Humans often wander to the castle and lake because of it's given name, "The Lake of Legends and the Castle of Gods" which the vampires made up the myth of the lake giving immortality to humans who drink from it and a "golden castle" where the newly created "gods and goddesses" live, when in fact it's just a regular lake and a regular castle and vampires waiting for ignorant humans to come along searching for this said lake of immortality, when actually the vampires make them into meals, slaves or servants.
