Duke glanced to Elsie and then to Kassie, he was a little surprised to see them helping but at the same time it wasn't much of a surprise since they didn't really know why the sleds were being pulled into the cave in the first place.

Zeke watched them for a moment before getting his dogs to settle down before getting his own sled, if nothing it would make a decent bed since they were bring them into the cave, it would have been better then blankets and sleeping bags on the floor.

Elise smiled at Kassie as she began helping with the sleds. "The dog's know something we don't i'm sure." She said quietly.
She had looked at the sky, and personaly thought it looked rather ominous, with its purple red swirls, dark clouding, with the occasional blur of blue...The same as it did almost every day. But she would never argue with the sixth sence dogs were reputed to have.
She was very much a believer in the supernatural, as some might call it.

Kunema suddenly became aware that Dust was watching her, and looking ratehr amused about it too. She wagged her tail, and smiled a doggy smile. "Oh it might be hard sometimes, but it's a good life too i'm thinking."

Zeke yawned slightly as he sorted out his sled before getting himself comfortably in it. It was probably getting late now but days here seemed to drag by besides, they had been going for hours on end so it was no surprise that anyone of them would possibly be tired by now. He glanced to his dogs for a moment before pulling his blanket right up and pulling his hood up just so it covered his eyes. He let out a faint sigh as he closed his eyes but only for a moment. He wasn't actually a sleep yet though, he was aware of everything that was going on around him.

Zeke dropped the harnesses before glancing to Kunema then to the others. "Stay at the back of the cave tonight." He advised both Kunema and Dust if she would take his advice. He trotted off to a corner at the back of the cove before stretching out slightly and then lying down.

Kunema looked at Duke as he spoke, and then glanced at the entrance. She gave a shake before padding off to their sled, which was near to the back of the caver, slightly at one side. Curling up in there, she began to think of sleep. Her tired body craved it, but her mind was not so keen, and so she lay, in anticipation of something she knew nothing of.

Elsie's eyes were feeling heavy. Not so much from wanting to sleep, but knowing that there was little else to do now, apart from sleep.
She scanned the room, looking to see where everyone was setting up camp. Kunema she saw had settled in the sled.
She looked towards the majority of the dogs, at the far right hand corner, adjacent to the entrance.
She decided they would be her best bet in keeping warm tonight. And thus she went crawling up to them. Some of them sniffed at her, but they all let her through, to the center of their ranks. There she lay, much more like an animal herself than a human.

Duke lay with his eyes closed and his tail over his muzzle as he slept in the corner. He shifted slightly before opening one eye and glancing over to the cavern entrance. He yawned slightly before side glancing over to the other dogs which lay all huddled together along with Elsie. He shifted slightly in the snow before closing his eyes again, the only reason he had for being this anti-social was the fact unlike the rest of the dogs here, he was a half blood.

Zeke was already asleep in his sled, his artificial fur blanket wrapped around him. He was a deep sleeper and never really woke unless of course there was something annoying or loud enough to wake him.

After some time, Kumema felt she still couldn't get into sleep. She shuffled around within the confines of her sled, but eventually she had to get up. Looking around the room, she saw the rest of the dogs, and her own Elsie. Then, she saw Duke at the other end. Sleeping on his own, as he always did.
She pondered her thoughts for a while longer, then almost tip-toed over the other dogs, and settled down near Elsie.

The girl herself was not asleep either. She always took time to nod off. She looked up at her husky, and smiled before laying her head back down on her arm. She gave a shiver as wind danced about her.

As the night rolled in, the storm grew closer, it must have been below freezing by now, the snow outside was still getting deeper and the snow that fell seemed to be getting faster, and harsher. Duke woke from his slumber glancing to the falling snow, he stretched out slightly glancing to Kunema and the rest of the dogs before he glanced to humans. He knew this would be rougher for then than it would the dogs but he also knew that the humans pretty much depended on their dogs while they were out here.

Zeke turned in his sleep before actually openings his eyes for the first time in a few hours, only to be greeted by one of his dogs, tongue lolling out at the side. "Go away." He muttered to the dog, pushing it's snout away before sighing. Though he shifted slightly seeing how heavy the snow was coming down now. Had their instructor been there, he would have probably felt a little better but since the accident, they were left on their own without a clue what they were really doing.

She didn't move, nor did she do much at all after she settled down for the night. Kassie was one that was easy to lull to sleep. She was a bit putoff by the harsh chill, but other than that, she slipped into sleep after not too long.

Dust however was a different story. "A good life, and a rewarding one." She answered to the younger dog. As her human started to sleep, Dust hered the other dogs fromtheir sled into a corner, and then settled down on top of Kassie's feet. Indeed, they were in the back of thier cave. Surely, it would be warmest there.

Kunema found herself awake, seemingly to her, not very long after she had drifted off. Elsie had unknowingly grabbed hold of her tail, in her sleep.

For a while she lay there, listening to the storm outside. The snow...It seemed to call to her, to be singing to her with every flake that fell.
She stood, letting Elsie's hand slide to the floor, and half jumped over the sleeping dogs.
Zeke she could hear, was awake. It was dark in here now though, and she was sure nobody would see, or mind, if she were to have a peek outside.

She padded along the side of cavern, reaching the entrance, and stared out into the wildly dancing snow.
Now she was here, she could feel temptation pulling at ever strand of her hair. 'Just a quick run about...not to far from the cavern...' It whispered to her.

Dust moved fast hearing the younger wolf, and coming forward with speed she rarely got to use, spring next to her in an isntant, and partially in front.

"No. Can you not see? This weather is not that of a snowy tromp. Stay inside. You can have your run when the weather is clearer." The older female was adamant about this. True, the snow outside called ot her as well, but her sense of duty and good judgment overwhelmed her personal desires.

Duke shifted from his spot, trotting over to the two females before sitting down. His ears were erect as he sat watching the snow before glancing to Dust. "If the pup wants to run she can." He stated before glancing to Kunema. "But just remember, going out there will be the last thing you do. Ever." He added with a stern look. Kunema had to learn for herself, not be told what to do every step of the way. After all, the dogs learned from their own mistakes, even he had too though he had more to learn being half wolf. "So answer the call, but she'll only lead you to your death." He added, he was trying to get her not to go but at the same time urge her to do it. This was her choice and one she had to make of her own accord.

Dust gave him a simply eye roll. True, he had a point, she could go as she wished. Though now, the youngest one had all the sides. The snow had given its call, one of gaiety and freedom. She herself had become the cruel, cold voice of reason. Perhaps the paranoid one as well. And Duke formed the third voice, one that simply declared she was free to do as she wished.

All sides present, Dust took a step back, sitting on her haunches with a sigh. To lose a dog was it's own price... and now, when they'd need it most. The statements had been made. Duke was right when it came to this- the choice must be her own... Silence came from the older dog, but it wasn't the stunned kind.

Kunema was broken from the storms call, when Dust appeared beside her. She jumped back a little with surprise.
"I...I'm sorry. I couldn't help myself. "I won't go out there."
Although her voice sounded firm, she still looked out at
blizzard. As she looked a stray snowflake drifted in and landed on her nose. She shook it off thoughtfully.

Duke smirked faintly. "Wise choice." He muttered before getting back to all fours before glancing to Dust. He took a few steps forward, half of his body out in the bitter winds, half still covered only just by the caverns walls. He closed his eyes and raised his head slightly letting the wind brush through his fur before turning to walk back into the cave. "We have a long trip ahead of us. We should sleep all we can." He muttered to both of the females before trotting off back to his corner and lying down.

Kunema Looked at Duke as he spoke, glancing now and again to the outside.
When he trotted off, and Dust was quiet beside her, she decided to sit. After a few moments more she lay down, staring out into the blizzard.This time it's voice seemed to lull her to sleep, make her eyes heavy. She peeped from the corner of her eye at Dust.

Dust gave her a smile. "Excellent choice dear.The snow is our friend and our foe. And in times like these... We need it to be a friend, but it will likely be a foe... given the way the weather outside is looking..."She then gave the younger female a nod and then returned to her human, resting on Kassie's feet once more.

Over night, the snow continued to fall until morning when it finally came to a stop. The entrance to the cavern was filled in slightly but it wouldn't take long to dig their way out.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~~
Duke awoke glancing to the snow before yawning and stretching. He glanced to the others for a moment before walking over to the snow and climbing up, his paws slipping every now and then as he got over it before peering around outside. "Everything seems good enough to go." He muttered before walking back over and edging his way down...well until he slipped anyways.
Zeke was up and already packing his sled as he got his dogs ready for their next trip out. There was still a long way to go and very little time to get there, especially since all trails would have disappeared in the snow storm last night.
