In a Small, derelict battle-field between a Slaver Ship, and a Alliance Patrol Cruiser, A Single Salvager ship was picking from the wreckage's. On this ship, was a living Legend. Joseph A. Vazquez, Former head of Cerberus Squad, and reknown as the best sniper of the Human Alliance. However, if you looked at him now, those days were long behind him.

He was picking apart bits of tech and scrap brought in from the wreckage's. He noticed Slaver Reports, and Alliance Military Patrol Scheduale's. Good bargaining chips for later, he thought. Downloading the Data on Two separate disc's, he took apart the rest of the wreck, wiping the data banks clean.

Walking back to his room, to get in touch with a Buyer, he looked outside the Starboard Observation deck. Only 23, Joseph still never got tired of seeing the Open-ness of space. Compared to what he had working with the Alliance, This Salvager ship may not seem like much, but Joseph felt content on the ship. He felt he could put the past behind him.

Jessamin was on a transfer pod out to the salvager ship, she had been searching for Joseph A. Vazquez for a bit and once she found out he was she made plans to travel out. Sitting in the pod she was going through her files, the only reason why she needed to find him was because she needed a job. Being a part of the joint government between aliens and humans led her to him, she just didn't know how well her being an alien would go over.

When the pod docked on the salvager ship Jessamin boarded and went to begin her search. She headed to the main deck and just asked for him, she hoped that they would be able to find him faster then he would on her own.

Being informed of a Passenger asking for him in the Cargo Bay, Joseph dropped what he was doing, and wiped the grime from his face, trying to look half-way decent. He then walked out to the Cargo bay, and looked at her. She was an Alien, no doubt, but what kind, he couldn't tell. Humanoid in nature. Posture represented someone in a position of power, so Joseph knew he had to be careful.

He walked up to her, keeping his P-97 Predator Pistol on his side. "Hello there. I'm Captain Joseph A. Vazquez. Your standing aboard my Ship, The ASF Nevarro. State your Species, Name, and Business here. As I'm sure you can understand, We're quite busy. "he said to her, trying to keep civil.

While waiting for Joseph to show up Jessamin looked around the cargo bay, it seemed like everything in the place would be viewed as just junk but could actually be useful. When she saw a man walking towards her she waited for a moment before deciding that it was actually the man she was looking for because there were plenty of people walking around the floor. When he introduced himself though she was slightly glad to have found him but his next question seemed to be very blunt and kind of cold sounding. She mentally sighed being asked her species seemed to have become a norm since the human and aliens had joined. She smiled and said "Krmillian, Jessamin, and I've been advised that your the one to see about a job." She felt better finally saying it out loud and waited to hear what he had to say.

Joseph listioned to her, but stiffened at the sound of a 'Job'. "If you please, I'd rather discuss this in private. "he said. He lead her to his room, The loft, and locked the door. He then sat down, and gestured her to do the same. "Alright, Enough Civility. Who are you, and why are you looking for me? I'm just a Salvager. "he said to her.

Jessamin had followed him and watched as he locked the door behind them. When offered a seat she declined, preferring to stand. When asked again she sighed saying "My name is Jessamin, and like I said I am here about a job and I know from research you are not just a salvager. You may have become one after you switched jobs but you are more than ." She paused then said "I know you may still have a few more questions so I'll fill you in, I am from a sector of the government that 'doesn't exist'. I can't give you full details unless you agree to help. What I can let you know is that we need you out of retirement." He seemed to be serious about this so she decided that it would be best to be a professional about it as possible.

"I know what your after then. You can forget it. I put my guns down 4 years ago. I haven't taken another life since then, unless I've had to. I'm not interested. "he said. He was NOT getting stuck into this again. His squad and him barley made it out alive on their last mission, he wasn't going through that again. His weapons were still in their sealed cases, as they had been for 4 years. He wasn't willing to give up his quiet life, easily.

Jessamin sighed, she had figured that is what he would say so she was prepare for it. She stood up a little straighter and said "I can't leave this ship until you agree to come with me, you are the only one left that they know can help us and that was my leaders final words. So until you decide that you are going to come I will be hanging around the ship." She smiled then made her way over to the door and unlocked it saying "Oh and trust me if I don't get back to my boss soon about the news of my return with you he'll start asking questions and your ship may be requested to head back." She stepped out into the hall and smiled, she had talked it all over with her boss before she left and he had agreed to the plan, he had known that Joseph was the last one they could depend on and wanted him back. She began to slowly walk back to the cargo bay she that she could find a place to bunk, but not to fast as she hoped he would decide to join them before she actually had to stay on the ship.

"Dammit.... I knew I should've gone into hiding along with Archangel, Assassin, Scientist, and Veteran. "he said. Those were the Code-name Designations for his squad. He wouldn't risk the Alliance finding out about them, so he used their Code-names. All of a sudden, however, the ship jerked, as if hit by something. The alarm's then started going off "All Crew members! Report to Docking bay 3! We're under attack from Tarpar Slaver's, and they're attempting to board! "The intercom went off. Crew Members, armed with Second-hand Pistols and Assault rifles, rushed to the docking bay.

Joseph cursed when he heard this, and moved the Portrait on The wall, revealing a Safe. Punching in the Code, he pulled out a Mark II Prototype Sirta Precision Rifle. He then ran out, past Jassemin. When the Tarpar's broke through the Docking bay door, and started to invade the ship, the whole area turned into a blood-bath.

Jessamin was startled when the ship jerked and fell against the wall hitting her head. She heard the announcement and shuttered, this was just great, the one thing that she didn't want to happen was happening. She had heard about these types of ships and what they were searching for and that was the only thing she feared. She watched Joseph run past then wiped her forehead and seeing only a little blood she shrugged it off and reached in her book for her plasma knife and around her back for her pistol. She knew how to fight but she didn't come completely prepared for that on this mission, only the basics were provided. She then ran to the docks to help out, seeing as it was a blood bath already she did what she could to help, she sliced the enemy when they got close enough and shot when she could.

The Tarpar's were getting pushed back. Surprisingly, the Salvagers were acting like as if they were military trained (Possibliy due to their captain being Ex Military). Pushing them back, Joseph ran inside the Ship, shooting through the place. He then got into the Cargo Hold, where there was easily 100 people in there, and t his was just One Cargo hold. Enraged, Joseph got on the Comm with the rest of his Crew "All Personal! You are to hold position on the Board Entrance. Any signs of Enemy push, you have order's to 'Shoot-to-kill'. "He said to them. He then ran towards the Ship's Command & Control Deck.

Jessamin had stayed in the bay and kept guard, when the comm came on she listened and then saw that he was moving out. She was not going to just sit there and wait, so she followed him knife and gun still in hand in case they were needed. Once she caught up to him she said "What you're just going to wait to see if they attack again? Is that what you used to do? I mean wouldn't it just be easier to go in there and fight them off, your men seem to be able to handle it even if they are just salvage workers."

"Foolish girl. My men are mostly Ex Military. Those that couldn't find work, I took with me. They're all trained to fight. "He said to her. "Also, You 'never' rush an enemy, that's what they expect you to do. "he said, and crept down. He snuck up to a guard, and stabbed a Single, Sharp Piece of thin metal through his spine, killing him. "I never use a knife. Too messy, and cumbersome. I use this, to Pierce through. "He said.

He then saw two Guard's. Impossible to sneak behind. "Never take the Obvious route, Always look for an Alternative. "he said. He put a Silencer on his Pistol, and tossed a Coin at a Nearby wall. The loud bang got their attention, long enough for him to sneak behind them, and shoot them both. "Nickname on Missions was 'Jack'. Mean's I'm capable of doing many thing's. "he said, hacking the Door's control.

"Assassin, and Veteran, They were our heavy Hitters. Me, I prefer the Grunt work. "He said to her. "Important stuff, and keeps me out of the line of fire. "he said. "Scientist was our Tech Expert. She developed most of our Weaponry. Don't know where they are now, We went our separate way's after we Broke off from the Alliance. "he said.

Jessamin walked silently along with him and stood slightly out of the way. Hearing him talk made her slightly mad as she was not foolish, it was tactics she was taught for when they had the upper hand. Hearing him remark about knives she glared at him, she only used the knife as it was the only thing her father had ever given her that she found useful.

She watched as he flipped the coin to get their attention before shooting both guards, Jessamin had already known his nickname that's to her files as well as all his capabilities. When he was talking about his others from the group she smiled slightly, she had figured they were all still alive, and he seemed to think they were too. The heads of her department thought them all dead besides Joseph.

Jessamin looked around before asking "So, what was your plan then because you seemed to have gone in alone which wasn't really a smart idea."

"I plan to blow this ship to bits. "he said to her. He then walked into the Boiler room. " Once I get the charge planted, I'll head back, and activate a fake Alliance ship IFF. They'll panic, and attempt to flee. When they get far enough away - boom. "he said. "Two people enough. More would attract UN-needed attention. Can't be compromised. Would bring a small-scale war on the ship. "He said to her.

He then ran back, escorting the Civi's out of the ship. He then triggered the Beacon, which (obviously) made them break off, and start to flee. Grinning, Joseph pulled out a trigger, and pressed it. The Ship blew up, Bit by bit. It was surprising how one mechanical flaw, could cause a whole ship to fall apart.

Jessamin had followed him around and then watched as he blew up the ship. She put her knife and gun back where they belonged and then turned to him saying "Well it seems like you have a good handle on your ship, and looks like you have plenty to do." She smiled then said "You're a salvager and now there is another wreck to explore." She was glad that the other ship was destroyed, but she had a job to complete. So back on task she was going to irritate him slightly, if he tried to send her back, it just meant that his ship would be ordered back anyways. So what could her pointing out the small things possibly do. She smirked a little saying "Doesn't really seem the same though, not compared to what you used to do. But oh well right?" Then began to walk away, she figured she might be there for awhile so some exploring would be in order to know where things were.

"If I'm going to do this, I have some conditions I want laid out. "he said. He then turned to her. "Surprised? From what I saw from your tactic's, The Alliance is in bad shape. The fact that they're looking for me doesn't make it better. "he said. "My Conditions are followed : I want to keep my crew, I want a SR-7 Stealth Cruiser, and I want your Department to devote resources to locating my team. I'm just one man, I need my whole team if I'm going to be able to do whatever it is you want. "he said.

Jessamin turned back to him when he said that he was actually going to help, she was slightly suprised that he had agreed so soon but it was better now than later. Although his comment about how her team was a disaster was slightly uncalled for. She sighed saying "Papers have already been written up, your crew was your choosing as well as the ship. So if those are your choices that's fine. As for the rest of your team however most of my department has deemed them as deceased. There are a few that still believe their out there, but in order to do as you ask you'll have to convince the rest of the team that their still alive."

"I have lead's on their last known location. "He said to her. "Trust me. You'd need 3 armies to actually kill me. "He said, loading the rifle. His Crew was taking what salvage was left on the ship, and were placing it on bin's, to sell on the Planet Feos, 4th planet in the Orpheus System. "You follow me, you follow my rules. Also, I need to have the Ship custom made : Advance FTL Drive, State of the Art life-support systems, Hades Gamma Forward Battery's, and a Koralle Made Shielding system. "He said, picking them off on his finger's. Half of the items were not terribly expensive, but it seemed that he was planning something. "Oh, and I need a AI. Not a regular one, a 'smart' AI. "He said. AI research was somewhat of a taboo, as many believed that they would over-throw humanity. However, given his position, Joseph was in the spot to demand whatever was necessary.

Jessamin paused for a moment before saying "Follow you? I was sent to just request for you to return, after this I was to go back to finding others to help. While here I am to make sure that you agree to come back and take down what you want and require to come back, so please excuse me when I say that I wont be following your rules after this." She took a breath then continued by saying "But I'm sure that the builders can accommodate for all of that you require and will have it all ready for you, but why do you need an AI? Most people request that they do not receive one and since I have taken in many requests before I have to ask."

"Standard Case scenario, They'll leave you with me to protect their 'investment'. "he said to her. He then shook his head at the fact that most requested no A.I.'s. "People are Idiots. I only want to use the A.I. to power the Offensive Weaponry. A.I. will put their survival first. Since they'll be attached to the ship, they'll do what they have to, too protect it. "He explained, cracking his neck. "Smart A.I. are able to adapt as well. It will also allow us to focus on maneuvering, and other tasks, instead of firing the Weapons Remotely ,or manually. "He said. It was odd how he was so used to operating procedure, and still spoke with disdain towards the alliance. What could have possibly happen to him?

Jessamin looked at him, would they actually leave her with him to 'protect' him. She shrugged then said "Alright, I'll put your request in then. But I don't really think that you need any protecting at all, you seem to be able to handle yourself." She then smiled then asked "Which way to the communication room? If you want your ship ready it would be best to let them know in advance so they can get started."

"Good. I plan to make use of this Salvager ship before we get our Crusior. "he said to her. " I'll plot course for Illium, so we can Find Archangel and Trade in this scrape metal. "he said to her. Before he left, he handed her a Data-pad, which gave her a full scope of the ship. Surprisingly, The ship was powered by a 'Minor' A.I. It's Data core was just below the Comm room.

Jessamin took the data pad from him and smiled saying "Alright then." After that she looked at the data pad to find the quickest way to the comm room then started on her way. Upon reaching it she gathered the note she had made then contacted headquarters, she told them of all Joseph's requests and said that he had known recent locations to his other team members. They agreed to it all glad that he had agreed so quickly and then said they would get everything in order for them. She signed off then decided to walk around the ship a little to get a feel for it.

A Message would appear on Jessamin's private Communicator.

"Dear Jessamin.

Your Progress with the Subject has been.....astounding. We did not expect him to cooperate so easily, so you must've impressed him somehow. The Fact that the rest of his team alive is a major bonus as well. The ship is under-way, but It should be done by the time you have the team assembled. There are a few ground rules, however : 1. Don't mention the Wasteland world of Elysium. It's a sore topic with him. 2. Don't let your Guard down, He's extreamley crafty. 3. Keep everything on a 'Need-to-know" bases.
