TCHHH WELL. I LIKE TO SAVE MONEY.

I finally got my copy of Sleeping Dogs working on Steam. Hehe. <3

I hate Steam. I have over 100 games just sitting there, waiting to be played, because they keep going on sale and I keep buying them and there is no way I can finish all of these games in one life time but then I keep buying more and it's a horrible addiction.

Anyway. As long as it's not sending me notifications every five minutes like this one group I joined, I'd join.

How'd you get it working?

Oh god that sounds like an endless cycle. I hear you. It's the reason why I stopped putting money onto Steam. I kept buying keys to unbox all my crates on TF2. Then I'd see sales, and i'll be like *drool 1000000 indie games* and buy them. Now, because there's no money on my account, I have to actually find my card, load my account and then buy the game. It gives me more thinking time - DO I REALLY NEED ANOTHER GAME??

@ Greed: I checked on the forums and someone posted about how the latest AMD drivers finally did full support for the game, so I installed it. It was originally really incompatible with a lot of systems.. the Steam forums had lots of threads with people who couldn't get past the first loading screen. I love steam for another reason.. reading the forums makes me lol.

It can be a love hate relationship with steam. On one hand I like to support developers and buy games when they are released.. but I find myself actually anticipating a steam sale for certain games. It's a better alternative than pirating, so that's good.

ugh sometimes I feel the urge to buy something I already own for XBOX.

Yeh, games are the one thing I don't pirate. ;p

Thank god I don't have an xbox. That'd make things so much harder. ;C

Yeah.. sometimes it's a pain to decide what system I buy games for.. but I lean towards PC cause it's almost always cheaper, with steam sales and whatnot.
We also have the luxury of modding games which they can't really do on consoles.

I've recently started using Steam, I mostly download the free games cause I'm cheap. :3 ..and because I lack a debit card at the moment.

Haha. I only just got a debit card but before then our uni card had a visa option for some reason... Soooo....

For free games I like to use gog.com
so much good old stuff. *_*

I went from using debit to credit exclusively.. I get a whopping 1% cash back. OOOOH~!!~

I use a debit right now, because the bank gives me a free account with unlimited transfers etc. :3 YAY.

Steam is pretty sweet.
During the last Steam sale I picked up Fallout New Vegas because I never got around to playing it when it first came out.
I also play a lot of Dota 2.

Older games on Steam is awesome

I never played Fallout 1 or 2, but I absolutely loved 3. It's definitely one of my most favourite games.

I got 1, 2 and Tactics during a steam sale.. you gotta pick em up when they are on sale. It's too good a deal to pass up.

I can't actually complain about my wallet with you guys...i've only bought two steam indie games, one humble bundle, and the DLC for the mechromancer in Borderlands 2. I was gifted everything else

oh, but if anybody wants Dota 2, like honestly I will give you an invite. I've lost track of how many posts I've made on my personal facebook about giving away keys/invites, haha
