I've been avoiding posting the exact city I'm moving to for...I dunno, security worries or something like that, but I'll be in the North Eastern part of Oklahoma. We'll be moving there in June or July since my boyfriend accepted a job there. I work remotely so things are pretty easy there. But yeah, lots of stuff going on this year, it's definitely been hard to find down time these days.

oh cool, i hope everything goes well! congrats to him on getting the job, i hope you find other things to love about the area too once you're there.

Thank you! I hope we'll like it. Florida has grown on me so I'm a little sad about leaving to be honest but I guess we can always come back in the future if we change our minds.

I saw it on Instagram and sent it to my boyfriend and he was all like OMFG where IS this and then saw it was Disney but not open yet. I'd love to go when it opens but I know the lines would be insane.

i can't even imagine, based off of how insane the Guardians of the Galaxy virtual queue was when we visited and that ride had already been out for a year. i'm not going to get my hopes up, but it is cool to know it will at least be there when we're there, so maybe we could see the outside at least.

How long was that line? I've only been to Epcot here and I think we did the Chevy ride in like 40ish minutes and the Soarin Around The World one in about an hour. I can't imagine doing much more than an hour in line for a ride.

i wish i remembered better! my partner was really the one keeping track of ride times. we had lightning lanes and DAS and genie+ for everything, so most lines were 15-30 minutes. i think GOG was like 30-45 because we had the virtual queue, so they have you show up just before your ride time, and the lightning lane meant we skipped most of the line.

Wow, nice! That sounds lie a pretty good deal. How much does it cost to do those like lightning/genie pass type things?

usually $15-22 per ride, so like $300 for the whole day since we were able to get on about 17 rides.

That's good to know! I'll have to keep that in mind the next time we head to a park.

i've been good! we've been working on doing a mini remodel of our kitchen so it's all Disney themed, but with a classy vibe. and next month we're going on a trip to New Mexico :D how about you?

Wow, that sounds really cool! Ooh, I've never been to New Mexico. Do you have any specific activities planned? I'm alright, pretty worn out from traveling and being sick but otherwise good.

mostly just hanging around and enjoying nature! but we're also planning on exploring the ancient pueblo cliff dwellings, and going to the city for a couple days and visiting a bunch of art museums including Meow Wolf, which i am so excited for :D

That sounds really nice!!! I'm heading to Phoenix for work in a week and a half but I don't think I'll really have time to see any of it outside of the convention center sadly.

hey! wow it has been a while i'm pretty good, just recovering from my NM trip and i've been taking a leaf out of your book and i've been trying to read more books lately. i got a solid 2 chapters in on Dorian Grey, which i've been trying to finish since high school how about you? are you so excited for your move??

Ooh, nice! I actually have the French version of Dorian Grey which I definitely mean to read but I just packed it away in a box today. I'm not really excited for the move. More stressed than anything really. There's so much to do and the timeline is going to be pretty tight. I've got to be in DC for work the week before we are moving so I'll be getting back Sunday night and then Thursday morning will be the first day of our 3 day drive to our new home. So while we're moving at the end of the month, I'll need to be mostly before the 20th which is going to be here before we know it. @_@
