out pops a kid and then a few more
now she is the lady who live in such a bore.
I'm so glad that lady lives in a boot
because mommy and daddy don't have the roots
of money to support her actions.

There was a young farmer of Leeds,
Who swallowed six packets of seeds,

but I think in this, i'll partake
excuse me everyone
for this seems quite fun
by the way, I like to eat cake

ohs-me-noes, did i kill the thread?
for now, it seems quite quite dead
or perhaps its too early
it makes me feel surly
i guess it is time for my bed.

but I think I will write just on more
for poems and rhymes, I adore
it takes away sorrow
i'll be back tomorrow

I used to get the best grades in school when we had poetry semesters.

I remember we had a Poetry day in our school library. I volenteered to read a load of limericks out of a book. I've forgotten most of them now thoug DX It was a lot of fun though!

Also, I noticed that today is the last day of the event! I really like ALL of the limericks that have been posted... so you may ALL have the certificate! *points to link in first post* I'm so indecisive! Then again I might not be...
