Wendy's can be anywhere here. We have one down from home, near McDonald's, Arby's, and a gas station.

Wendy is quite rare here... I only know about its existence like... just 2 months ago? O__O

We have fast food places everywhere, often close together.

We have fast food too... but... hmm... not always together, unless it is shopping mall.

I hardly ever get food at the shopping mall, but it's certainly there.

Nope, not famous here.
Our fast food giant here is either McDonald or KFC.
Subway is slowly encroaching.

McDonald's is king here, and then everything else is, like, even? XD

I hate McDonald's. I use to eat there all the time and I knew it was bad. When I looked at the nutrition menus for restaurants and I saw the sodium levels for McDonald's food, and the fact that their salads have more sodium than a cheeseburger there, I said nope.

We have a fair few McDonalds around here. Some Burger Kings too, though not nearly as many, and fairly few KFCs and such.

Still, most of our fast-food places still are independents or Netherlands-only chains.

Sile that's awesome. I wish there were more independent places around me.

In some ways it's awesome, in other ways not so much. (HUGE price-differences and quality-differences between various places)

Yeah but I like independent places and always prefer buying from them. Though we do have a little independently owned coffee shop and art gallery in my town. Which just made me chuckle cause the couple who own them also own our local paper The Independent.

Not necessarily true, Amane. It all depends on moderation as well--nothing is healthy to overdo and plenty of "unhealthy" things are only unhealthy when not done in moderation. XD

That's right. I honestly don't know how such awful foods can be made from fruits and vegetables. Pure fruits and vegetables taste great.

I like some things made from fruits and veggies.

There are a lot of weird fruits and vegetables out there I wouldn't touch.

I love trying new fruits and veggies.
