I never knew that. Its kind of hard for me to understand
being that my mother is Jewish and my father is Catholic so
we celebrate like everything xD

Haha, awesome! XD My mom was raised Catholic, and I think my dad was. o 3o But we're not religious. It's pretty neat. XD 'Cause we get to celebrate things like the Winter Solstice, which is our winter holiday.

and yeah we arent religious either.
cept the fact that when i was younger my mother tried putting me in a hebrew
school and it wasnt really "my thing" so i left..
but we celebrate alot of things too.

Winter Solstice is the first day of winter. :3 It has the longest night and the shortest day. We also leave a lit candle out all night, because in the olden days people would leave a lit candle out and stay up all night to make sure that the sun rose the next morning. :D And don't worry about not knowing what it is- a lot of people don't know what the Winter Solstice is. XP

so the candle will be able to tell you if the sun rose the next morning? hows that..

The candle won't say if the sun rises. :3 The candle's so that there will still be light if the sun doesn't rise. Or, something to that effect. XD;
