You don't have to twist my arm to get lost in my youtube playlists! XD Despite Spotify, Deezer, Amazon Music and other streaming outlets, Youtube is like one of my favorite places to find and store music. Anyways... On to the music... I sorted though my music over the last 2 hours XD and made two... Some songs are more just fillers that make me feel pro or anti. Others are specifically there for a very good reason.
Perfectly fine if none of it is anyone's jam. But I like sharing the eclectic music I enjoy so here ya go.
Mene Pro V-Day 23
Silversun pickups - Lazy Eye
Disclosure - You & Me (Flume Remix)
Angus and Julia Stone - Big Jet Plane.
Those are the main feels of the playlist for me. I wouldn't say they are all love songs per say, certainly many of them would be removed from romantic playlists XD
I did my best to balance them but the Anti list ended up with more regardless
Mene Anti V-Day 23
Vertical Horizon - All of You
Dresden Dolls - Necessary Evil
Ulrich Schnauss - Stars
Yellow Claw - Good Day ft. DJ Snake & Elliphant
Those are the stars of this playlist!
I could add more but.. much as I'd like to think I could control myself, I'd probably get stuck on this all night if I wasn't careful

I was never a huge U2 fan but With or Without you was definitely a favorite from them!
Oh wow I haven't listened to Dresden Dolls in so long!
"Missed Me" I think is my fav of theirs.
I'm not a huge fan or U2 either. I was just thinking what songs would suit the thread. Next person I really like though. Annie Lennox "Love song for a Vampire"
For Vday cuz vampires...
Anti Vday ... A breakup song for depressed people that don't want their shit to ruin the person they're with. Sometimes humans are sad "for no reason" other than shity chemicals in their brain. And they push others away but it doesn't help. Nothing does. This song really gets to me because it reminds me of where I am.
@nephila - Ah well I think that U2 song choice was a good one! Annie Lennox is definitely a treasure. I haven't heard a lot of her music but she's got such an amazing voice, not to mention her hits. ANNND into the west XD. Love song for a Vampire is beautiful though.
As for Elita, I am not familar with their work. Discordant in a. uh... Melodically augmented sort of way? Minor keys and augments I mean. Which I rather enjoy :P There's something there too that resonates with me and my experiences.
Cora - oh gosh Faith Hill. I haven't heard her in years! My brother used to have a huge crush on her XD I tend to lean more electronica myself but I still think she has a classic country sound. And also, I was a huge Garth Brooks fan as a kid :P This one is a solid heart string puller :|

Speaking of Garth... This one is a classic break song for the anti category! I first heard this song around 4 or 5 but this extended version came out when I was 13 or 14 and it was awesome XD
I love the Garth era of country music. Reba, Garth, Alan Jackson, Tim McGraw, George Straight all of them are great. Country took a bad left turn some time after that.
My main way to consume music nowadays is downloading stuff to my phone after buying it off amazon or bandcamp... I also use a 3rd party app to listen to music off youtube without ads. :P I'm one of the 5 people who used Google Play Music, but it was great!
Here's my contribution to the Anti-V-Day playlist: an absolute banger:
Aly & AJ actually released this updated version of "Potential Breakup Song" at the request of fans, and it's honestly so good!
I don't know if the links I have will work because I'm on mobile, but I'd like to submit the following songs to the Anti V-Day list:
Villain by MJ Apanay https://youtu.be/TKjoXxvwnIE
Super pretty! Rammstein is always a fun bet for emo-ness.
I haven't particularly made new playlists - I just have this one that is a bit of both pro- and anti-Vday or love in general. I sort of like bittersweetness in general, and especially in regards to romance.
Reba McEntire is SO GOOD for these kinds of songs. I love her duet with Brooks & Dunn; "If you see him, if you see her"? It's sooooo good. The pining! The realism!

I love her, shes my favorite music artist of all times. And ironically enough, I almost chose that song too. Or Somebody and Someone's Chelsey also were tempting.
Dido had some really great yearning love songs in the 00s, which I still love, but lately I've been obsessed with this "I'm doing fine without you" song from more recently:
Edit: drat, the youtube embed didn't work, here's a link instead: Dido - Give You Up
Oh man, Dido... I didn't listen to her much, my sisters and brother did more, so I heard white flag a lot but I still think her music is really good. Give You Up is really good too.
