I got meds for my anxiety. They help but boy do they make me sleepy.

I had a funeral this morning

One dog. Free to any home.
We got home and she was out of her crate and made a huge mess. Chewed up a bunch of stuff including a packing tape dispenser, luckily we found the razor. Got into the trash. Destroyed the cedar shoe stretchers for my husband's dress shoes. Killed a few of the cat's toys. Best I can say is she didn't chew any electrical wires or eat buttons off any pants.

I left my cat alone for most of the weekend and he had knocked his water container over and knocked books, plushes, and figures (in boxes) out of some wall shelves.. Most damage was the poked and bent books. XP (My poor imported doujin tho. ; o;)

I hated having a dog for the mess they'd make when unattended. > u>;; I don't think I'll ever have a dog again..

My current cat sure has been the most destructive one I've had though.

I was just diagnosed as ADHD combined type last fall, yay diagnosis!

@ Kirin: Hopefully the fatigue should fade as your body gets used to the meds but if it doesn't then that may not be the right med for you. I've been through a gazillion meds at this point trying to find the right ones for anxiety/depression and now also ADHD. I've got the anxiety/depression med down after about a year of trying different things but the ADHD one isn't pinned down yet, though I am running out of options...

I was diagnosed in the fourth grade. Well it did get easier after the first one. Though I don't take them all the time so that's good. I used to take Ritalin for my A.D.H.D. tried Adderall but that shit gave me heartburn. And it could be you have to find the right dosage of the meds.

The problem is that I can't tolerate many of the medications. My system is very sensitive to any medication. A lot of the ADHD meds make it so that I can't sleep. I did okay on Ritalin on a very low dose, it kept me awake during the day but I could still sleep at night, but it didn't really help me focus so it was only a partial success.

I don't take medicine for it anymore.

I'm trying Intuniv now but I accidentally took it the wrong way and had a reaction to it so I've had to back off before I start it again in a few days.

Hopefully it will work out for you.

So far I'm mostly having trouble sleeping. -_-

That's the worst, any kind of sleep problems. You just feel icky the next day

I have been working almost a year there. I get bit almost once a week. I started getting serious burn out in December and only been sleeping into a depressive episode since. Either child care is not my thing or the classes we have are full of hellions and I've been teaching in a circle of hell.

Either is a possibility.

I dunno, I was in school system when I was doing my field placement for childhood education and I don't recall them being quite that bad. Either way, I'm glad you are getting out. You should not have to deal with that.

I'll be working at a resort campground starting in ground keeping and landscaping. But my interview was mostly my new boss telling me about all the other opportunities they want me to work including management and PR team. So there's lots of growth potential. It's a brand new resort and it's big news for the town.
