changing in her body. Not that she knew what it was suppose to feel like. She just felt tired. The events of the night were starting to catch up with her. She had an empty stomach and had worked her muscle raw. Laying back on the bed thing sounded like a good idea, aliens or no.Blinking a few times she looked at the alien doctor. "What was that?" Her muscle were starting to relax and her eyes felt heavy. Willow let her arms fall down to her side as she yawned. She was starting to get really sleepy.

Aristotle said nothing in response, simply observing the sedative take its effect on the human girl. The doctor was intelligent--especially as far as the Andromedans were concerned. He was distantly related to Perseus (which was evident from their shared physical traits), but he'd landed a job on the Prince's vessel based on skill alone. Few had tested higher in their EST exams, and none had nearly as impressive a research record. Why, he'd even managed to customize this solvent and pills for human biology despite having minimal experience with it before today. Considering that Willow was not twitching violently or vomiting, it seemed the doctor had been completely successful.

As Willow's eyes slid shut and her breathing deepened, Aristotle began applying the wires and suction cups to various parts of her body--one on each temple, wrist, and in the center of her chest. He'd need to keep an eye on her vital signs while he applied the chip. Humans were supposedly a delicate species, and he would not take any chances nor become overconfident. Within ten minutes, the procedure had been completed, and he'd removed the wires. Aristotle paced to what appeared to be an intercom set. He pressed a small red button and spoke into the box. "Oedipollophaestios, would you come get the girl?" There would be no need to speak in English once she came to. Since the chip had been correctly installed, Willow would be capable of understanding and conversing fluent Argese.

Ed came to the Medical wing in haste. Prince Perseus stayed up on the bridge of the Medousa, brooding over Willow's general belligerence. "The holding cell?" the bodyguard asked Aristotle in a flat, uninterested tone. The doctor sat in the amorphous chair, hands in his coat pockets. "Yes, but dress it up a bit. Her kind tends to react negatively towards feeling trapped or being treated less than..." He smirked a little. "...Human." Ed all but ignored the pun and scooped the unconscious female up princess-style. "I'll give her some blankets and pillows. A change of clothes. Perhaps a vase of skeltas, to make the room seem more cheerful."

An excellent idea. Aristotle nodded to convey approval. "Perhaps you should open the viewing window, too, so she can have the luxury of watching the stars go by. I hear that humans find the stars to be aesthetically pleasing," he added after a thought. "Monitor her condition and then inform me when she wakes up." The bodyguard kept the doctor's suggestion in mind, saluted with a free arm, and then departed from the room. Aristotle smiled and leaned back in his chair. "Well, this will certainly be an interesting trip back," he mused.
