STOP 0.

WherededIGo quietly walked the long halls of the train station, trying to find her own. She wore knee-high buckled boots, which were met by rather baggy, boyish shorts. A black, frilly button up shirt with long sleeves followed, and a plain black mantle fitted her shoulders. IN her left hand, she held a black and blue jack-o-lantern styled bag, and a balloon she bought on the way in. Her other hand desperately clutched to a ticket a friend had given her as a present. It was white with a red and blue bolder, and a shimmering star was imprinted onto the middle. WherededIGo got the train stop within her sights, and breathed a sigh of relief. From a quick glance from a passers-by's golden watch, she knew she had 20 minutes before the train arrived. Content in the fact she would make it, she allowed herself to take a look around, to fully gage the beauty of the Menewsha Train Station. The outside walls were old fashioned, with plain, even, red bricking. In even spaces, giant windows with curling gold frames interrupted the brick work, even so the bricks were cut to perfectly fit the small spaces that were left. The doors were always in pairs, the main part being a mild gold, and the latches and door knobs being a rusty red. Also decorating the doors, were silverish-red spiralling leaf patterns, which looked like there were made out of a light metal. Just to decorate doors, the greatest amount of detail had been put in.
WherededIGo noticed that outside the windows, was a small ledge with flowers of a wide range of colours sitting in them. She guessed they were designed for colourful birds and butterflies to frolic in. A stray tissue left behind by some careless person, tainted the smooth, green tiled floor and WherededIGo felt inclined to pick it up, to make sure the grand train station retained it's elegant and refined look. As she was doing so, another train came and let out the people who had been travelling inside, and in a rush to get to their loved dear ones, the almost trampled WherededIGo. Forced by the sudden onslaught of people, she edged further and further away from her destination. She waited for the people to thin, before even daring to make a move. Once she was out of the rush, she took a moment to find her thoughts, and realise where she was. She looked up at the green roof for inspiration, but instead a gold candle chandelier above her head cast a shadow over her. She hugged her shoulders, as the realisation of the fact she was lost sunk in. She felt tears prick at her eyes, but refused to let them through. She blinked a few times to get rid of the pushing tears, and started to walk in the direction she thought she came from. She walked a fair bit, but still hadn't come across anything familiar. Or rather, everything was familiar, because the train station was constant all the way. Even the brick pillars supporting the roof remained in a constant pattern. After walking for a few more minutes in vain, WherededIGo came across a man in a pale blue uniform with emerald green eyes. Thinking he must be a worker there, WherededIGo approached him to see if he could fill her in. At first he seemed a little startled, but afterwards he told her where to go with great confidence. WherededIGo thanked him greatly, and followed his directions whilst they were still fresh in her mind. Sure enough she found herself at her pre-destined destination. Just as she sat down on a open seat, a whistle blew, and a cheer erupted from all around the train station. Curious, WherededIGo peered around a ticket booth, to see a majestic blue train coming towards her. It had the shiny look of a new train, and on the front it had a large gold star, matching to the one on WherededIGo's ticket. It screeched to a halt in front of the mass of people, and WherededIGo was able to see it more clearly. The main colour scheme was a cloudy white, but it had blue and red stripes along the top and bottom. She couldn't see the very top of the train because of the smoke erupting from it's chimney., but she could tell it was quite grand. The driver's window was open, and the train driver was waving at everyone. He looked quite familiar, but WherededIGo couldn't put her finger on it. After some announcements, the train door opened, and everyone poured aboard. WherededIGo stepped inside the train, with wondrous feelings enveloping her.

----------

The train was incredibly comfortable. WherededIGo had fallen asleep for the short ride to the next stop. She'd had woken when the loud train hostesses and travelled through the train, ringing their bells and pretty much barking that we'd reached the first stop. WherededIGo rubbed her eyes, still a little sleep and pretty much rolled off the chair she'd fallen asleep in. She picked herself up from the floor groaning, wishing she had gone to her bunk instead of talking to the old lady who was knitting a jumper for one of her tiny grandsons. But she didn't think she'd fall asleep. The train came to a halt in front of a field of poinsettia , and when you looked out the other window, the small station for Garland was standing there. WherededIGo stood up straight, dusting herself off, only to be knocked over by a bunch of giggling girls running... away? with something. WherededIGo was about to get up again when she saw even more people coming, all laughing as well, so instead of standing up, she crawled and sat in a corner, waiting for the people to pass. Some of the conversations were so loud WherededIGo couldn't help but listen in. Were they talking about cookies? WherededIGo jumped when a hand appeared out of no-where in front of her. Her heart beat quite quickly, with this new exhilaration. She looked up to see who the hand belonged to. The man smiling in front of her looked quite... Handsome? He wore a white hat, a fancy gold and black jacket, simple black trousers and a red scarf. Which reminded WherededIGo she'd have to buy a scarf. She'd forgotten that it could get quite chilly around this time in Menewsha. She was brought back into the world when she heard the man speak in a deep voice.
"Would you like some help up?"
WherededIGo blushed a little and accepted the man's hand, which resulted in her getting pulled gently to her feet. She dusted off her clothes again, and noticed that the man had a pony tail as he left the train carriage. WherededIGo followed shortly after, ruffling her own short, spiky blue hair.

Many of the people broke off into groups to explore the coastal town, some observed a few neatly dressed guys rolling dice , obviously participating in a betting game. WherededIGo wandered away from the bulk of the tourists, trying to get to the poinsettia field, but with a whole lot of luck, ended up at some old chapel. Despite desperately wanting to go to the field, WherededIGo felt herself drawn to the chapel. She looked around and noticed the man who had helped her up before standing in front of two graves. She walked over to him intrigued. We looked at the graves in silence for a little while. But then the man told me the story of the graves. Once again she felt tears prick my eyes. It was sad really. The bride was so close to marrying her awaited groom. At that moment, a feirce wind blew through the trees, blowing of WherededIGo's mantle.
"AH!" WherededIGo gasped and grabbed at it. But was beaten by the man. "Thanks!!" She grabbed to get her mantle back, but the man was caught off guard, and they both ripped it. "Oh" was all WherededIGo could say.
"Oh my! I am so sorry!" The man pulled at his scarf frantically and handed it to her. "I'm so sorry! Here, you can have my scarf instead! Also, I'll get one of my friends to fix that." he collected the ripped mantle, and WherededIGo tied the scarf around her own neck. It had a nice musty smell.
"Oh um, before I forget, what's your name?" WherededIGo softly asked the gentleman. He responded with a throaty laugh.
"Many call me Mr. Mayor. If you want to know my real name, you have to guess it!" He winked and passed her a piece of paper. A closer look served that it was a pass into one of the first class lounges. She widened her eyes and looked at Mr. Mayor. "My hang out!" He winked again. "The clue to my name, is that it means 'light'." With that, he left with WherededIgo's mantle. He took a few steps before turning back. "Feel free to come and hang out some time! Maybe you can guess even guess my name!" he turned back around and walked off, and WherededIGo watched him. She started to walk back, scanning through the different languages she'd learnt. Despite the old look, the scarf was quite comfy to her amazement. WherededIGo had almost reached the poinsettia field when it occurred to her. "Oh! I think his name is Lucien!"

STOP 2 :

WherededIGo sat in a more quite corner of Mr. Mayor's lounge area, talking to a few other people. But when more people came, and conversation got incredibly fast and silly, she just sat back and listened until she could interject something. The changing scenery outside was really something. Because it was on a mountain, it was slowly getting covered with more and more snow. WherededIGo hadn't really seen snow this close before, so she was quite intrigued. She may have been imagining it, but she thought she saw a mound of snow walking. But she couldn't spot the movement at a second glance so she decided she had been imagining. The almost 2 hour trip went to so quickly, she hadn't been able present her guess to Mr. Mayor, but she figured she would have plenty of time to do so, so she didn't worry about it. When they reached Reinsend, she waited for the mass of people to exit the lounge first, before following shortly after. As she was stepping out of the train, she noticed that the man driving the train was on a break as well. She was going to walk over, but, he seemed to have spot something, and jumped up and ran straight back into the train. WherededIGo was puzzled, but then she saw a whole bunch of reindeer, racing rather then trotting down the narrow pathway. And on the lead reindeer was some joker dressed as Santa. WherededIGo leapt out of the way, just missing the stampede. She breather a sigh of relief but didn't get up. Instead she made a snow volcano and laughed giddily. It was her first time in the snow and she was enjoying. When her work came out lopp-sided, she left it, and went to explore the little forest town. She helped someone take a photo of them and a squirrel, which was adorable. And then helped an old lady finish her baking. She was then dragged by some children to craft centre, in which she made a holiday card with pencils and glue .

Tired out by travelling all over the village, WherededIGo went back to the train to sit down. She sat just outside the train, so the cool wind could reach her. She shivered a little and out of habit went to pull her mantle around herself more, but found she only had the scarf. Sighing she wrapped the scarf around her as much as she could, rubbing her face into it. She curled up into a sitting ball, and watched the sleighs passing, getting ready for the big festival that was supposed to be on that night. She shivered again, and considered go fully into the train, but she felt a light tap on her shoulder. She looked up to see a man with blonde hair in a ponytail smiling at her. He held a lump of black material and he gestured it towards her.
"Um. My friend Mr. Mayor said that you might be needing this?" He smiled warily, as she grabbed it of him, accidentally smelling a scent of flowers coming from him. Unfolded it was her mantle. Feeling elated, she quickly swapped the scarf for the mantle and felt the warmth again. She let out a happy sigh and turned to the man.
"T-Thank you!" WherededIGo mumbled out. She reached up and gave the man the scarf. "Could please return this to him?" She asked. The man nodded with a smile and walked back into the corridors of the train. WherededIGo felt better now that she had her mantle back in one piece, and stood up ready to join the festivities that were going on.

The Sleigh Parade was wonderful. Families, friends and businesses, each had a sleigh, that was decorated with an unneeded amount of ribbons and flowers, on even had a rake . The people riding the sleighs were throwing things, were it be lollies, advertisements. Anything and Everything. Then once that finished, the bonfires started. Bands started playing songs, waiters came out with food, and a pub was letting people drink for free. WherededIGo noticed that Mr. Mayor went there a fair bit, and was worried what he'd feel like in the morning. As the night wore on, it got louder, and people brought out games, in which many won prizes, and WherededIGo realised that the man who gave her, her mantle back, was the one running around handing out all the prizes. When it was almost 2 in the morning, WherededIGo decided it was time to go back to her room on the train. She said good bye to the group she was chatting with and wondered off back to the train. On her way back, she bumped into the train driver.

STOP 3

On the way back to the train, WherededIGo found out that not did the man drive the train, he also fixed and such. In the amazement, She once again forgot to ask for his name, for when they reached the train, they went in separate directions. WherededIGo climbed into her bunk, and went to sleep regretting she'd not gotten his name.

WherededIGo had not slept well, so the hike they were taking today was killing her. She took another bite of her muesli bar, and it was so crunchy it hurt her teeth. This was turning out to be the worst day of the trip. Through out the hiking trail were many sculptures of the same lady, which our tour guide said was a lady who protected the village many years ago. WherededIGo was paying much attention, but was focusing more on a small figure high in there, which looked kind of like, WherededIGo gulped, kind of like a dragon. WherededIGo looked down, they were on a very narrow ridge, and they were very high up. It was designed so that they could view the scenery better than on the train, but WherededIGo would've preferred to have taken the train. Just as she looked back to the front, she slipped on a moldy rock. She tried to regain her balance, but under a thin layer of snow was a small patch of ice, and she slipped on that as well. She was about to go over the fence and ledge when she felt a firm grip on the back of her shirt. It pulled her back onto the path and she turned around to see who it was.
"Um, th-thank you" WherededIGo mumbled to the elf. "Is there anything I can, er, give as a solatium ?" She asked, trying to avoid staring at his odd-coloured eyes.
"Just be more careful" He whispered and continued to walk.
The rest of the hike went with out a problem, and they met the train half way and it took them the rest of the way to the town. WherededIGo spotted some people duct taping broken shoes, and she was relieved hers didn't break.
Not surprisingly, the train station was banal . Especially when you compared it to the rest of the town. After weaving through the houses, WherededIGo found herself at a haywire market. She examined the wares, trying to find a good present to buy some of her younger relatives, and when she found some, she left happy, hoping she would make it back in time to get her dinner hot.

----------

STOP 4

The lunch was delicious, and it inspired WherededIGo to explore this rare place more seriously when they arrived. There was a make your own toy competition, and WherededIGo entered, scoring herself a ticket in a raffle. She learn't how to play some songs using different whistles . Though it did annoy an irascible person, and then the group teaching her disbanded. She than looked around at the toy stores, examining the beautiful craftsmanship, and a nice store keeper gave her a figure that looked like a blob of jelly as a gift. It made her quite hungry so she went off to a little shop to buy a snack. The shop was amazing, most of the food looked like toys them self. There was even a chocolate calculator ! WherededIGo bought something that looked relatively safe, and went back to exploring the quaint village. All the toy makers were really serious about their work, and the end result showed. WherededIGo wished that she had waited to buy things for the little ones here instead of the other market. She went into a toy hat store, and tried many of the interesting hats on. She particularly liked blue cap that had white ribbons tied all around it, and dangling off each ribbon was a person. WherededIGo bought the hat, and went back to the make your own toy competition, to find out her ticket had one the main prize, a basket of toys made by a master. It was a really big basket, and WherededIGo decided she would drop it off at the train, but a group of obvious incorrigible boys that were also on the train, decided that they would trip her over and steal her basket of toys. WherededIGo tried to chase after them, but she fell back down when she felt a sharp pain in her ankle. Gritting her teeth, she limped back to the train to rest her twisted ankle anyway. She entered the train with effort, and started walking toward her room when she noticed a lady reading what was rumoured to be a lachrymose story. After engaging in a conversation about the book, WherededIGo continued back to her room, when she bumped into another lady, and they both sat down and started to tell tales about their pasts.

----------

STOP 5

They were finally at their last stop. WherededIGo couldn't believe it had gone so quickly. She stepped outside the train, the salty smell hitting her face. This stop would be the finale to the trip, and a travelling fair would be there to help celebrate. WherededIGo coughed for a few minutes, she had a caught a cold last night, but she wasn't going to let it affect her holiday. She saw a swarm of people inundate to the coastline, so they could take a quick dip into the sea, but WherededIGo didn't want her cold to get too much worse, so she stayed away from water, but walked the length of the beach. She found a little beach bar, and ordered an exotic drink, which was a little acerbic at first, but after a few mouthfuls was really sweet. She then walked back, and tried to find the fair, hoping that she could buy some goodies for her friends. She bought a candy hive for her bestie, which had little marsh mellow bees stuck with icing to it. She was then conned into getting a haircut and dye which WherededIGo ended up liking. It was shorter, less messy and looked a lot like a bob cut, and had been dyed a deep black. She enjoyed the fair a little more, having a go at a slide which required you to jump off an edge before landing in the slide and sliding down. It was quite exhilarating, but WherededIGo only tried it once. WherededIGo tried some home made hot chocolate, but it was so rich she had to add milk to ameliorate it. The fair was fun, but WherededIGo's cold worsened with the wind, so she had to cut it short and retreat back to the train for a little while. No-one else seemed to be in the train, so WherededIGo made herself comfortable on the lounge in the dining area. She was quite surprised when the train driver walked in, and immediately propped herself into a more lady like position. The train driver saw her and took a seat next to her.
"Have you been having a good time?" he asked.
"Yes. It's been quite fun, except I've just come down with a cold." WherededIGo answered back.
"Oh, that's a shame." The train driver replied. And there was a silence for a bit. Feeling awkward WherededIGo was about to excuse herself when she remembered something.
"Oh! I never did, uh, thank you for helping me find my way back to the train station on the first day." WherededIGo stood up fully and turned to the man. Who was smiling a little.
"So it was you." He half chuckled. "No problem. It's good that you did end up finding your way back." WherededIGo held out her hand.
"We haven't quite introduced ourselves. My name is WherededIGo. It's nice to meet you, er, officially" She laughed a bit. He held out his hand and grasped her.
"My name is Lance. It's nice to meet you too." They shook hands and parted ways. WherededIGo went back to the beach, soaking in the last part of her holiday.
She was so glad she met all the people she did, and she hoped even after the train trip ended, they could all continue to be friends. WherededIGo closed her eyes, and let the memories of her holiday flood over her.
