Yeah, I guess that's why I see some people selling only one set per user. It's a shame that people take advantage of others like that. :(

I agree. If it would help, truly actually help, I might consider buying the CIs again. But if the $100s I was dropping on this site every month didn't do any good 3 years ago, then I doubt the very measly amount I could do now would help. I like the items, I just want Menewsha to be a place where I enjoy talking to friends such as yourself instead of focusing on having the best avatar.

I'm guessing every little bit helps since if there's too little donations I dunno if Inso will think the place is worth it anymore. But then again I don't donate myself so I don't have a leg to stand on in that perspective. ;;

I like Mene for the people first and the items second; chatting with people here is enjoyable and I really miss all the people who used to hang around here.

Completely agree... I wonder if they would take some of the older, original CIs that haven't been around the longest and let us buy those again.

That would be amazing, I know a lot of people really want a chance to get some of the older items since they're so rare. (or at least, I think they're pretty rare)

Maybe not the exact same items but a recolor instead though? Since many have worked hard to acquire what they have and just releasing them again seems to be kind of a kick in the face in regards to their efforts. o_o

I know I'd love a recolor of many of the items, like a silver version of the Menewshan King/Queen's Crowns or multi-colored versions of the Winter's Flight, etc. I think that would be a nice way to slowly get people to come back and start contributing again. :)

Recoloring is definitely a good idea. I'm fond of the blues/silver mixes and a lot of the items that I like do not have that coloration. So it would be nice to have them offered. And it is true, it would be a shame to offer easily what others worked so hard for.

I'm fond of black, silver, and gold so those are the colorations I'm most hoping for if they ever release recolors. Blue would also be nice, like the icy-blue you have on right now.

Teal would be cool to have too! Mene can do a rainbow inspired recolor where we get multiple sets of the same item in different colors. ALL THE RECOLORS

It's been mentioned quite a few times over the years, so I'm guessing Inso would have seen it at least once or twice. The current two newest posts in the State of Menewsha thread in the Announcements forum is talking about it as well.

Oh okay, so nothing new to add then lol. Well it is something for them to consider. I would be willing to try my hand at pickle art again and make items... but the last time I tried, I went for one of those ruffle dresses that are cut to show the layers underneath and at that time, they wanted the dress folds to not do that... so declined my art. I just chalked it up to not enough experience.

I think the only thing I've ever pixelled was this hat I used as my deviantArt icon. It was super rough though, nothing like the smoothness of Mene's items. Drawing the items pixel by pixel is exhausting, I have no idea how people do it without burning their eyes out from staring at the monitor for hours on end.

lol I think you get into this zone when you are doing it. At least that is what happened to me. Reminds me of Impressionist paintings... up close they are senseless blobs...far away they are art.

I remember zooming in and out constantly while doing that little hat. My eyes were screaming by the time I finished it.

Yeah, I haven't done any pixel art after that. Which is why I'm so impressed with the people who are able to do pixel art for a living or at least devote tons of time doing it.

Is there other art you have tried that was less strenuous to you? Any paints or other mediums?

I occasionally doodle with a pen or pencil, and there was a time when I used a tablet to do digital drawing on Photoshop. I haven't seen my tablet in several years though...no idea where it went.

I usually lose charging cables

All those cables can get a little annoying. I keep my phone's charging cable alone by itself so I won't have to untangle it from anything before I can use it.

I either miss place it or don't bring it or something I'm usually running on a low battery
